my biggest challenge is to find a place to sit down and work… my table is full of crap, I really need to organize my supplies and room… the only time I can scrapbook is when I go to crops…

  • Alejandra

My biggest issue is color coordination. There are times that I just want to go on a shopping spree and buy all the paper and cardstock in the world!

  • Scrappin Dhilly

I would have to say that my biggest challenge is trying to use different patterns of paper together. I see so my projects with lots of patterns and it all works together beautifully however when I try to mix too many patterns it looks like an uncoordinated mess.

  • Martha G.

My biggest issue is getting my thoughts and ideas in order and gathering everything i need, well I should say finding everything I need. I have to confess, I have way too much of everything and really can’t remember most of the time where I have put it. Not a good thing… Thanks for another great giveaway…;)

  • Gayle

I feel the love and oh I do. U love ur work and u love others, so, u must love all of us. The is reciprocated. U work so hard to fill our minds with projects and tools. My darling hubby is unemployed at the moment or I would be shopping shopping shopping to add to my craft room.

  • Therese

my biggest problem finding the time.
my craft room is so disorganise there is no room even if I do have time. I am finding the only time I get a good session is at a scrap day or weekend.

  • Pam Blair

My biggest challenge is every single one of those challenges you posted. I’m not the most creative person but at least I try. I know one thing that I’m for sure of, I have loved hearing from you every day and learning about all your wonderful giveaways. YOUR THE BEST MEGAN! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

  • Tammy T.

My biggest challenge is putting aside time for me and working on the projects that are all in my head. I’ve got the paper, embellishments, ideas, and pictures…just seems like I don’t have the time.

  • Jo Anne

My biggest challenge is putting together different patterns, no.. color combinations, no.. deciding on designs Again, thank you for giving us a chance to win. Love all that you do.

  • Kris Dietz

My biggest problem is finding the time I want to do the projects I have bouncing around in my head. I dream of projects but just don’t have the time I wish to get them done. Someday…

  • Cynthia V

Well for me there is no lack of inspiration with all the good ideas all over the net. I would have to say, my biggest challenge is settling my mind down to decide what and how I am actually going to create. It is brain overload. Once I get past that hurdle, Organization is my next biggest challenge. I need to figure out the best way to situate my supplies so that I don’t get hindered with too many, not enough choices at once. thanks for the opportunity to win. The surprises and goodness just keep coming. Ü Cynthia V. vandyzfam@sbclobal.net

  • Malena

    Challenge 1 – time.
    Challenge 2 – coordination of colors, patterns,etc.
Challenge 3 – perfectionism it’s never as good as the sample or someone else’s.

  • Glenda

My biggest challenge is to use different patterns on cards and layouts, I like to keep things simply, but I want to get out of my comfort zone and mix patterns up like you do!

  • Joan

My biggest challenge when making cards or scrapbooking is to stop losing my tools which I have only just used but mysteriously disappear when i need them again, I seem to spend most of my time looking for them 🙁 could this be an age thing I ask myself?

  • Kathy H.

My biggest problem is deciding what supplies to use and also color combinations w/ pattern paper. Gonna do some crafting today so wish me luck w/ all this. Thanks again for the chance to win.

  • Kathi Carlozzi

My biggest challenge is getting the paper located on the mat so that I am not cutting no paper only mat. LOL I am learning more and more about it, so I do not do it as much as I used to. Thanks for these great giveaways and I do hope I can win one.

  • KathR

My biggest challenge is colour co-ordinating, think I must be a little bit colour blind…lol…And finding more time to do craft…
    hugz Kath…

  • Kavita

Hi. My biggest challenge is deciding when my project is finished. Very often I find myself going back to an old project to add another finishing touch.

  • Judi S

My challenge is finding/making the time. Everything just crowds in. I have to schedule the create time just like everything else. It is soooo worth it when I do! Thanks for your dedication and inspiration to all of us out there Megan! Have a great weekend. Blessings

  • Pam B

Time is probably my biggest challenge. I carry a notebook and do my designing during down time at work etc(my job allows that)so that is the easy part. When I do get time to squeeze in some creating (which isn’t often) I don’t want to stop!

  • Margaret

I have two, finding time to go to the place of our buisness when it is closed as that is where all my supplies are stored and then figuring out how to use the pattern paper to my advantage, I see so many pretty sheets but I have a problem mixing different patterns as it was always a no-no growing up. Love your giveaways. Thanks so much can’t wait

  • Barb A.

My biggest challenge is what to put on the inside of a card. I don’t know what to write. My second biggest challenge is color cordination. I have a hard time mixing patterns, too.

  • Rosario

My biggest challenge is the size of my room as it doubles as a guest room. I need my own space. It’s hard to get in here and work as I have accumulated quite a bit of creative materials. I need a larger space.

  • Angela

I’ve got a few. 1. I buy way too much stuff because I have coupons. 2. Creativity block, but once I’ve got an idea, I run with it. 3. My tools – specifically my Gypsy. I get something to work the first time and then, bam, it’s gone. I’m starting to write my ideas down and what I’ve done – like when I bake and change up a recipe. 4. Space is always an issue.

  • jan mckenzie

okay…i. too buy way too much stuff and then dont have time to make anything!!! I have to be good, atay home and craft! I will feek better….

  • Paula C

Time management for me. I have 2 young kids, an epileptic dog, a full time job, a part time job, another hobby job and a husband!! Crafting is not at the top of my list!!!

  • Linda

Megan. I am a newbie and all that you mentioned are my challenges. I originally gave up when I could not master the envelope. Color/ pattern paper I feel is my biggest challenge.

  • Maggy Tronche

Hi Megan! Thanks for other fun giveaway! Love it! Well I’m begginer in this great world of crafting so my big challenge right now is how start organize all the things, and how start of one project at time because I want make many things but it just can finish one LOL! Because I love a lot of things and want make all! Thanks again! Hugs.. Maggy

  • Rose

Trying to find the right colors and puting them together.oh ya and time.I have to be outside trying to get things done before winter.I do love crafting.

  • Madonna

My biggest problem is the creative block…starting to find my cards are too similar to each other. I don’t like that. I love buying different papers, ribbons, brads etc, but afraid my cards are starting to resemble each other. My family loves getting my cards and they get excited about what the next one will look like. I don’t want to disappoint them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreiated.

  • star

My biggest challenge is still journaling. I think this is the biggest block for me. I have created so many pages and 98% of them don’t have titles or journaling on them! I need to find a way to bring the creative juices into the title which I think might help get my journaling the jump start that it needs.

  • Diana Kemeny

My biggest problem is creative block too, usually try to get ideas from all the great sites like yours. Thanks for all the giveaways!

  • Melinda

Humm good question!! Mine is two fold…#1 usually I have to see a design to get ideas and THEN I can go from there with my own ideas and creations #2 sometimes I just don’t always know what a tool can do, I am limited in using a tool to its full potential.
This is so exciting I can’t wait for the Finale!

  • Carolyn Young

My biggest challenges are time, space and skill. I have tools but haven’t figured out how to use them, then comes a better tool, which I buy, but don’t master…..I can’t wait until retirement! (sm)

  • Marilyn Caro

My biggest challenge is when I am scrapbooking It takes me a while to decide how to do the layout. Hoping to watch your Webstream if Tropical Storm Lee doesn’t take our power out.

  • Ive

Hola, my biggest dilemma is finding the right adhesive for the job – some adhesive labels say that they are good for paper, plastic rhinestones, but clearly trial and error is the best bet. Like why can’t we have a universal adhesive like world peace hmmm..

  • helen

my challenge is think outside the box, if i see a card i love i tend to make it the same as the one i saw but i want to learn to expand on an idea and make it my own.

  • jeannette

I have to agree with so many of the others that finding the time is a huge challange. Grandma of 3 (scrapbook subjects) and full time work just seem to drain me.

  • facsmom

My biggest challenge is getting started. Knowing I am going to make a mess (I’m really not a neatness freak, trust me!)is difficult. Along with that, time is an issue. I don’t create enjoyably or well in a limited time block. My crafting space is well organized but is shared with my desk which is also my school teacher work space. Once I get started, I’m good. Thank you for all of the fun these 21 days.

  • Linda

My biggest challenge is color coordinating. It is hard for me to decide what colors and where, but I love papercrafting, and everything usually looks good in the end.

  • Kathie

I have two challenges – 1. scrap paper. I try to keep it organized, but it has a tendency to take over my work area. 2. I have a hard time leaving edges bland. I feel they are unfinished until it is outlined in black. I know, it’s an illness.

  • Brenda

Hi Megan – thanks for all you are doing, inspiring us, during this time when the country is not its best. Here are my items TIME – surviving a job streamlining, = more hours, while still being a mom to my last son, who is very active in church, scouts and sports. When I do have time – it is I’m STUCK ON SAME COLORS – a lot of pictures seem the same, with boys in sports. Pink doesn’t go well with wrestling pics. At least I have the time with my family, pics & video to look back on later.

  • Kathy

My biggest issue is not having a craft room…so I am left with pulling everything (which is a lot) out of a closet, and then when I am done putting it all away again..

  • Donna Dial

My biggest challenge is color coordinating. I have lotz of paper to choose from, I am just not good at putting it together. My work usually turns out fine but it is often times a struggle. I love to watch you put colors and patterns together, you are soooo talented.

  • Paula

My biggest challenge is organizing and finding the space to store my supplies (ie stamps! I have tons of them all in different areas, themes, wood mounted, cling back, unmouonted, by manufacturer, etc.) I have way too much stuff to put into one room, so it spills out into other areas. Need to purge / donate some things, but I love the things I have acquired but just can’t get it all put away to find it when I need it or have the workspace cleaned off. Lol! Love my stuff, just keep buying more cool stuff!

  • P.J.

My biggest issue the past year has been time. Besides my schedule, I’ve had to help more with my elderly parents and had 2 daughters’ weddings in the last 12 months. I’m learning to have a major layout planning day every few weeks, then do little bits like matting a photo or using my cricut for one thing when I have a bit of time.

  • melanie

My biggest challenge is time and the room . My craft room is a work in progress and still working out the organization details but need more time. LOL thanks for the chance to win

  • Amelia Andrade

My biggest challenge is remembering how I was planning to lay everything down on the page. I only have short periods of time to scrap so inbetween all my home responsibilites, kids and a full-time job I find 15 minutes here or there to put what I call packages together with all my cut peices, embellishments, pics and paper. The when i go to scrap-I forget why I had put together what I put together and how I was going to lay it out. ugggh! Thanks for the chance to win the cards DVD!

  • Christina 4635

One of my challenges is where to keep ink pads so they are orderly and also accessible. I have too many to keep out all the time and yet half don’t get used enough because they aren’t right in front of me.

  • Kathy F

I would have to agree with those who said that finding a block of time is the main roadblock for me. I have LOTS of supplies and ideas but can’t seem to find time to sit down and just DO IT!!!

  • JoAnn

My biggest challenge is when I use the Cricut is knowing what size to cut, what pressure, etc. so that I get clean cuts without paper tearing and so that I don’t waste paper and time. I would also like to see Cricut cartridges come up with simpler instructions.

