What a great idea! I love the two sided part of it too and the fact that you do have a full sized 12 x 12 sheet to work with as well. Now, for the next step, you need to create a pack with four 6 x 6 squares on the other side of the solid color. That would make it nice for cutting out larger items.

Wow, I am looking forward to your new paper. My friend and I just finished a couple of weeks ago a big National School Nurses Day project using Every Day Paper Dolls. We designed 43 different dolls one respresenting each nurse in the school district. Each doll was made to look like each nurse we made them for, ie hair color and style, colors they like, accessories, etc I would send a picture but computer challenged and not sure how to attach (Unless you will accept a “Smile Box” email). Anyway, they were a great success and most of the nurses said they represented them to a tee. (We placed them on cards we got off your Card making DVD, that was also a hit because they could desplay their cards in their clinics.) Several teachers at our school asked us to make one for them using their appearance etc so we may have many more to make. My point being, I hope you will think about designing different shades of hair color with texture. We looked for different papers some with tress, leaves, scrolls, just thing that was kind of a shaded textured back ground, it makes a tremendous difference in how the hair looks, instead of just flat color. We also used color pencils to draw squizzles to enhance the texture of hair. Fun Fun, details makes all the difference. Don’t know what we will do next year but wow great fun. Looking forward to seeing the shades of skin tones as well. I think just a whole package of skin textures and hair colors together in one package would be a great and I for one would buy tons, it is so hard to find good color combinations. Have a great day and if you have good ideas for hair add them. Good luck with new paper adventure, I am sure you will be amazing and successful.

Congratulaions Megan Elizabeth! What a great idea1 Your paper will be great to use when we make cards and small projects. I’ve tried many times to place small pieces of paper on the cutting mat and then tried to cut out different layers only to have the small pieces of paper lift and slide around with the blade. Thank you for solving this frustrating problem for us. I’ll be watching for your paper in the stores!

Okay, help me out. I love the idea of this new paper, but what do I do with it after I’ve cut the porcupine? It’s pretty expensive to use a whole sheet of paper for one small design, so show me how to utilize the entire sheet for cutting more designs, especially when it’s getting pretty “cut out”. And I might not want to use that some sheet right now, but come back to it in two weeks. Pulling it off the mat will make it pretty “curly” even if it doesnt tear in the thinner cut-out areas. I’m really not trying to be a nay-sayer, cause I’m loving the idea of this paper, but want some constructive ideas on how I can get the most bang for my buck. Would love to see another video demonstrating these things. Thank you!
