Thankful Heart Card Inked and Embossing Folder 23

A thankful heart – that’s how I feel when I think about each and every viewer and kind soul that has become a friend through AboveRubiesStudio over the years –

Today I wanted to create a card using A Thankful Heart stamp

I also thought it would be fun to show you something I accidentally discovered as I was playing with inks and techniques.  Inking your embossing folders, and embossed images can give an awesome and great look – but have you ever inked your embossing folder with Versamark?  Check out the cool effect it gives when you ink over top of that again and wait for it to dry!  Check it out!

Still Need to Hear From You!

What’s on YOUR Christmas Wish list this year!  OR – What fun things have you seen that you would like to know more about?!?! Let me know here and YOUR Submission may just show up this 12 Days starting November 28, 2014!!!! 😉 It’s going to be so fun!

My ultimate Christmas wish this year is to simply enjoy the season, especially Christmas morning with my little boy. The joy on his face on Christmas morning is the best gift I could ever receive.

If I had to pick a crafty gift, I’d say CTMH cardstock and paper fundamentals. I’m still building my stash. 🙂

    HI Megan,

    I love this Thanksgiving card.

I would like to see you make several simple Christmas cards with bling. II make a lot of Christmas cards and I need ideas.

    Thanks, Robin

What a fun tutorial! I have everything to make cards except markers. I would love to have a set of the Alcohol markers! Everytime I see what they can do, I am left drooling and wishing! That would make this grandma one happy stamper to have the markers to color all of my stamps in!

Megan, THANK YOU! for showing how your creative process goes!! It is very refreshing to see “oops, that’s crooked, let me fix that” and “if that doesn’t work, we will make it work!”.

Christmas wish…. remember the reason for the season, remember we are all here together and we need to work together, and remember to stop and see the blessings around you!!!

    Thanks again!!!! *hugs*

Thank you for sharing this idea, great information on the embossing folders.
My Christmas is going to be with my children, minus one and his family that are in England, grandchildren and a great grandson.
My wish list consists of the new cricut artsy cartridge, paper packs from ctmh, the new embossing folders of theirs.

I recently retired and have been making mini baby albums. Really enjoy making them. I have just ordered the Cricut Artbooking cartridge – can hardly wait to receive it. The Artfully Sent Cartridge is on my Christmas list. I want to send Christmas blessings to all my family and friends. Wishing everyone the true meaning of Christmas of love and peace.

First and foremost on my Christmas Wish List is that everyone, especially family, experience the presence of Christ in their lives, to feel real joy and peace, and to realize their purpose here on earth. As far as material things, gifts of any kind are always wonderful! I would especially enjoy any of the CTMH Cricut cartridges. Thanks for all you do; it is appreciated. Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas!