  • Michaal

My biggest challenge is time! I never seem to have enough time. With two little girls and a third due in 6 weeks, plus a full time job, I never seem to have enough time to finish a project.

  • Ann

My biggest challenge is coming up with new ideas to create cards & layouts. Of course there are many sites online I can go to for help. I have a hard time coordinating colors and patterns as well. I would love to win the Cricut Cards DVD.

  • Connie Gage

I would have to say my biggest challenge is also my cricut in also knowing pressure, size and so on and it tear’s and I get upset with it and think I’m not dong things right…. I need to use it more I guess.

  • michelle micallef

my biggest challenge is having a well organized craft room so i do not have to go searching, one day husband will do it for me .

  • Danielle

One of the biggest problems i have had is never having enough work space. I was crammed into our small spare room and had no room to work or store my stuff where they could be easily reached. But this week my husband built me custom shelves and helped me move my craft room to the basement. Now I have plenty of room and everything is at my finger tips.

  • Terri S

Wow what awesome awesome prizes. My biggest challenge is transfering the idea from my head to paper and making it look GREAT. I just get stuck – sometimes.

  • JO

biggest challenge – I love simple so I’m challenged to “add more”. Plus it’s always a challenge to keep my space tidy since I don’t have a lot of table space.

  • Mary N from MN

    1.coordination of colors, patterns,etc.
2.Organization of craft area – can’t seem to find everything I need in such a small place.
3.perfectionism – making it look great – not so, just put together. Thanks for the chance to win..

  • kayla B

I wish there was an easy way to organize scrapbooking materials. I have a new craft room and since I have more space I have trouble locating my stash. You would think a dedicated craft room would make this hobby easier, but really it doesnt lol!

  • KimMJ

Creative block and organization. When I finally do come up with something and have time to sit down and begin I cannot find some of my supplies or forgot where I had put some of the items I may like to use. Other times I tend to find things that I forgot I had purchased :O.

I am grateful for blogs such as yours where I can come to find some ’emergency’ inspiration.

  • Carol I.

My biggest challenge is finding time, or allowing myself time to create. I feel guilty spending time doing something I really enjoy when there is work to be done around the house. I really need to get over that!!

  • Margaret Wise

I’ld have to say my organization, I have the ideas, but my tools and stuff is on top of each other so I need to have every put together so can reach for it, not search. thats hugh I end up with a mess.

  • Kayla

My biggest challenges are that I finally get to sit down to create, but by the time I get out and spread aroubd all my gadgets and papers and stamps and goodies and I play around with it all, two hours have flown by and I haven’t accomplished much on the real purpose! Also, my obsessiveness is a real challenge, allnighters on perfecting things kinda happens a lot when I create.

  • Marion

My biggest challenge is organizing the materials that I want to use and finding them in all of the stuff that I have. And have time for all my Ideas

  • Melissa L.

My biggest issues are that I have too many embellishments so I have a hard time deciding on just a few and matching paper… I LOVE pattern paper so I have TONS of random papers that must be dug through before I can start anything.. lol. Thanks again for the chance to win!

  • Jean Moe

challenges don’t quit! my biggest is that I buy and don’t use and a craft room that is so unorganized that I can’t find a place to work.

  • Joy

It’s all my biggest problem. I’m sooooo new at this I am pretty overwhelmed. I have a Cricut Personal Cutter, about 8 cartiges (Mostly children’s cartridges for my grandchildren) and about 1200 sheets of paper and card stock I bought on E-bay. I’ve made 2 cards and a few of the more intricate shapes on the cartridges for practice. I guess the #1 issue for me is just getting started. I want to do scrapbooks for my 3 grandchildren (ages, 5, 2 and 3 mos) and I’ve got to organize photos, design layouts, buy scrapbooks, etc. But I do think this will be a great creative outlet for me. Any suggestions for these issues would be greatly appreciated. BTW I love your site!!!!!

  • Becky C

At the moment, my biggest challenge is finding space, as I’m in the middle of cleaning out/reorganizing my craft/guest room. It became the dumping ground for everything from other rooms during recent renos; I’ll be glad when it’s clean again.

  • Judy

My biggest challenge is coming up with what I feel is the purfect creation. I like to go online for ideas and thumb through magazines for help.

  • Melissa S.

My biggest problem is keeping myself organized when creating. I tend to spread out to much and misplace tools etc
In the pile I have made while working. I’m usually a very organized person, but when in create mode I’m a mess LOL.

  • Melissa S.

My biggest problem is keeping myself organized when creating. I tend to spread out to much and misplace tools etc.
in the pile I have made while working. I’m usually a very organized person, but when in create mode I’m a mess LOL.

  • Donna R

My biggest challenge is coordinating everything. I may have an idea in mind when I sit down but I can guarantee it isn’t the same on paper when I finish. I don’t always know what works together and I am constantly changing things as I go. Maybe that’s why it takes me so long to actually finish a card. LOL!

  • Heather

My biggest challenges are finding the time to create and keeping up with getting all of my pictures printed! Would love to win! Thanks for the chance!

  • Connie

My biggest challenge, like many others, is time. I craft when the kids go to bed….but so often am beyond my creative zone and fall to sleep too. My other problem is getting photos to paper, lol. I will do the layout and never complete it, so it sits, unfinished, staring at me for years…..

  • GrannyB

My biggest challenge is my daughter. I get hung up on the idea she has a natural artistic ability and would be critiquing my pages. With 6 years experience to her 3 it is getting better.

  • Rebecca

My challenge is finding something my 6 yo can do to keep her away from what I am trying to do. Always looking for ways she can “help”.

  • Ashley R

My biggest challenge is just getting down to my craft room. Its down in the basement and I wish is was upstairs in the main part of the house. I would get in there more often if that were the case

  • Roz B

Whenever I finish a scrapbooking page I bag up the leftover papers to use at another time. My biggest challenge is to use up these scraps in my card making as I hate to waste anything.(It’s amazing what designs you can come up with when your supplies are odd sizes and shapes!)

  • Johanne L.

My biggest challenge right now, is to find time to do crafting. I’ve just begun a new job a few months ago and I have difficulties doing all I have to do between work, home and the kids. Plus, I have to re-arrange my craft space. Thanks for the chance,

  • Carol D.

My biggest challenge is time. I have enough supplies to last years. My Sister and I say the Nursing Home Activity Director is going to love us! A little organization would go a long way too!

  • Theresa Conte

My biggest challenge is keeping supplies organized so I can just find it when I want to use it. I would love to win the Cricut Cards DVD because I don’t have it yet and I love making cards.

  • Charity Brown

My biggest challenge is a time factor and the other is when I do get started, I don’t know where to begin. Sometimes I just have to jump right in!

  • Ohhh Snap

My biggest challenge is to finish one project without getting tempted to start another one in the middle. I had pretty good luck to stay on track on my desk by using a notebook… but I lost my notebook!! If you see it, let me know, 5″ x 8″ white with pink and black swirly designs on it, lots of scribbling inside lol.

  • Nina

Deciding on how I will assemble the layout. I look at layout all the time in magazines and on websites. Once I find a layout I want to copy I just can’t seem to adapt it to my pictures.

  • Teresa

My biggest problem is new ideas/techniques. I live in a location where SB Stores are closing and there are none close by. It’s hard to keep up with new tools/merchandise

  • Joyce

My challenge is finding enough space to set up my Cricut and all my crafting supplies. This DVD would be awesome since I love to crete my own cards.

  • Nancy

I tend to want to do a million things at once, I need to concentrate on one thing at a time. And of course the biggest challenge is finding time, once you start on projects, you could be there for several hours, thats a great thing – but you have to carve the time out.

  • Lynnette Cyparski

My BIGGEST challenge is combining two or more patterns into a design, UGH!!! I don’t know how all these talented ladies do it but I never feel confident in my choices.

  • Anna Mace

This is almost ending…it has been so much fun!! I love all the additional sites you have been sending us to, there are so many talented people with such great ideas!

  • Zandria

My biggest challenge is using new techniques. I love learning new things but few then have a hard time doing them, either too lazy or don’t want to waste the time with messy things.

  • JILL

My tools are organized and I love playing with my stuff but time is at a premium, I need simple, quick projects that look like I have put in the time! Shortcuts so I can make the most of my time are so appreciated!!

  • ShariKay Brantley

One of my challenges is finding ways to use up the “left over” card stock from my projects. I have bags/boxes of little scraps of left over card stock and paper and when I look at them, I see dollar signs just wasting away.

  • Elsie

My minor issue is layout design. I usually have lots of photos to include on one layout which complicates matters…. I have started to use flipouts to help remedy this problem. Thanks again!

  • Tristen Hall

My biggest challenge is finding coordinating patterns and colors in my stash. I usually buy a lot of papers whenever there is a sale, so I have a good supply of different colors and patterns. It’s finding and coordinating my various papers that is my biggest challenge. I need to find a way of organizing my papers so that I will know what I have and where it is filed, so I can put my hands on it when I need it instead of wasting a half hour searching for papers before I start any projest.

Thank you so much for all your inspiration, it’s sites like yours that have taught me so much, that every successful page I have is directly attributed to generous designers like you, my wonderful teachers.

  • Barbara Craft Me This

I guess I am blessed to have the space, the time, and the creativity to enjoy my Craft Room. I even have my husband makes me wood holders for all my glitter bottles, glue sticks, everything right at my fingertips on my work surface. Megan we should talk, it might be something to offer to all your followers. Let me know I will send you some pictures of it. “Creating is the fun part of Crafting”

  • Parth L.

My biggest challenge is coming up with a new layout design for my cards. I tend to use the same layout over and over. My next biggest challenge is mixing patterned papers.

  • Judy Resop

SURPRISE! SURPRISE! Just like Christmas when I was a kid…I Love It!!!! The DVD is just like getting a cherry on top of a great big hot fudge sundae…LOL!

  • Helena

my biggest challenge is finding time to do everything I want to make with my cricut. I want to make cards and I want to scrapbook. Then the kids LOVE the cricut. So as soon as I turn it on they want to cut something. I need TIME!!!

  • LaVeda

My biggest problem is knowing when enough is enough!!!! LOL. I always seem to want to add just a “little bit” more or change things around.

  • Debby J

My biggest challenge is narrowing down to one project at a time. I usually have at least a dozen ideas running through my head and I try to get them all done at once. Sometimes I can do it, and other times……

  • Christina

My biggest challenge is color combos. I tend to make everything pink and brown or teal and brown. That are I spend an hour trying to come up with the right colors. lol

  • Becky H.

I have a lot of trouble with coordinating colors. I also suffer from almost senior, moments. I can have an idea than can’t remember it when I go to do it. I’m terrible about writing something down. I still am at the stage where I think I can remember everything!!

  • Elaine

biggest challenge? getting to the scrapbooks for my sons( who are in their 30’s and 40’s) when there are so many fun cards to create for charity and scrapping for my grandkids!

  • Judy Resop

I was so excited I forgot to write my biggest challenge & that would be the design of a card. Once that is decided on, everything else seem to fall in place.

