CTO: Ustream Video about Cropped Event and Scrapbands Giveaway! 85

HI, HI, HIiiii! 🙂 (Have you ever seen Little Einsteins? Annie always sings that!) Anyway! Hello!

Awesome fun Ustream tonight!  We have a lot of GREAT things happening especially Cropped Mystery Challenge Event! If you have not read about it yet or watched the Welcome video please visit http://www.CroppedEvent.com

Are you back from CroppedEvent? Good deal 🙂 Now you can watch the LIVE Ustream from last night – a little silly, a little goofy and Uber Dorky, but we had fun chatting about the Cropped Event showing off the new Megan Elizabeth Scrapbands Collection and the new Enjoying the Moments Stamp Set with Tanner Bell Designs!

Scrapbands are NOT available to order yet, but we will let you know soon – this was a sneak peak that they are coming! BUT I have ONE band to give away on this blog post!  Please comment with your favorite part of what Cropped Event is all about! Do you think your favorite part will be the goodies in the Mystery box? Hanging out with your Crafting friends while you participate in event together? Chatting with our Crafting Professionals? Watching the Tutorials and How tos? Weighing in on our Topic Discussions?

What else would you LOVE the CROPPED EVENT to include? Let me know and we will see what we can do!

I think Cropped sounds like a creative concept. I like learning new techniques . Also looking forward to the chance for a crafting weekend without having to leave home.

  • Jeannie

Enjoyed the Ustream tonight! Looking forward to getting my mystery box- hoping I get some of those adhesive squares you have, I have yet to try them. Looking forward to the crafting weekend to be just around a bunch of crafters who get crazy over paper, glue, and embellishments- my friends just don’t get why I go nuts over a new stack pack lol!

  • Toni Addison

Oh I have never done a challenge just a few swaps here and there but am really looking forward to it all!! I am in the learning process but really love the interaction with people. I don’t have someone to go to crops with so I stay home. I do have a freind who will skype with me while we craft together and watch ustream shows. So I am busting at the seams about this cropped program. Just forwarded the link to my freind as well. So I need to order my mystery boxes.

  • Tianna Fonseca

I think that the most fun would b learning new techniques and getting to chat with you and your super awesome crafting professionals!!!

Of course, I’m looking forward to what’s in the box too. So many things are AWESOME about this. Plus – “Chopped” is my favorite show so Cropped is even better!!

I enjoyed the Ustream last night so much. I think my favorite part of “CROPPED” is the mystery surrounding it all! I love the idea of being challenged with supplies someone else has selected, which will make me think “out of the box” – LITERALLY! LOL Thanks for making paper crafting so FUN!! Ordered my Mystery Box last night and can’t wait to get started on the challenges.

  • Margaret K

Thanks so much for all you do. Loved the livestream last nigth.

  • Shawn Mosch

I had SO MUCH FUN at the Ustream! I think the thing I am MOST looking forward to at the Cropped Event is all of the creativity and being inspired by what everyone is doing. Learning new things . . . seeing people use products in a different way . . . and just having FUN creating!

Thank YOU Megan for inspiring us all!
    Hugs!

  • Monica L.

The whole concept of “cropped” sounds like so much fun. I will be purchasing my mystry box really soon. I have never been to any crafting event before, Im just an at home crafter mainly because I dont have any scrapbooking friends that would join me on crops:)lol. “Cropped” sounds like a fun way to meet new people and make new crafting friends:) Thanks for having the Ustream record, I really enjoyed seeing it:)

YAY I just ordered my own Mystery Box!!! I can’t wait for this event. I used to go to cropping events all the time with my friends but I moved away this past year…..now I’m in WI too. Would love to come to the event but will have to settle for joining from my craft room. Can’t wait for the fun and excitement.

    Great Ustream, Megan!

Soooo….anyone want to win an Art Philosophy Cricut Collection set?

