Cricut Thanksgiving Place Cards and Gypsy How Tos!

Here is a great video showing how to use one of the new Gypsy updates.

Using multiple pages to layer your projects is such an awesome function to use and really takes your designs to a different level that is so much fun with the Gypsy.  I have spent many many hours playing with it and its SO fun!

Anyway, I show you that with this video and how I made these adorable Name Place Cards/Favors for the Thanksgiving meal.

These are super cute. i must get the newest up date for the Gypsy. I have not done that yet and there is probably more. Happy Thanksgiving

You are really making me want a Gypsy!

    Question:

I noticed that you sometimes only press on the edge of the paper when you apply it to the mat…..
Does it always hold well when you do that? And is that a new mat? Or a re-energized (reglued) one?

I’m thankful I came across this new site.

I’m thinking I should ask for a Gypsy for Christmas! Thanks for the great video!

  • Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 5:02pm

Great idea. One thing, could you also do the same project using the Cricut. I for one don’t have the Gypsy. Thanks a bunch.

  • Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 5:18pm

You absolutely can still just use your Cricut
It’s just the Stamping solutions Cartridge using the Scalloped Frame the scallop frame in black out, 1″ circles and 1 1/4″ scallop circles and you are good to go!

Have fun! I enjoy trying to show a little bit of everything – its’ hard with everyone having different things – you certainly don’t NEED the gypsy to still have tons of fun with your Cricut but I love showing and teaching those who do have the Gypsy how to better use it!
    Enjoy!!! :)