  • Lisa S.

I find time to be my biggest enemy. I never seem to have enough time to really delve in and spend a good few hours to create. I love spending time with my family and crafting always takes a back seat–as it should. But there are times things just have tobe done.

  • Anne H

My biggest challenge is creative block. I love the work other people do and never seem to get my creations a beautiful as theirs unless I scraplift and make it my own with my changes.

Thanks for a chance to win.

  • kim

creative block…I have trouble settling down & relaxing and just letting my creative juices flow, cause usually in about 5 minutes someone is gonna need me!!!

  • Andrea

I need to organize. I have stuff upsatirs and downstairs. I am goingto acmoore this morning to see what I can find. Thanks for the chance to win. I would love your new DVD.

  • Trena Irby

I can not quit making flowers with the tim holtz die and the Close to my heart Art Cartridge. Also the petal roller. I need to scrap but not happy with old pictures from 1960, 1970 and 80 that I need to scrap. I have tons of paper 3 cricut machines and no time to learn all there is to learn about them, I ordered your gypsy dvd and learned to weld and was so happy also to put your name on top of a block for a photo mat Megan it is wonderful. I love any thing scrapbooking, Thanks for the chance 🙂

  • Cynthia Guy

2 problems! organization and space! yes, I have my own table and room…but the table is small. I am TERRIBLE at keeping things organized…I’m great at doing it the first time, but to put things away???forget it. LOL It’s awful. the most awful thing about being a housewife is I make more messes than my children at times! oh well. 🙂

  • Priscilla Leddy

My biggest challenge is getting the inspiration. I leave my photos out on my scrap table and just look at them for a few days before I finally get an idea.

  • Denise

Mine is finding the time to do something, so that when I do get it, I’m rushed so my creativity is lacking. My go to tool is sketches, page maps, magazines, and online inspiration.

  • Julie

Hmmm…well, I have two major challenges when making cards, the first is deciding on a card design, I guess that would be a creative block, then the second is finding the right papers, color coordinating. Thanks for another chance to win an awesome prize. 🙂

  • Karla

Probably my biggest issue is crating a layout I like. I look at all sorts of examples (in magazines, online, etc.), which really excite me, but when I sit down with my pictures I can’t seem to create something as exciting. LOL I’m getting better at it, but I certainly don’t have that problem conquered yet!

  • judy

When I get ready to make a card or scrapbook. It takes me a while to decide what I want to do. Guess I have card/scrapbooking block. I’ll then check out some books I have on the subject and then get going.
    Thanks for all your advice.

  • Tricia Krebs

I would say my biggest design challenge is creating the actual design from scratch. I am not one to copy what I see in a book, but to take that technique and apply it in a new way, which takes a lot of time.

  • Kathy Tracy

I think my biggest issues are time and understanding a cricut cartridge. The learning curve for the cartridges has always been difficult for me. I am so glad I am a follower of your site because you always have awesome training ideas that have helped me get past that learning curve.

  • Betsy

My biggest problem is working slowly ~ seems like it takes me FOREVER to get a card finished!! I get the idea, decide on papers, color the image, then work at putting it all together. I can’t get a card done in a day like most of the ladies do!! My other problem is that I’m a paper junkie ~ I have lots of paper, but I don’t want to use it because I’m always “saving certain pieces for something special”. LOL
Thanks for the chance to win!!

  • Marilyn

Another great give-a-way! Thank you! I think my biggest challendge is coming up with an idea, I can look at all types of ideas online, magazines, etc…but to put it on paper…yikes. Sometimes they just roll off and other times it takes forever.

  • Jane

My biggest problem is how to store everything I have and want. My apartment is small and space is at a minimum. I love the Cartridge Caddy Cases you mentioned. They work much better than keeping the original cases them come in. Saves space.

  • debbie

My biggest challenge is getting a project finished,i get started and then i get pulled away to do something else like cooking dinner, laundry. Also organization, i need to organize my stuff alittle better.

  • Jeri

My biggest challenge right now is crafting with limited supplies and space. My husband and I are traveling the country in our RV after selling our home. I left all my 12×12 papers in storage and only brought mat stacks or 6×6 paper pads and 8 1/2×11 cardstock with me. I’m missing all my beautiful papers. Megan, maybe you could come out with some Paper Layerz in 8 1/2×11 size. Hint Hint!!!

  • Rose

M biggest challenge is making decisions! Does this look good here? Hmmm is this color right? That is one of the reasons that I admire you so much. You just instinctively know what to do.

  • Judy

My biggest challenge is keeping my stuff organized and where I can get my hands on it. Unfortunately, I have overkill with my stuff and have so much it doesn’t all fit in one room….I’m a ___aholic. Not sure which kind yet, but I’m on the verge of being commited…

  • Jenniece

Well, probably getting an idea and getting started. I usually just start creating from scratch and let the page come to life as I do it. Embellishments, stamps I want to use help define it better. I don’t usually copy other things I see in a catalog but I’m sure my brain includes little things I’ve seen along the way into my designs too.

  • nanci

My biggest challenge is time and space. I havent got the time to really sit down and scrapbook. I also would love to have my own crafting space.

  • Nancy

My biggest challenge is journaling. I can get a whole album done and then have to go back and figure out just what to say on the page. My writing isn’t very neat so I need to improve on that or find another way to do it.

  • Victoria

My biggest problem is coordinating paper with the embellishments. I love adding dimension but sometimes it is too little and sometimes there are too many.

  • Audrey

    Good Morning,
My biggest challenge is to decide to use a different Cricut Cartridge. I get stuck on using the same one. I only have a few to use but I seem to gravitate to the same one all the time. Need to switch out at times.
    God Bless

  • Sharon

My problem is when I buy really cute paper or embellishments, I am afraid to use them. I think I have to have a special occasion or I think I will waste it on a project that’s not worthy of them and then I don’t use them at all.

  • SARAH WILLIAMS

Hello! My biggest challenge is matching patterned paper together.I am still pretty new and I have you to watch to help me along the way!!Thanks for these amazing chances to win.Thank you for everything.sarah

  • Beth W

I always get challenged when I attempt to combine several patterns it always looks much better when others do it. Also…knowing when a page is done…have a hard time embracing the ‘white space’
Thanks for another chance to win an awesome prize!!

  • Peggy

My biggest challenge is having the perfect accessory or decoration for my cards. I improvise a lot and use what I have and they turn out just fine.

  • Sue F

Most of the time my biggest issue is a mental block. Will visit your website and it seems to kick start the old imagination. Thanks for such great ideas and great give aways

  • angela

My biggest problem is sizes , I never cut things the correct size the first time, and I can’t cut a straight line to save my life! Then there is always the space issue the more you have the more you need. Gotta love it, more , more, more!!
    Angela R

  • Ruth

My biggest challenge is color coordination and like some one else mentioned patterened paper coordination. Then there is the mind block somedays I am on a total roll then there are those others where you just sit there and look. So these DVDs would be perfect! Thanks again

  • Pam

My biggest challenge is coming up with an idea and then finding the right stuff in my scrapbooking room. Still not completely organized, but getting there.

  • Louise W.

Creative ideas is always an issue. I’ll try to look at the picture theme and hopefully that will help the ideas to flow! Thanks for the opportunity to win.

  • Aggie

I think my biggest challenge is being sure to use a variety of title fonts and place titles in different places on the page. I seem to get in a rut sometimes and keep doing the same thing.

  • Tanya Thompson

My biggest challenge is creative…I don’t like to repeat myself on cards or layouts…so I cruise through magazines and blogs to look for inspiration. Once locked onto something appealing, I tweak it to make it mine and then all is good!

  • Judi H

I am new to crafting — bought my cricut in February this year. My biggest challenge is being creative and learning how to use the cricut and cartridges. Your website has helped as well as others I have found through you tube. I’m getting some good ideas and slowly getting some projects done.

  • Vivian

Sometime it is the creative process but sometime I have the idea and it is the color scheme that I may have a problem with. I love the proess of getting it all together and then seeing the end result.

  • Meghan Allen

I would say that color coordination when doing quantities of cards is difficult. I find myself wanting to make multiple cards that are similar but don’t want to use just plain card stock – hard to march patterns w/in a multi colored card.

  • Darlene Alonzo

My biggest problem is I don’t know where to start. I have a lot of ideas and some tools, but I get disorganized when I sit down to start. I start somethings then I think up of others and put that aside and start something esle. I do finish all my projects, I just need to keep at task with one at a time.

  • Denise

my biggest challenge is paper storage.
I have a cart that wheels, and my daughter separated all the colors, but I still need more!! I want to see the name of the color at a glance. Thanks for all the info you give. Love it!

  • Lisa R

My biggest challenge is finding time and space. (Okay, that’s two, but they’re related.) I sooo wish I had a dedicated space so I wouldn’t have to spend a lot of my time getting out materials and then putting them away when finished. It leaves less time for creating.

  • Mommyme

For me, unless I sit down with inspiration in mind, it takes me awhile to get the gears going. Then, even more time to coordinate the components. And, time for tweaking. TIME!

  • Therese

My biggest challenge is creating. I am newer to the cricut world, so it takes me awhile to design my cards and pages. Your website has been so helpful and I cant wait to try your new paper. It will make it so much easier to cut my images. Thank you for the great info on your site and for the giveaways…

  • Evelyn

HI, I have a creative block and when I have a Idea I don’t have all the tools to do it. Like a embosing machine, i emboss by hand with the lamp. Like to have the Cricut embossing machine….. SO lets have fun today….I will betrying my first vinyl cut on my cricut E machine…fingers cross please….. LOL….have a nice Saturday….

  • patricia

My biggest challenge is that coordinating colors and patterns and wanting “perfection”, trying to decide which design I want to cut with my cricut and takes me for ever to find that design and when I find it I change my mind, yikes! but when I finally get it done it comes out great! My challenge is also being afraid of using my gypsy and making a mistake :), I have to say that my scraproom is pretty organize because I tend to do that while I figure out how to create my page.

  • Jamaine Brasseaux

    1. Organization-I have more stuff than some of the local scrap stores. 2. Because of #1, Space. 3. Because of #1 & #2, I spend all my time actually trying to organize paper, cardstock, stickers, embellishments, photos, writing supplies, punches, etc. and NO time scrapping/cardmaking. LOL
    Ore

  • Linda Weiss

My biggest challenge is sitting down and doing. I always have the desire, but I seem to get to the computer to see what others have done before I start, and before I know it, I ran out of time to actually do the scrapbooking

  • Lady Fair

Hi! Sometimes I get creative block, and other times I get so many ideas, I don’t know which direction to go with a project. As long as I’m having fun, it’s all good. Thanks for the chance to win.

  • Carmen

    Hi Megan~
I think my biggest challenge is having room and being organized! I wish I had room to put all of my machines and equipment in one area, and having my work table free to work on! THanks for the great giveaway! I cant wait to see what the surprise is!

