(Freebie Friday) Dirtbike SVG and a Special Request 50

Happy Freebie Friday Everyone!

Megan has prepaired another SVG file for you to download today!

You can get this Dirtbike SVG file for free today by clicking here.

Today’s Freebie Friday’s post is brought to you by… Sean! Megan’s hub! Well, it’s not really brought to you by me… Megan did all the real work for you, I’m just posting it on the website today.

The truth is, Megan is in quite a lot of discomfort from some dental issues she’s dealing with right now and asked me to post today’s SVG file for her… She didn’t want to her blog followers down (bless her heart!).

On a side note… I know she’s pretty tired of dealing with this dental issue that seems to keep coming up, even after several major dental work already… She’s being strong and staying positive, but I know she should would just love to know that your thoughts and prayers for healing and relief are with her, too.

Thanks everyone and have a terrific Friday!

Sean

p.s. here is a video that Megan recorded talking a little bit more above SVG files if you’re unsure about them:

I don’t want to sound too too uninformed but I have been trying to figure out what SVG means. I use Cric;ut, Gypsy and my computer for my scrapbooking/card making but I have been trying to figure out what SVG stands for.
BTW, thanks for the DVD on Cricut Expression – I love it and have learned so much.

Donna – I see that others have told you what SVG stands for. As another stated, there are many die cutting machines out there (including the Craftwell eCraft machine that uses no mats). However, you may see that someone may post that they have used their Cricut to cut an SVG file. That is because MTC (Make the Cut) and SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) used to sell software that WAS compatible with the Cricut machines.- like SCAL version 2. However, Provo Craft made these companies stop selling those versions and made them design a newer version of software that WAS NOT compatible with the Cricut. If you have SCAL v.2 (don’t know what the former version of MTC was called) you can still use your Cricut to cut SVGs. If not, you are out of luck. With MTC and SCAL and a compatible die cut machine, you can take any clip art or design of your choosing, including a freehand drawing, and convert it into an SVG or cuttable file. Hope that helps to fully clarify what an SVG file is and how/why it is used.

Megan, you are in my prayers! I can totally relate having just been through major dental surgery and returning on June 26th for even more. Dental pain can be truly unbearable, and my heart goes out to you completely! May God send you healing and relief with all his blessings!

Thanks also for the great SVG. It’s nice to have something “male” to use!

For Donna SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics. Everyone have a great Friday!

Megan I hope you are better. What a sweet husband you have.

Donna you cannot use a SVG file with a Cricut Die cutting machine. You can use SVG files with cutters that accept files from the computer such as a Pazzles Inspiration and I believe a Silhouette. They are probably other cutters out there too that you can use SVG files.

Hi Megan~ I am praying for you and your dental issues. I am praying that if it is God’s will that He will completely heal and take care of this for you. Love you and what you do.

    Megan,
The most important support you can have is that of the Lord, and your family. Without question, you have both in spades! Given how much you dedicate to us, (your readers), I hope it’s clear how much we appreciate ALL you do for us. You are genuinely a bright spot in most of my days. My prayers are with you and your family/friends, as well as your medical team, to help you toward recovery.
    Sean,
You are so wonderful to carry on for Megan, in what is important to her. I hope you can convince her that she needn’t worry about us. It is clear you and Megan are an amazing pair! Thanks to you both, that your partnership is to our benefit!

  • Leslie

Oh Megan, I’m sorry you are having dental issues, they are the worst. I’m praying that you get better soon and feel back to your old self. I love watching your videos and truly miss seeing your smiling face.

    Big hugs,

Hello, So many wonderful people have said so many wonderful things, I can’t begin to try to put it any other way.
God Bless you and hubby. Dental pain is the worst, and I am the biggest baby ever. (As a matter of fact, I am long overdue for an appointment.-have 3 teeth to pull and just recently I noticed A chip in my front tooth near the gumline. Don’t want to lose that one.UGH) Anyway I am praying for you for God to take the pain away from you.
Your hubby is so sweet to take your place! Please do not worry about us. We all just want you at your best. I know you will, with all the friends here and having God on your side!!! xoxo