Guess what! I am going to be one of the sponsors of the CROPPED event, and I am donating an Art Philosophy set, as well as a bunch of other wonderful Close To My Heart goodies! I’m so excited to be part of this! Don’t miss this Big Event–there will be LOTS of wonderful giveaways!! Megan–are you sure there will be enough time over the weekend of the CROPPED event to give away so much stuff? 🙂

Big announcement… (drumroll please)…Megan’s Hostess gifts are on their way! They should be arriving very soon!!
You have all shown your love and support for Megan in such a big way, that she has LOTS of wonderful goodies coming! Megan–enjoy them all, and when you use them please remember that there are many people who really care about you. I hope that thought will help you get through your surgery and recovery–and that you will soon be pain free and all smiles! Enjoy!!

One more thing–the Giveaway for over $50 worth of CTMH products! I will be doing the Giveaway drawing (using random.com to choose the winner) this Tuesday–July 17, 2012. I’m waiting until then because I’ve been getting requests from people who want to host their own online party and get 5 extra entries into the Giveaway! If you want to host a party too, contact me at craftsluvr@aol.com and let me know. It’s fun, easy, and you can get terrific Hostess gifts!

If anyone meant to put in an order for Megan’s party and didn’t get around to it, it’s not too late. There will be a button for Megan’s party on my website (lovetocraft.ctmh.com) for a few more days. Megan will still benefit from your purchases, and from your party bookings!

I can hardly wait to see Megan’s reaction to all of the goodies you helped her receive! You are all very special!!

  • Nuchi Draiman

    Whoops! I goofed!!

After Part 1 of Megan’s party, CTMH left the JOIN button up for 5 extra days, but this time it’s already down. If anyone has any last minute orders, you’ll have to contact me at craftsluvr@aol.com and I’ll have to put them in for you manually. Sorry about that! 🙂

  • Tiffany

My favorite is just the ideas and energ you get from being around Others who have been doing it for so much longer!? Us newbies really need that!

  • Dawn

Just watched the video of the Ustream since I missed it 🙁
Stupid email problems getting in the way of my fun. lol
I’m glad the doctor figured out your K-stone issue.
We have been dealing with my husbands 14th, 15th and 16th stone.
6/18 I rushed him to the ER because he was doubled over in pain and couldn’t hold anything down.
They tested him and confirmed it. Then they sent him for a CAT scan to see if it was one he could pass.
Well they found out he had an 8mm one blocking his left kidney that needed to be taken care of right then so it wouldn’t cause kidney damage. Since he takes asprin for his heart he couldn’t have it blasted for 2 weeks. They did surgery that night to place a stent. A week and a half ago they blasted it and he has been passing the little guys since then. BUT that’s not all he has 2 other 6mm ones. One in his left kidney and its brother in his right. So they will need to be blasted separately. Poor guy is miserable. He had his 1st one at 17 (yup I was there for it) We have been married 32 wonderful years. Oh my I didn’t mean to go on and on but it sure felt good to voice it.
    Thanks for listening.

I rushes home from my daughter’s birthday dinner so I would miss nothing from USTREAM that night. I am so excited, I already ordered my mystery box. So looking forward to participating in this. You, Megan Elizabeth, made me feel I could. I have never ssent my work in for anybody to see. But my room has a lot of pretty things and all my friends love my cards, or at least they say they do.Of course who doesn’t love to win prizes. I never win things either, just one of thoses unlucky people. At first when you mentioned something big fr the fall, I sent you a message hoping you were coming to Tampa Bay, since I live in St. Petersburg, but this is even beter. I get to talk to professionals, see what others are doing, learning so much more and getting to talk to you. You don’t know it, but you’ve been on our rayer list since I found out about your teeth, what a way to start marrried life! I want a scrapband so bad.I am trying t do a book of my parents, since my mom just died in April, one for each of my 3 children and one for each of my grandchildren. And I really glad you are doing it the method you are doing it. I live with chronc pain and depression and I’m afreaid I might not make it to Tampa if it was there. Actually, the Dr. suggested to get a hobby, and a good friend suggested I do scrapbooking to help get through the depression. I can’t wait to see what’s in the box, you have peaked my curiosity. You are the kind of person I like to be around, so full of God that you just inspire the rest of us to stay faithful. If it wasn’t for God I don’t know what I would do. Sorry this is so long, I’ just so excited. By the way Sept 23 is my sister’s birthday. What a great weekend it will be I’m really looking towards autumn now. Have a blessed day.
    Sandy