  • Megan

My biggest challenge is ready definitely getting started. That means that I have to put the laundry, dishes, cleaning, lesson planning, and whatever else on hold. It’s hard to get focused knowing there are so many other things that need to be done. When I do allow myself the freedom to be creative, I end up working for several hours at a time.

  • Judi Farrell

Challenges…..hmmmmm…..let me count the trials. 1)Finding time. 2)Finding space. 3)Choosing the photos to scrap. 4) Layout decisions. Those would be my MAIN trouble spots. Once I get through that, I LOVE to scrap. 😀

  • Georgette Mitchell

Biggest challenge is getting in my head an idea and then seeing it to the end. I tend to start my project and then go off into another direction and don’t complete the project.

  • Melissa

Me like most have no really space to leave my scrapbook supplies out.Clean it up when you have to and not quite finished what you started a project, SUCKS!
So all you out there who have your own craft room/space feel blessed.

  • Valerie f

To be honest saying no is my challenge. If I would not do so many scrapping things for others I could get my things done. It seems when I do scrap for myself I have too any pictures for a page to accommodate a double page lo.

  • Valerie

My biggest challenge is organizing my supplies on a budget and creating a work space that is functional. I have a room, but not the money to buy storage items and work areas.

  • Megan raleigh

I am still new to scrapping and so I always struggle with getting started on the layout and then how do I make it look appealing and timeless.

  • Marissa

My biggest challenge would have to be I have too many projects I want to work on! After viewing all these great projects you wonderful ladies demonstrate, I want to try them all, which leaves little time to scrapbook my thousands of pictures I have! I love your videos BTW!

  • Barbara

My biggest challenge is assembly, which glue will hold the best and finding accessories to implement my ideas. On my 2 last project I made trips to the hardware store and to a plastic shop. Sometimes the finished project isn’t the same as it was in my head.

  • Jaqui H.

My biggest challenge is organization and space. Very tight and limited space, so finding things can be tricky when it is all stacked on up on each other.

  • Toni

I spend way to much time try to organize my work area. My actual space to sit down and create is always covered. I need a bubble over it, so I don’t have a flat spot to lay things on. Next to that would be a creative block.

  • Gaylen Flynn

My biggest challenge when scrapbooking is know how to implement an idea. Also, when I look at others’ pages and then look at mine they look incomplete and plain. Very frustrating because I want the WOW factor with my pages.

  • Lisa W

I have the same challenges as everyone else: not enough time, creative block, and trouble finding just the right combinations of patterned paper plus solids. I have found two things that really help. The first is the new Cricut magazine. I flip through it for inspiration, and dog-ear the pages I want to try. The second is my Gypsy. I take it with me when I have to wait, either for an appointment or on long car rides. Then it’s just a matter of putting the different papers together and cutting them at home. I think I might have too much stuff now, and it can be a little overwhelming. Now if I could just find 3 more free hours available in each day!

  • Sherri Hopkins Wood

The hardest I find I’d staying organized. I think I have things set and the next thing I know is everything is out and then I have no room to work. I keep changing my mind where things should be.

  • Gayle

I guess I would have to say it is matching colors. Also what emblishments to use ie) ribbon, sparkles, border punches &/or strips, flowers, etc. That is why I love my Cricut so much.

  • cindy

My Biggest challenge is using certain tools! How to make something out of a stamp! Using different colors with patterns and then adding a solid with it! Deciding on what is the proper measurements!

  • Trish S.

I am challenged with almost everything you mentioned! I would say time is the biggest issue & when I find time I have a hard time being creative when my head is full of all the other things I need to do.

  • Laura

My biggest problem is table top work space. I have a lot of supplies and tools but my work space is very limited. Also, sometimes I get a creative block. When that happens I get our some books in my scrapbook library and then I can get inspired.

  • Irene Baker

My biggest challenge is not overdoing the embellishments on a card. I love Pearl Pens & Ranger Stickles, and use both of these for almost everything. So I would say “pacing” my “embellishment monster”.

  • Nikki C.

My biggest challenge is having time to create something. I have so many ideas and projects, but not always enough time in the day to get them done.

  • Darla Haverstock

My biggest challenge is my own procrastination!! I plan on making this extravagant card for someone requiring a couple hours and end up leaving it to the last minute and then needing to come up with a whole new idea that I can complete in 20 minutes instead.

  • Fran

I struggle with organizing my time and putting my thoughts down when my mind is in creation mode. My mind is always busy with creations. I’m getting there….top of my “bucket list”.

  • SalLee Weidman

I am a very logical thinker so anything creative is difficult. I create because it is hard and makes me use a different part of my brain.

  • Linda Lapotka

My biggest challenge is space. I have enough of it but when I create. I fill it all up and end up working in one tiny spot. I need to put things away but I may need them again. I am working on it. Well I am trying anyway. How to you keep organized when you are creating?

  • Pat

My challenge is everyone uses my craft room as a spillover room. It takes me at least 15 minutes to even get to my table, then my creative thoughts become filled with irritation,. No fun at all.

  • Norma Weiss

I’m always relieved to finish a scrapbook and then my biggest challenge creating that next new page with a whole different idea. I also have organization issues too.

  • Elaine Glasscock

My greatest challenge is that I have so many craft projects and ideas running through my head that I have trouble getting started on just one. I need a good way to organize my thoughts and ideas.

  • Shirley

I agonize over the colors I use. I have a color wheel, ect, but i have to lay them out on the table and spend a day or two changing things before I start a page.

  • Linda

MY biggest challenge is finding time to craft. I love doing it but never find time with working full time, big garden and family. I realise I’m doing nothing but sleeping from 10:00 til 5:30 but…..

  • kathy t.

I really have problems choose paper. And then when I do chose, I don’t like it, or I don’t know how to add white gel pen details and/or bling to make it look less boring and flat.

  • Sara S

I tell you what. I am plain having a design block. My craft room gets cleaned, then things go helter skelter once I start doing anything again. Today is my day to get things back to order…………again

  • Pam D

I probably haven’t been in my craft room for 3 wks now. My biggest challenge lately is having the energy to craft. I have my own cleaning business as my real job and am the sole owner/operator, so when I get home I’m literally beat. Not to mention being 55 and going through the life change I just don’t have the giddy up I used to. I know, waaaaa!

  • Marcia

I run a 2 day weekend crop twice a month and I get frustrated that I can’t bring my entire stash with me. It never fails that I have something at home that I want for a page I’m working on.

  • Peggy in Portland

Biggest challenge: Getting my ‘work’ completed so I can get to my craft room! THEN it is color matching. I am color blind, esp when it comes to blues and greens, so I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to buy paper collections that are all ready to go!
    Peggy in Portland

  • Linda j

My biggest challenge is organization I spend too much time just organizing all the supplies that I have. Thanks so much for the chance to win gifts

  • Delise

My biggest challenge if figuring out the right size to cut out my cricut die cuts. One size for one die doesn’t come out the same size as another. it is very frustrating.

  • Danita

Making decisions, organizing. When crafting with friends, I see them make all kinds of cards and I am still on my first! One card in 4 hours is rediculous! But fun. Thanks for your site, Megan!

  • Diana

There are two. Color coordinationa and ……….. being afraid of wasting paper. Not having alot of money and tryong to be thrifty sometimes gets in the way of the creative flow.
    :o(

  • Dee

I need to be get organized! When I do find time, usually it’s when I go to a crop, it seems I forget things I need. I have enough stuff to open a scrapbook store, but most of it is in boxes cause I can’t get it organized, and then I either can’t find it when I need it, or I forget I have it!

  • Arlene (GrandmaTo5)

My greatest challenge is getting all my stuff organized so that I have room to work! I have almost 16 feet of table space and only about 20 inches to work. HELP!

  • Shannon Minner

My biggest problem is supply organization. I have too much stuff and I have a hard time keeping up with it. I also have a lot of supplies that just sit that I don’t use. I’d like to incorporate more of my stash into my layouts.

  • Mary

Mine would have to be creative block. I will procrastinate and look at different projects for inspiration but just don’t get going until usually the last minute. Then when I do get in my room with my papers, equipment, stamps, and supplies I can get going. Just getting there can be quite frustrating.

  • Valery Green

My biggest challenge is organization and making everything work with what I have. Everything is so new and exciting since Im just beginning I feel as though Im behind because I don’t have all the cute fancy items that most have as of yet, Im working on it.

  • Cathy Plese

My biggest challenge is what to put in the inside of my cards, journaling, poems etc. I can spend hours on the net just trying to get an idea and then run out of time for my project.

  • Becky Elfert

My biggest challenge is keeping my craft room clean. It’s too easy to let the clutter take over. It’s a real creative killer when you have to clean before you create.

  • Lisa LeMay

My biggest challenge is the severe lack of tools at my disposal. I am VERY slowly building my tool collection but it is very expensive where I live. I get some GREAT ideas but cannot do them exactly as I picture them. The challenge is trying to to figure out how to create my idea with what little I have. 🙂 Take care!!

  • Jo Ann G

I am very organized and have time, but the creative part just ain’t happenin’. I can look at others’ projects for ideas, then something usually gets through. Just slows one down when you can’t just pop off an idea. With practice, maybe there’s hope.

  • Katy Z

My organization challenge is now over (I hope)I have three projects lined up to finish an album, calendar (2012) and Birthday cards I think everyone I am related, and friends with have a birthday or anniversary in Sept.

  • Anna G

My biggest challenge is space! I only have a small spot on the dining table to work. Once I take something out and finish using it, I have to put it back before I can get the next thing. I also have too much stuff and no place to store all of it.

  • Susan

My biggest challenge is trying to keep my room organized. Love creating and have been a crafter since I was a child. My mom was my mentor to a lifelong love of sewing and crafting. Thanks for all the giveaways.

  • Kellyz Krafting Again

I find the challenge I run into sometimes when doing my scrapbook layouts are what type of embellishments I should use together..lately I have been using buttons, but I want more texture for my layouts and so I find I get a creative block to what I should use.

  • Vennese

The blending of colors of papers is always hard for me. I’m never quite certain. the PaperLayerz card she made was great. makes me think I can actually complete a page in less than 15 mins as opposed to an hour. 🙂

  • Frania

mon plus gros problème à trouver le temps.
ma chambre d’artisanat est si désorganiser n’ya pas de place même si je ne le temps. Je trouve le seul moment où je reçois une bonne séance est à un jour de ferraille ou de week-end.

  • Donna

My biggest Challenge has been posted here already, my craft room is a mess. Right now I am going to blame it on the Hurricane and Earthquake. Works for me!

  • Evette K. Ciampo

My biggest challenge is always design. Even with a design before me I am never sure what papers to use, embellies, etc. Thought I was creative but now I am not so sure but I keep trying and have made huge progress with our stamping group. thanks for a chance to win. ekciampo@yahoo.com

  • Karen G

My biggest problem is my lack of faith in myself to be able to design a great page….some people just naturally know what looks good together….sigh….I am not one of them!

  • Suzanne

My biggest challenge is always finding the right paper to match with the perfect pictures… I seem to loose a lot of time to get started. Maybe because I have a good idea in my head, but then I have to check all my paper to go with it…

  • Bonnie Beck

My biggest challenge is design block. I start to think too much into what I want the project to be and get discouraged instead of just keeping it simple.

