Proverbs 27 Friendship is a Gift Bible Journal Page

Recently, I had the pleasure of creating a scrapbook page for one of my dearest and closest friends. It was a truly special moment that I cherished, and I wanted to commemorate it in a Bible Journal page as well. There are so many incredible verses in the Bible that speak to the value of friendship, but one that stood out to me the most is Proverbs 27:9 (CSB), which states that “Oil and incense bring joy to the heart, and the sweetness of a friend is better than self counsel.” These words are so true and I am so grateful for the comfort, prayers, counsel, and advice that my closest friends provide me in my life. Without them, I know that this journey would be much harder. That’s why I wanted to capture this sentiment in a large-format, ombre-style sunset creation using Distress Oxide inks and a best friends stamp, creating the perfect tribute to true friendship. Best Friends Scrapbook Page

It’s difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for my incredible close friends. I’ve been lucky enough to have known this particular girl since we were both in diapers – we’ve been there for each other through every milestone, from changing each other’s babies’ diapers to sharing unforgettable life experiences. Recently, we celebrated her birthday and to commemorate the occasion, I decided to create a scrapbook page using the beautiful Best Friends stickers from the Sawyer collection. Looking back, we shared so many amazing memories, but there was one special day that stood out to me – a girl’s spa day that we enjoyed together so long ago. I’m determined to plan a similar day very soon! Thankfully, I have a wide scrapbook paper stash to choose from and am constantly inspired by the new things I discover inside SheMakes.Club. As for the Sawyer collection, I’m thrilled that there are still some supplies left in the Shop while Supplies Last, including the Sawyer Digital Art Collection.