    • Darlene Biermann

Scrapbooking is very good therapy for depression.
My sister talked me into doing this when my youngest daughter was murdered by her husband in a Police Department in Fox Lake, WI., on March 11,2007. She has 3 kids.
It really is alot to deal and prosess in my mind, still having bad days yet.
      Take care and God Bless
      Darlene

  • Karla (aka Scrappynut)

These scrapbands sound very interesting! I think I REALLY like the idea of the smaller ones for the Smash books (yes, you have me addicted to them, too! LOL). I can’t wait to get my hands on them, and in the UStream video they looked awesome! ENJOY THE MOMENTS, Megan!

  • Crystal Nichols

I loved the ustream event all kinds of great information. The cropped event will be a blast I am sure. I wish I could attend, but am already committed to scrapbook expo. Cannot wait to hear about it though. Great job for everyone helping Megan put this together.

  • Odie Keith

The best part of a mystery IS the mystery itself!! I am excited about the Mystery Box and all of the How-Tos. I am new to papercrafting but so excited to learn more about it and try al of the new projects.

  • Chris Eagan

Love the intrigue of ‘Cropped!’. I briefly dated the producer of “Chopped” in college & think the concept is great! Congratulations on your creativity in changing genres. But then, I have always been in awe of and envious of your awesome creativity!
    Chris

  • Carmen Elrod

Wow Megan! I am so so excited for the Cropped Event! I have never participated in a group crop or challenge~ I ordered my mystery box and can not wait to see what it is all about! You are so awesome Megan, to think of all of this and make such big fun plans~ even after all you are going through! WE REALLY ARE ALL SO BLESSED TO KNOW YOU! LOVE YOU MEGAN!

  • Alison C

The scrapbands are awesome. I could really use one when I take my scrapbook in progress to a crop. Bits and pieces slide out of my scrapbook in my scrap tote when I am going from one place to another.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Nuchi Draiman

Megan–any sign of your box of Hostess Gifts yet? I received email earlier today saying it arrived at the FedEx office near you. It should be in your hands very soon, if it isn’t already! (I think I may be more excited about you getting all your gifts than you are!) 🙂

Talk about being excited, I feel like I’m about to burst! I don’t even know if I’m supposed to tell you guys about this yet, but I gotta share it with you! I just found out from some consultants who are at the CTMH Convention in Dallas, Texas right now that the new Close To My Heart catalog is out and it has WONDERFUL things in it–including a new Cricut cartridge! It’s called the Cricut Artiste cartridge, and I can’t wait to get it! Like the Art Philosophy cartridge, it comes with 3 coordinating stamp sets and 3 sets of coordinating embellishments, and costs $99. It has 700 images, including cupcake liners, party favors, lots of new 3D items, etc. So EXCITING!!

The catalog also has beautiful new papers in great colors, lots of terrific new stamps (Megan, you’re gonna LOVE some of these!), new storage containers, and even 12″ x 12″ chalkboard paper that’s perfect for the Cricut! YAY!!

Sooo… who wants to be one of the first to own the new Artiste Cricut cartridge? The catalog isn’t officially open to the public till August 2, but I’m taking preorders now! Email me at craftsluvr@aol.com for more info!!

Even better, who wants to book a party, get lots of orders for all the exciting new CTMH products, and earn lots of Hostess gifts?

Most of all, who wants to come out and PLAY? 🙂