  • Sarah S.

My biggest challenge is creativity. All of my scrapbook pages look the same…Mount this picture there and this picture here. I have a hard time with using embellishments. I don’t know all of the different kinds or what to spend my money on.

  • Catherine

My biggest challenges are space and time. I temporarily share my work space with my son’s computer and just when I am in the middle of a project, he wants to use his computer. Also being a teacher, mother, and a wife it is difficult to carve out time to play!

  • Bibi Leak

My biggest creative challenge is trying to not get side tracked onto another card or scrapbook page in the middle of the one I’m working on. I hate to think I’m the only one who does this, lol!!! God bless you and your family.

  • Judy

My biggest challenge is GETTING ORGANIZED and where & how to organize the craft supplies so they can easily be found again!!! Thank you for the opportunity to win:) Have a great holiday weekend!

  • Kathleen

Space and organization! Due to my 750 sq ft loft home, I am unable to keep tools and supplies in one spot or keep my ‘studio’ available for 24/7 access. So I am constantly bringing things out to my dining table and taking them back. I have some decorative storage around my table, but never enough for all my stash of goodies, so I would love recommendations to simplify and bring it all closer together. Most of my supplies are in the small attached garage and I usually have to move the car out to get to them! (Oye, but do you think that stops me?!)

  • Karen

Trying something new, be it a technique, card shape, etc., is a big challenge for me. I tend to stick with the same, “comfortable” card shape/sizes. I loved your Cricut A to Z and that is helping me not be afraid of change!

  • Kathleen

So I am constantly bringing things out to my dining table and taking them back. • Linda Posterick

What fun, I Just love all these surprises!! Looking forward to the big day!! My biggest challenge is just finding the time to make all the things I have in my head before i forget them..lol!! TFS
    LindaP

  • KMG

My biggest challenge is getting distracted by other projects! I will start on something and than stop to find a certain supply, next thing you know I see something I forgot I had or wanted to try! Come on- you know you all have done the same!

  • Joene

It seems to be hard for me to plan a design ahead of time. I just sort of jump in with both feet and hope it comes out good. The Cricut does help me a lot with ideas.

  • Irene mermelstein

    Hi guys,
I think my biggest challenge is getting stuck in a rut. I end up making the same style card over and over rather than branching out and making something new. I love and admire the creativity I see but when faced with the decision of what to make next I have to force myself to do it differently.

  • Diana

My challenges are, keeping my photos organized, creative block and matching colors and figuring out what papers to use. I have more than I know what to do with and I still want more!!!

  • Kristin

I think my biggest challenge is space! I love to spread out when I create, and often I am sharing the dining room table with 3 children (sometimes the four year old too!) So, that is the biggest challenge…organzation of my embellies is probably the second! Thanks for sharing!

  • Janet S

My biggest challenge is the actually idea, I will have one in my mind but cant find the right paper, Having to talk myself into something else can be exhausting, lol.

  • Urszula

My biggest challenges are pick photos – I love so many of them and is so hard to pick just a few – and figure it out how to cut out big things on my personal cricut cutter 🙂

  • Edwina Brown

When I am trying to use a buzy print or a shade that is hard to corranate. It can drive me crazy till I get it just right. I had this challenge 2 nights ago. I love your Dvd’s and Paper Layerz. Thanks for all the fun.

  • Bobbi

Sometimes I feel like I have too many choices. Lots of paper, lots of colors, lots of textures. It can get overwhelming. But that doesn’t stop me from buying more!!!

  • Carolh

My biggest challenge after creating enough space to work, is creativity. I have lots of ideas and tools to create with, but I just can’t seem to put things together to get the right look.

  • sondra nunnally

I lost my daughter at age seven. So when my Granddaughter was born, I ask the Lord to allow me to scrap as many memories of her as possible at my age. I have always regretted that I didn’t have as many photos to cherish of my daughters I wanted. However, it was/is hard for me to scrap with photos of her. So I love making treat bags, cards and scrapping my Grandchildren ( one boy and one girl. ) When I think of them it lifts my spirits and makes me happy. I have been scrapping or attempting to for 7 years now. I have a challenge mixing pattern papers and coordinating them. I see so many cute layouts but can’t seem to come up with what goes with the photos without clashing. Would love it if you could give me some tips. Blessings Sondra

  • PJ

My biggest challenge is not having a space of my own to work so I’m constantly having to put my thngs away and then forgetting what I have and where it is.

  • Janet

My biggest challenge is finding the time. Then I make a mess and can’t create in a mess so then I need to clean…;0( My new goal is to take something new and set it on my table to try when I steal away a few minutes to myself to paper craft! TIA! God bless!

  • Wanda

My biggest challenge is to have a comfortable place where I can scrap at anytime. Not have to drag EVERYTHING out each time I want to create something…. 🙁

  • Briana

The biggest challenge I find in creating is time.
Following a project to the end in one sitting is not normally a common feat for me and my craft room.

  • Vickie H.

My biggest challenge? I’m legally blind so I like LOTS of contrast in my colors and LOVE video tutorials that I can run OVER and OVER and OVER.

  • Gail

I would have to say that I am too indecisive. I debate with myself on color choices, layouts, etc and so then it takes me forever to accomplish a page, card, etc!

  • Lisa A

Time is the challenge. I keep an organized craft space and can always find supplies, but I need to sit down and focus to complete a page and that time is not always plausible.

I might have a tendency to want to over embellish and have to step back and just say no. Just because I have several cute things to stick/rub on, stamp, punch, glitter, attach or whatever, sometimes less is more. It’s true that nature abhors a vacuum, but you can’t fill up every empty space on a page or card just to cover it and end up loosing visual balance. “Think minimalist” or “k.i.s.s.” — keep it simple silly!

  • Christine America Real

Everyone tells me that I have “an eye for color” but I take a very long time deciding which colors/patterns of papers go together. I would say that is my hardest challenge. I tend to buy paper lines that go together for that reason.

  • cheryl

my biggest block is money. money for supplies and stuff. so your giveaways are awesome for the opportunity to create with new stuff and i love to create. thanks for the giveaways.

  • Kathy S.

My biggest problem is organization. And I have to say color coordinating scares me too. I have a small table to craft on however I never have enough room and I also have six jet max cubes. When I want to start a project I can never find what I need with out looking for awhile.

  • Bobbie

I think my biggest challenge is color coordination and using different patterned papers together so that they blend well. Also another challenge for me is to try and think outside of the box and try new ways of doing things not just stick with the old ways.

  • Bunnyfreak

Finding time is a big one. I spend time with the family in the evenings. I either need easy ways to work on things while hanging out with them or ways to maximize the crafting time when I have it.

  • Grandma Quilter

My greatest challenge is finding time to make cards. I love to send cards to my shut-in friends, but it seems like I’m always scrambling to make them. I’d like to make fancy cards but end up with simple ones because I run out of day, before I get everything done. Any hints?

  • Lisa Lahiff

My biggest challenge is having somewhere for everything I own and being able to get to it easily when I need it, because I have such a small space to work with I often spend more time looking for something than actually using it! Thanks again!
    Lisa

  • natalie

A blessing of too many super coupons over the years has turned into a highly disorganized craft room with many great items, but difficulties in finding them. I am a card maker, and I tend to overthink the “perfect” card for the recipient, which often means they arrive after the event.

  • Kimberly Walker

My issue is I have two small boys ( ages 4 & 1) and a husband that’s always at home. So alot of times it take me forever to make a card or a scrapbook page. Because I am always needed. Can you help me or suggest something for me.

  • BETH BARNES

any place is a great place for me.my biggest chalienge is getting started.trying to find the right piece of paper.thanks for the give away.

  • Cheryl O

For me I think it’s a combo: I have so much stuff that’s organized chaos, that I don’t know where to begin. I have the designs going in my head, with so many possibilities of things to use, that it becomes overwhelming and I’m almost stopped before I start! I have so many mediums to choose from and so many papers to choose from that it stifles the creation process!

  • Wendy Lane

I have two main challenges, really. The first is taking the time to sit down and work on my layouts … with three small kids, don’t have a lot of spare time to scrapbook as much as I would like. The second is creative blocks … I am not a creative person by nature, so a lot of times, I don’t allow myself to think outside of the box. This is a goal of mine as I continue to evolve as a scrapbooker! Thanks for another opportunity to win! 🙂

  • Barbara R.

I try to make cards to mail to my mother-in-law every few days. She is in hospice care with cancer. I struggle with what to write in the card.

  • Jeanne

Just getting enought time to complete projects. Maybe I have to many different things going on, sewing, scrapping, quilting, cards for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas (at least 15 each)and just things around the house. I am retired and you would think I would have all the time in the world, but “It ain’t so.” I am busier than ever. Anyway thats my story and I am sticking to it.

  • Debi

My biggest problem is mixing and matching pattern papers with each other, then coordinating solids, and pictures to match. My second problem would be time to scrap. I am very slow putting a layout together, so I do not get much done per session. 🙁

  • Vanessa

My biggest obstacle is finding the time and making myself go in and start scrapbooking. I am a perfectionist and it takes me forever to get a page done.

  • Teresa Kaufhold

I just never seem to be able to use patterned paper! I mainly scrap and make cards with just solid cardstock. I LOVE some of the prety patters, but just never sure how to use it so it doesn’t take over the page or the photos!
    Great give away!!

  • Jenny

My biggest challenge is time. I work full time and have a 2 & 1/2 year old…..then when I get time I never can get a layout to look like I want it too…..

  • Cydney

Making time to create is a challenge since I work full time out of town. When I have time it is great and no challenges to design or execute so much. Biggest challenge is taking decent photos and posting them. I have the clutter and organization challenge ongoing as well.

  • Carolyn

I seem to have a lot of challenges when crafting – ideas, color coordination, finding the time and space at home to work, thoughts that my work isn’t very good, etc. Spend lots of time looking at others work and wish I was that good!

  • Kimberly

I’m still learning all of this so I guess my biggest challenge is learning how to do it. I don’t have a craft area although lately the spare bedroom is becoming it. 🙂 Glad my husband doesn’t seem to mind.

  • Eneyda Torres

My biggest challenge is keeping my work space organized. I make such a mess when scrap, and always loose something while I’m at it!

  • Melissa Smith

Two issues-sometime when cutting on my expression the paper shreds even using the paper guide. The other is getting my border layer even. I saw a ruler that butts against top layer and depending on the size of the border u want you cut along ruler edge and get the perfect width. Now I can’t find the site.
Thanks for the chance to win.

  • Teresa Luck

    My biggest challenge is color and pattern what looks right most of the time it is ok but I just don’t seem to for a better wor see in my mind what it will look like… I know what I like but not good at putting it together :}
    Thanks for all your good work keep it up :}

  • Deanna A.

My biggest challenge is to make the idea I have in my head look good once I put it together!! Seems like what I envision and what it actually looks like done are two very different things.

