Britten here today, filling in for a very busy Megan Elizabeth!
When Megan asked me to come up with a Disney-themed project for today’s hop, I knew JUST the photo I wanted to scrap. This picture of my daughter Breena with Donald Duck at Disney’s Animal Kingdom makes me smile every time I see it. But the colors were a challenge, since the characters at the Animal Kingdom wear khaki, safari-themed outfits rather than their traditional costumes. As I was browsing through my massive stash of paper, I came across these beautiful patterns from K & Co. that were muted yet a perfect background for my picture. Figuring out how to dress Donald in non-traditional colors was another challenge…until I pulled my stack of Paper Layerz. Ta-dah! Not only did the colors match perfectly, but I was able to cut him out from just one sheet of Paper Layerz.
Supplies used:
Pattern Paper: K & Company, Paper Layerz by Megan Elizabeth
Baker’s Twine: Etsy
Cricut Cartridges: Micky & Friends, Mickey Font, Bags, Tags, Boxes & More
Punches: EK Success, Tonic

I’m not much of a scrapper at all, Britten, not in the traditional layout sort of way, but your layout is simply the BEST I’ve seen. I love the non-traditional colors you used, how you dressed the duck … all of it! THANK YOU for showing us how to be terrific scrapbookers!
Fondly,
Ellen ♥ CardMonkey

This is a really cute layout, love how you changed up Donalds outfit to match your layout!!
Really a cute project. They look good in any color, but the beiges were really nice.
Love this and the colors are perfect.
Really like this layout. What’s a Blog Hop? I haven’t heard that term before?
My daughter LOVES Donald Duck, so I had to show this project to her right away!
To Joy who asked what a Blog Hop is . . . it is when a group of bloggers all link their posts to each other, and normally there is a theme. So when you go to the end of one post it tells you to go and check out another post at a different blog . . . so you get to “hop” from blog to blog looking at lots of great projects! There are usually great prizes along the way also!