  • Lydia

My biggest challenge is making the time to play with all my toys. My husband says I spend all my spare time organizing and not playing. I think he may be right!

  • stacy

My biggest challenge is finding the time to sit and focus on projects…I have so many good ideas and WANT to get things completed, but it seems like I am just too busy sometimes.

  • Angie P.

I always get that mental block. I know what I want to do, but its getting to look that way thats my problem. It gets there, but it sometimes takes some time. :)Another surprise, I dont know if I can stand this!

  • Debbie B.

Right now my biggest hurdle when I finally have the time to scrap/make cards is this: I move the things I want to use to my kitchen table and then they stay there for a few days. Drives me nuts! That’s why I’m working on turning a bedroom that no longer needs to be a bedroom into a craft room. Can’t wait until I get it organized!

  • Renee Roberts

My biggest challenge is having to pull out different boxes when I want to work. I wish I had a craft room or space so that everything was at hand. i always remember something I should have used, AFTER I finished….

  • HRHLadyTina

I would say my biggest challenges to crafting are: no space to craft efficiently, being a beginning crafter with no real knowledge, lack of tools/supplies and creative block.

    Tina

  • GranShoo

My greatest challenge when I’m creating is remembering what punches, stamps, cricut cartridges and what’s on each cart., I have in order to make full use of them and create a nice layout.

  • KitN M

Color combo is always tricky…but the worst is when the paper that I picked doesn’t cut well and I have to change plans mid stream! That is why I love to look at image galleries. It helps me to see other color options that I may not have considered.

  • Mindy

Two things are a challenge for me. Coming up with the layout and then accessorizing the page. I like to add things like ribbon/buttons/glitter/brads but have a hard time figuring out how to incorporate them without going overboard!

  • JACQUE

My biggest issue is creative block but I also have a tool issue. I have major trouble picking up tiny cuts in order to get them glued and in place. I heard somewhere of a tool called a “dauber”?

  • Islandnami

My biggest challenge is just getting set up and getting started. I don’t have a dedicated space so I feel like it takes forever to get my stuff out and then to put it away after. I also love embellishments but have a hard time knowing where to use them.

  • Heather W

Seeing as I’m fairly new at this, I would say all of those things you mentioned Thanks for your Sketches I will need to begin to incorporate them into my projects! For JACQUE and anyone with the same issue I purchased a product called QuickStik (Archiever’s) ti comes in real handy for those small pieces.

  • Janet Sisk

I guess my biggest challenge is organization. I am in the process now of trying to make sense of all my stuff. I have been stamping for over 10 years and had a major move in the middle of that time. My stuff got disorganized after the move and I have never had time to get it the way I want it. So that is my frustration – sometimes I can’t find something I need or I forget what I have. I will keep working at it though. 😀 Thanks for a chance to win another great prize. 😀

  • GrannyCharlotte

Just getting started on the project is my problem. Once I actually sit down and go to work, it flows pretty easily. Happy Labor Day everyone!!

  • Cris

My biggest challenge is certainly creative block. I picture an image in my mind and then when I go to put it all together, that’s where it stops….I see everyone’s cards that they make and they are so creative and makes me feel absolutely inadequate in the creative field..

  • Ruth

Soooooo looking forward to doing some scrap booking and if I had the Cricut Cards DVD it would be wonderful. This 21 days has been very fun to watch. Thank you.

  • Ruth

Oops I forgot to mention my biggest obstacle. It is scrapping when I know I won’t be interrupted. The project I am doing is a “secret” so I have to hide what I am doing!!

  • Jennifer

My biggest obstacle is making a decision…I tend to have to pull everything I own out and play first before ever gluing anything down…2nd would be patterned paper coordination!

  • Debbie Eslinger

my challenge is matching patterns and just making a decision, thanks for the surprise giveaway and throwing in the cricut card dvd

  • Penny Mourer

My biggest challenge is to have enough space to put out all my stuff. Having my Gypsy does help with the cartridge space, but I like to have stuff out to compare colors, etc.

    Thanks,

    Penny

  • Anna

My worsed problem with scrapping is when I want to create but have scrappers block. I have found a cure for it at times. I just log on to Above Rubies Studio (blog n utube what ever there is) and look at all the awesome things on the site. So a very big THANK YOU TO MEGAN. Only thing is I then spend so much time on the computer that I dont get anything done. LOL

  • Betty

My biggest challenge is not being creative enough. I see someone cards and they are so great and only if I follow them, can I make them real nice. Can’t seam to do this on my own. Please tell me what I need to do to be able to do this myself. Thanks. Betty

  • Maxine

My biggest challenge is the amount of stuff out there to choose from! I tend to buy now and design later and use inspiration from cards I’ve seen but don’t have the right paper etc so go out and buy more! Thanks for all the ideas and the DVD bonus!

  • Felecia

My biggest challange is color coordination (also choosing the right embellishments) and my Imagine machine at the moment. My Imagine broke during cutting so trying to get that problem resolved.

  • Joan Peters

ONE OF MY GREATEST CHALLENGES HAS ALWAY BEEN PUTTING ALL OF THOSE LITTLE PIECES TOGETHER WITHOUT THE GLUE SHOWING LATER. BUT I HAVE FINALLY FOUND A SOLUTION, LETRA TAC DRY ADHESIVE DOTS. IT WORKS WONDERFULLY AND YOU NO LONGER HAVE ADHESIVE TO WIPE OFF OR SHOW LATER.

  • missionofjoy

Biggest problem, first I have to clean a space on the desk to work, then color coordination–the angst of does this match, do I just think it matches…and on and on with the doubts!!!

  • Evelyn

My biggest challenge, like many others, is finding/making the time to scrapbook. Even when I plan to go to a Midnight Scrapping event I’m just too tired to go at the end of the week. My most productive time is when I go on an annual retreat, get a good massage to relax and then get creative. I really need a whole week instead of just a long weekend. Perhaps when I retire…

  • Ruth

One of my challenges is after putting a lot of time into making a card and making it look really nice on the outside…..I open up the card to write something and major block plus I don’t like my hand writing and it looks just lame. How do you spruce up the insides of the cards and make them look as nice as the outside????

  • Ellen Winkler

I have the exact problem as Ruth in the above comment. You never show the inside of your cards!!!
    Also I have a hard time starting layouts, design-wise. {{HELP}}

  • Sandy Christman

I sometimes have a problem in trying to create something that is unique and can’t find the right bling to give it the WOW factor. It could be I don’t have enough bling or maybe what I have is just not organized well.

  • Shelly

Oh Megan it’s a sad day here in the little beach town I live in, Walmart no longer carries any Cricut supplies or cartridges, now my drive is 45 mins to get to AC or Michaels. Ok now, CREATIVE BLOCK, I too see others cards and think wow how did they come up with that. So that is why I love your DVD;s and now I guess I will order everything on line. 🙁

  • Caroline

The biggest challenge I face when creating is deciding which tools I will use for a project. Although everything is organized and nearby I’m sometimes “handcuffed” when trying to decide which goodie I will use. I need to learn to Keep It Simple Sweetheart! 🙂

  • crafty1

My biggest challenge is lack of work space. I have my supplies hidden in various closets, bookcases, bags, boxes, under the bed, etc. With two cats I cannot leave things on the table overnight or they throw everything on the floor (one even chews on everything like a puppy). Since my work spot is the dining room table, I have to work quickly then put everything back where I got it so I can find things again next time around. I’m dreaming of a new house with an extra room just for crafting – oh well…..

  • Diane

I have a challenge with space. I have a whole craft room but I need more storage. I need to get my computer out of the armoiur and on shelves so there isn’t so much waised space.
    Diane
    Dorris CA

  • Helen

I guess my biggest challenge is color coordinating. I need a sample to look at to give me an idea. Once that is done, then I can take off on my own. Just need that little bit of inspiration. And AR gives me plenty of that, thanks Megan And Britten and everyone else.

  • Celeste

    Hi
My biggest challenge for scrappin’ is staying focused on ONE particular album. I feel I have many different themes going on all the time and I can’t get into a good routine for working/completing/and staying in any type of order. I have great products to scrap and super cool photos to scrap but it’s hard to feel I’m accomplishing anything.
But, I love it all and will never stress out … it’s a big part of my life and I’ll be doing this forever!!
Love, love all your tips and ideas!

  • Anniebee

My biggest challenge is organization. Because I don’t have a real craft room, my stuff is all over the place and I have a hard time laying my hands on something when I need it.

  • Penny J

My biggest challenge is my organization. My stuff is all over and it takes so long to get it all together, my time is limited to actually do it.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Patti

My biggest problem is coordinating colors. I can sit forever trying to figure out what papers to use with my pictures, with each other, etc. I love what I see others do but can’t seem top pick out the right colors for my on projects.

  • Juanita

Sometimes when working on projects i seem to get tunnel vision on a certain technique and end up repeating the technique to all the other projects, If i don’t catch myself by projects will look similar and i hate that…aaaahhhh

  • Maggie J

I do not have a craft room. Organization is the problem. If I have things packed away and neat then I can’t find things and they are not handy to use. Constant battle with this.

  • Elise R

My problem is figuring out what colors / patterned paper to use. It seems to take me such a long time. I’m trying to expand my verizons, but normally stick with 1 pattern and solid colors. Really want to change that!

Thanks for the chance to win.

  • Adelia

my biggest problem is space. I can’t leave my things out they need to be put away each time I use them, so I have to make a block of time to do my paper crafts.

  • Mary Ann Huntington

I have the time and a beautiful room to craft in, but I’m just not very talented and have a hard time coming up with ideas. I’m a great copier.

  • Hilary

My biggest challenge is just getting started! I don’t have a permanent craft area so I have to get everything out and moved downstairs to my table and then actually craft, and then do the crafting, and then put it all away and lug it back upstairs. So instead of doing all that I usually don’t craft at all. 🙁

  • Kelli

my biggest problem varies between finding alone, quiet time (I have a 2 yo boy and an 8 mo boy) where I can focus on a project and creative block. I think my creative block stems from being rushed to come up with and create something fabulous during nap time. I’m always looking for ideas that I can repeat so I don’t waste my precious time just trying to come up with something that looks cool. Color coordination is also a hard topic for me. I’m constantly bugging my hubby (when he’s not at work) to come help me decide on colors to use. BLAH!

  • Krysta

My problem is finding the time and getting motivated to make a mess and then have to clean it up. My little man gets into everything, and I don’t have an official scrap space, so it’s hard to get anything done.

  • Bethanie

My biggest challenge is actually completing a project! I’m great at buying the wonderful materials, and getting the ideas – but the execution and completion is always a stumbling block!

  • Kathy

I would absolutely love the new DVD. I am so excited about these give-aways and hope to be lucky enough to win one of them. I am such a fan of Above Rubies Studio!!!!!!!!

  • Barb R.

I tend to want to putz around and play with all my “stuff” and not really scrapbook. I need to have my friends with me to actually create pages. Otherwise, I’m just playing around and experimenting.

  • Mary s

I am always looking for ideas on organization. (how can I find space to keep buying an storing all my scrapping goodies?) LOL!!!
I recently bought Flower Shoppe. I want to make flowers for my granddaughters to wear. How and what material to use? Help wanted!

  • Rebecca C

My problem is with color coordinating. Anything I happen to see about it really helps me with my card making. I am learning and having fun.

  • Margo

My biggest challenge is staying focused on just one project. It takes me a long time to create as I tend to have many projects going at the same time.

  • Maria Adams

I get so excited when I buy something, but then I have no one to send my crafts to 🙁 sad I know. I love to create, but I keep to myself so I have no one to send it to.
I also have issues combining patterns

  • Lynn Mann

Biggest challenge is when I start to work with my pictures and rethink the sizes they should be for the layout. How do I work with the pictures sizes I presently have to do the layout in an example which has different sizes. And I am not near a computer or copy machine to resize them!

  • Michelle Dixon

My biggest challenge when I’m in the creative process is the layout. I have to design it first, go through several run throughs, find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow then put it all together. Thanks for you!

  • Sharon Harrison

My biggest problem is just getting started. I have a lot of supplies but I think that only makes it harder for me to make a decision about how to get started.

  • Valinda

Well, as I am reading this I realize how many challenges I have in common with everyone! Time is my biggest challenge but when I finally get some time to craft I would have to say journaling is my biggest challenge. Getting excited to find out who wins!

  • Yvonne Villiard Bresolin

My biggest challenge is keeping all my supplies organized in one room! I start a project and end up collecting what I need from the craft room, family room etc…

  • Sue Anderson

I think my problem is I just get overwhelmed. I sit at the table, looking at all that pretty cardstock, my wonderful Cricut, and all my embelishments…and feel like a deer caught in headlights. Don’t know where to start!

  • Anne

Since most of my scrapping is family heritage choosing color and the mood for the piece is most difficult. I don’t want the pages for the album to have the same boring approach for every page. I try to present the pictures from the point of view of the subjects in the photos.

  • dolores weitzman

my biggest challenge is organization, finding all the stuff that i want to use on my scrapbooking layouts, organization of materials is the hardest thing to accomplish!!!

  • Carol Mergogey

My biggest challenges are space and Ideas. I have enough stuff to sink a battleship. LOL. Thanx for all your great Ideas. They really help.

  • Marcie Smith

My biggest challenge is time. I never seem to have enough. Once I get an idea in my head, I like to work on it from start to finish. Otherwise, I loose my train of thought. I can’t start something, put it down halfway thru and pick it up again a day or two later. I just loose interest and my train of thought that way and I am never satisfied with the outcome. I need a refresher in time management since I have retired and I need to learn to say no to everyone else’s requests on my time. I just need to set aside a specific block of time for what I enjoy doing.

  • Ronnie

Deciding what supplies to use is my biggest challenge. I have so much that it takes an hour or so before I even get started on a project. That’s ok – I love my hobby and it’s my time for “me.”

  • Judy

Crafting space has been my biggest challenge but hopefully we’re going to rectify that soon due to basement flooding during Irene. My husband just bought me things from Ikea to get me organized and working in my own designated area of the basement. Can’t wait till it’s all finished. I’m lucky to have a loving husband who encourages my creativity!

  • Michelle Darby

I get creative blocks sometimes and it really is hard to think of an idea. Sometimes I just need a bit of inspiration to make something. Of course it also doesn’t help that I have a little one that a lot of my time is devoted to! Another years or so and I can start her scrapbooking too!

  • Susan

My biggest issue when crafting is space, I craft on my kitchen table, hmmm, maybe thats not such an issue after all, that means I don’t have to cook cause there’s no place to eat. 😉

  • Moira Efird

    Good morning to you,

This is amamzing, all of the give-aways. Thank you all so much for the opportunity to win. I would have to say that finding quite time to complete projects seems to be the biggest issue for me. Too many interuptions. I keep the desk as a work in progress because of wanting to finish a project. Love my scrap time!!!! Moira

  • Suzie

My main problem is journaling. My handwriting is aweful and printing on the computer is hard to make it fit on my 12 x 12 page. Too time consuming. I now make journaling blocks to print on but then every page seems to look the same. Maybe if I win DVDs or layerz paper it will help me in this dilema!! Thanks for the chance to win Meagan.

  • JoAnne Freeman

My biggest challenge is coordination of colors. I love to make my stacks ahead of time and then add the stamped image. Sometimes I find myself using similar colors over and over. One fun thing I love is to design a dozen or so similar cards to send to Operation write home. That way I practice my copic coloring, use of color or cricut piecing and help a very worthy cause at the same time.

  • Penny

My biggest challenge is working with patterned paper. I would love to learn how to mix patterns so they look nice, not thrown together. Maybe a little help with color coordination would help, too!

  • 3jsmommy

I think my projects go pretty smoothly once I make a decision! Trying to decide between design ideas is often a hurdle and if scrapping- narrowing the abundance of photos down to a managable amount is definitely a challenge- they all just bring back so many memories!

  • scrappinc

My biggest challenge is putting together a layout or card in a timely fashion, it seems to take me for ever to pick the colors and all of the embellishments, I have been working on getting faster.

  • Betty Caspick

Finding images that I want to use, is my biggest challenge. However, since I now have a Gypsy, I guess not having the right cartridge is also a huge drawback. I am a beginner with the Cricut so I have just begun to get carts. Thanks for everything.

  • Lyndsay

My biggest challenge is to find my scrap room. My husband always uses my table to put stuff on when he doesn’t know where else to put it.

  • Jelayne

Its a toss up between matching colors / patterns and using tools. Both can be a challenge for me. Your videos are helping me a lot with the tools. Thanks.

  • Patti

My biggest challenge at this moment is my imagine. I saved and finally got my dream machine only to open it and it won’t cut!!! Makes a horrible racket noise at startup. Did some research and found that there is a button that the carriage is supposed to engage and its missing! Need to contact provocraft. I am so bummed.

  • Lisa

I think my biggest challenge would be to have the courage to mix colors and especially patterns of paper. I see others do it and I love the results, but I always seem to struggle with what might look good together. Thanks for yet another chance to win something wonderful!

  • Tammy

Hmmm my biggest obstacle or challenge in papercrafting is …………….wanting so much to create THE most special item for the person in which I’m creating for that sometimes it can take many many many hours to create something realatively small. It is a super pleasure and my whole heart and tons of prayer is put into it—and I feel very privileged to be able to do so. I pray that all whom get something from me are blessed beyond measure:) Be blessed—-bartlettpair4atmsndotcom

  • Shirley Anderson

Getting my craft room organize. I need new desks and organizing tool. Just move into a new house and cant wait to get my room done.

  • Felicia

    Hi there,
I think my biggest challenge sometimes is when it comes to coordination different pattern papers together. I usually stick to one pattern and multiple solids, but I’m trying to get out of that comfort box. Mixing patterns is tricky but fun. Smooches…

  • Pamela Palm

My biggest challenge is to just sit down and make the card. I think of tons of ideas but don’t seem to sit down and make them. Once I do finally sit down to craft, it is always so much fun and relaxation, I’m wondering why it is so hard to get started?

  • Stephanie Justice

A creative block. I do my scrapbooking chronologically and most pages just flow. I do most all my scrapbooking at crops. But sometimes, I stumble on an event and I have no clue of what I want to do with that page. During those times, I usually take a break and get up and get a snack, chit chat a little more than usual or flip through idea books. Eventually, it all comes together.

  • Joyce C

My problems are many, lack of time and space to scrap, creative blocks, organization, to name a few! BUT – I do love to scrap even tho I’m not good at it, I do have fun!!!!!!

  • Vicki

My biggest challenge would be to give myself the luxury to create! It’s so easy to say “I need to do this or that” first when in all reality, it would probably wait! LOL

  • Gail Sc

My biggest challenge is TIME – making time to get cards created before Birthdays, holidays, etc. arrive – but I love making cards anyway – just seems like there is not enough time to do all I want to do. 🙂 Gail

  • NanetteMT

My challenge has been finding a non-cluttered place to work and being overwhelmed ’cause I just have so much stuff to choose from. My husband thinks we’ve opened a scrapbook store in the house! lol

  • Joanne Austin

It’s hard to stay organized with your stuff when you keep buying more that you just have to have- and then remember where you put it when you want it. Color/sold & pattern paper co-ordination takes the longest once the idea pops into the brain in the middle of the night.

  • Glenda D

I’m spending so much time trying to organize my supplies that I feel guilty when I sit down to have fun and actually use them! Gotta get it done so I know what I have and where it is! Yikes.

  • CathyinMN

I have many challenges when I want to create. One of them is time — finding it and then things always take much much longer than I think they should take to make them look good. Two of my other major challenges are color coordination and locating the materials — I know I have them, but where did I put them last!?

  • Cindy

my challenge in creating is finding enough time. i start projects but can’t seeme to find to finish them as quickly as i would like… i think alot of it has to do with my lack of sketching.. as it is not my strong suit..

  • Melissa Brown

My biggest challenge is finding the time! My two girls keep me so busy that it’s hard to find “me” time so I need to rely on semi-annual scrapbooking retreats to really get things accomplished.

  • Donelda

I need 8 days in every week !! Time is my biggest challenge. I am a busy business owner and wish I had more time for crafting. I can keep the kids, husband and deadlines all happy but need more crafty time !! Crafting is my therapist 🙂

  • Rose Koslfosky!

biggest challenge is working with patterned paper, I tend to love color but patterns with layers seems a forced avtivity rather than creative and natural. Alot of the papers out there appear to be boring to me.then others can make it look beautiful

  • Karen

One of my biggest challenges is that I start a project and when something doesn’t cut right I get discouraged and put the project down and start another one and I end up with unfinished projects. I need to get out of my comfort zone with coordinating solid paper with prints. Megan makes it look so easy. Thanks

  • Eva Laney

My biggest challenge is the mess I make as I am creating grows and grows. Ugh…I have to make myself stop everthing and put everything away and start all over again, lol. as I am sure most of us do. I need a craft room maid, lol.

  • Tammy Grover-Lupold

My challenge use to be my lack of convenience to access all my craftingsupplies and equipment. I purchased a desk from Chandler Creations… It is so awesome… the drawers fit 12×12 paper… there are one inch and two inch and embelishment trays… I have over 65 trays of organized paper by style and color… check out their website!

  • Madeline Griggs

Making up my mind what to create is so hard for me. I guess that would be called “I’m so not creative”. This is why I like your tutorials so much because I can get great ideas.

  • Catherine Leek

My biggest challenge is wanting knowing which embellishments to use and not use. I want to use it all…ribbons, buttons, brads, glitter, sew easy design….you get the picture. My biggest struggle is to only pick a few of those and arrange them well. Otherwise, it is embellishment overload!!!!

  • Debbie

Mine is getting the design in my head, when there is one, ha ha, to work with the papers I have all together. Sometimes the pattern I want to cut is to light for the paper I’m putting it on and then in my mind the card was almost done, but I still have the inside to finish.

  • Pamela Snyder

I used to struggle with size relationships transferring from my head to the paper, but now that I have my gypsy, that’s a breeze. Now my biggest obstacle is often having too many choices of paper, that it takes me so long to sort through it. I guess indecision is my biggest foe.

  • A. Kennedy

I find my craft table gets cluttered so easily, I am constantly changing my stuff around to make it easier to get to my stuff, as soon as I get used to the way it is, I change it.

  • Gingera

My biggest challenge is staying organized. I get busy creating and have my workspace cluttered in no time flat. There has to be a better way to get organized and stay organized.

  • Trena P

My biggest challenge is color coordination. I like solid colors but when I pair it w/patterns sometimes is seems to much, but then I see another project by someone else w/similar designs and it looks perfectly oky

  • Lynne G

My biggest challenge is overcoming scrapper’s block!!! When I get on a roll, I can go for a while but when I get in a rut, it’s hard to get out of. Thanks for all the fun giveaways!!!!

  • Mary

Biggest challenge is not enough room. I live in a two room apartment so space is very limited. But I still love crafting even if it takes longer to clean up than to make my project.

  • Rose

My #1 challenge is my big fat cat Fluffy!I do all my crafting on the livingroom floor & she just loves my cricut,if she not attack the cricut machine, she sitting right in the middle of what I’m working on! But I love her!
My #2 is having money or trying to save for craft supplies.

  • BunnyC

my biggest challenge is deciding the color combinations. that takes me forever, but once I’ve made my decisions it’s pretty much smooth sailing from there.

  • Nadine

My biggest challenge is the space… but that don’t stop me. I would say also, coordinating crazy papers together… I always see these beautiful full colors, different patterns layout, and when I come to do something like that I find it looks weird… would love to know how to coordinate not only plain colors, but funky patterns and colors.

  • Lisa S.

My biggest challenge when creating is deciding on which embellishments to use! I have such a large variety that it’s a bit overwhelming a lot of the time. Sometimes I think it would be nice to be a beginner again starting with the basics–less decision making when you don’t have so much laying around–and the CAS look is very “in” right now.

  • Denise C

Okay I am ready for this product, just put up my first vinyl in my house, it turned out great and had to come up with another project to do. yeah

  • Diana B

I spend the time gathering everything I want to use, planning my project, etc. My biggest block is actually sitting down and getting started. I find that if I get together with my sister-in-law each week I am “motivated” to work on my project.

  • Leanna Mohr

My biggest challenge is founding all the wonderful papers you use for your projects. We are 2 hours from any store that has papers. I download papers from digi sites and than had to get a 12X12 printer but still better than driving 2 hours one way to maybe find the right papers.

  • Chris

Time is my biggest challenge…..teaching full time takes so much of my time at home that sadly,I have very little to spare during the school year for scrapping.

  • Dawn

Sometimes I just get stumped. I sit down to create and the ideas don’t always come so easy:(
Thats why your site and ideas are always so helpful!!!

  • Neesey

My biggest challenge is getting over not having my mojo workin! Sometimes it’s just right on and others thing just look like poo! Hey, it happens.

  • Sandra J

My biggest challenge is keeping my craft room organized. I tend to toss things in there (and so does my family) so when I want to craft I usually end up cleaning and organizing instead.

  • RobertaB

Distractions…either away from my crafting (children, hubby, email, web, birds chirping, laundry) or another crafting project or mess to be addressed.

  • Houselady

As most, I don’t have enough free time to do my card making as i’d like to have. When I do get into my craft room I waste too much time deciding what I want to make, choosing papers, and searching thru accessories that I often run out of time before actually make a single cut. That’s why I need and love your tutorials. They “plant the seed” and that is exactly what I need!
    thank you for your inspiration!

  • Jessie Conger

Okay I have a doozie for you pros!! Mine is a tool issue. I have totally indulged in the wonderful tool “The Gypsy” but, I have hit a snag you can’t move designs/files over to the Imagine icon and take the creations you can weld and stuff and do it on your Imagine. You can’t creat using the Imagine Icon because you lose all your gyspy design tools. Is there some thing I’m missing or is Cricut going to send out updates. Cause I hate that I have to keep my bug to do certain things and just have a small area to create in on the Imagine. I would love to weld my letters and have the Imagine print the colors I pick to color them in with…Told you it was a doozie! Love you guys…Help!!!Plllleeeaaassseee!

  • Cathie Forman

My biggest crafting challenge would have to be lack of space and organization. I constantly have to move things off of my desk to make room to create and I often have to hunt through my supplies to find what I am looking for because I am not completely organized.

  • Jennie

I get together w/ my sister, aunt, a cousin on a monthly basis. We scrap for hours, but I have trouble thinking of new a creative ideas on how to get my pages set up.

  • Jonetta

My biggest challenge is that I have most all of my supplies organized and put away and i forget a LOT of the stuff that I have. I hate to think I am going to have to rip all the doors off my cabinets, but that may be the solution!

  • Shari

My biggest challenge is I have to share the kitchen table so whenever it’s time to eat I have to remove & find a place for all my crafting stuff, then after dinner I can come back. Until we move next year I don’t craft as much. Thanks for a chance to win.
    Be Blessed

  • Tammy B.

    D-all of the above!
Page layouts all seem to end up similar. I stress over matching paper to pictures, still! Or just the right shade, there are several hundred shades of each color, it seems! Then there’s all the embellies I forget I have. Words or journaling is #1 though.

  • Wendy T.

Just coming up with a dang idea for a layout is my biggest challenge! I am not at all creative, so it’s really difficult for me to think of a layout to showcase a photo.

  • Donna N

My biggest challenge in creating is getting my space organized so I can sit down and create. Sometimes I don’t have a inch of table space to use.

  • wendy

Right now my biggest challenge is space! We had some work done inside the house, and way too much stuff was relocated into my craft room, so now I’m very limited on work space. I’m trying to sort as we put stuff back out but that’s taking longer, so my creativity is being limited for the time being.

  • Kai

My biggest challenge is wading through all of my “stuff”. Sometimes I have so much to choose from it’s hard to get started, so I just feel stuck. I want to use it all… and I want to save it all, so I just sit there and look at it. That’s a huge block for me! Once I pick things out and get a plan in my head, though, it’s all good…

  • Crystal

My biggest challenge is using different pattern papers but sometime just going through all of my stuff. Some time you just have to clean up everything and pull out one pack of paper and go from there and work form that one until you are done. If not i think it become to overwhelming

  • Jennie Childress

I’d have to say that my BIGGEST issue is getting going! There always seems to be a million and one things to do around the house before I can actually sit and begin crafting…. and by then, I have total mind block!

  • Yelise

My biggest challenge is my space. I currently scrap in my living/dining room. It’s a complete mess while I am involved in a project. I plan to switch my small office and guest room. Then I will be able to have a room dedicated to my craft.

  • Hailey G

Mine is deciding what cartridge I want to use usually there are just so many cute things you can do that I have a ton of ideas and dont know where to start.thanks for the giveaway.

  • Sue Fulton

My biggest challenge is creative block. That is why watching tutorials or seeing what a creative designer has done helps get me going. Once it happens…I can create fast!

  • Deanna Collins

I have to agree with many here, it is keeping my crafting area cleaned up so I have room to work. I hate to clean up after myself, so eventually I am forced to just sit down and clean up!

  • Gail S

I am always thinking of “extra” touches I could have added like dry embossing, pop dotting, etc. AFTER the fact. Then it’s too late because it is already glued down. I also spend way too much time selecting colors. In general, my projects end up taking at least twice as much time as they should.

  • Jennifer

One of my biggest challenges is Life. With scouts and school and sports and work, (and any kind of a social life with friends) Life gets way too hectic to get much done recording all of the stuff going on. Of course, Life will always keep me with future projects to work on!

  • Heather

The biggest challenge I have when it comes to creating is managing the pain in my body. Eight years ago I was diagnosed with an incredibly painful chronic illness. It has been a real struggle and challenge. But, as I mentioned in another post, I was able to recently set up a craft room and now, when I have some pain free moments, I can go there and accomplish something. I also find that even in pain, when I get absorbed in creating, I can often forget about it for a time. Thanks Megan. When I started setting up my craft room and looking on the internet, your’s was the first site I found that really inspired me.

  • ElaineS

My biggest challenge, like that of so many people – is finding time. When I do make a page, I take the scraps and immediately make a card from them instead of stashing them away for another day. That also gives me another card made up for when I need one in a hurry and don’t have time to make one.

  • Marta V.

I would definitely have to say it’s a creative block and color coordinating. It is really hard for me and that is the reason I rely on my magazines, and DVDs for inspirations. Oh almost forgot, blogs as well.

  • SandyRW

My biggest challenge is procrastination second only to organization, not to mention the fact that I get on the computer and can’t get off. But thanks for all the great tips, tricks and inspiration.

  • Dyann

my biggest challenge is finding the space to pull out all my supplies to work. i use the desk in the family room and i aso have a corner near the desk that has shelves for books bins plastic drawers and etc full (overfull) of my supplies. my hubby says that when one of the kids move out that i will have my own room to work. i have a high school senior who will be attending college next fall. i dont know wheter to be happy for the craft room or sad cause i will not have one of my babies at home with me. s it wrong to be happy!!!

  • Catie

    Hi there
True confession time – my stuff is soooo unorganized – UGH I have to go in and move things areound and get caught up in the cleaning and loose all interest – it is a chore
    Cheers
    Catie

  • Karen

One of my biggest challenges is keeping organized and using what i have already….which is A LOT.How do you keep what you already have fresh in your creative head?

  • Suzanne

My biggest challenge when crafting is when I have a creative block. It’s strange though….I try to start early on my projects especially if I have a deadline, but this is when the block occurs…when I know I still have time. My creative ideas start to flow a day or two before my deadline…how frustrating! It’s seems like I become more creative when under pressure….not good for my blood pressure 🙁
Thank you Megan for everything 🙂

  • Ranita Standridge

My biggest challenge would be the phone! I am in the position of always having to have it on, no turning off the ringer here for me! I get anywhere from 8 to 20 calls a day all of varied reasons. I just wish I could have an hour without the constant interruptions.

  • Holly

Money!!! I want so many things. Copic markers right now are my big thing and getting all the colors I need to do the things I waNT IS KILLING MY CRAFT MONEY.

  • Christina Eagan

My greatest challenge is deciding what embellishments to use since I have so many! What I have found works best for me is to pick a few elements and just stick to them in the layout. Prevents me from second guessing myself and looking for other things but it’s a tough thing to stick to!

  • Kristin

My biggest challenge is getting organized so that I can find everything…I will get a picture in my mind of what I want to do, but it may take me 3 hours to find everything, if I am lucky!

  • Andrea

My biggest challenge is having enough dedicated space. If I spread out I have to clean up at the end of each session in order to use the space for something else.

  • Hillary

My challenge used to be space. But now I have a brand new house with my own craft room!!! Now I just need to find time to get the room set up so I can start creating again

  • Cathy Hartle

I make cards for my family. My biggest challenge is making cards for the guys…not so much the younger ones, but the “tweeners”! LOL I really need some inspiration!!
