I Totally feel your joy!!! I have the original cricut and the expression and I also had a Gypsy. But when I started getting emails about the joy…oh my goodness. I was so excited. I didn’t say anything to my husband at first. Then closer to my birthday, March 6, I mentioned it. He said how much, I told him and he said go get it. So after our birthday lunch with family we drove over to our local michaels. Our michaels didn’t have the display your store did that was awesome. I wouldn’t have known where to start! But anyway I finally figured out they were at the front so we get in line and finally it’s my turn. We walk up and I say I would like the cricut joy. The clerk got so excited for me she goes to a room off to the side and I hear her say where are the two cricut joys that we had. I hear I don’t see them. She comes out and starts to say they are out. I looked up on the shelf behind her and ask if the box on the shelf was from the display model? She says there it is! Oh my goodness that was a close one. I got the last one in our store. I thought I was going to have to drag my husband to the next closet michaels just like you. But all’s well that ends well. I love it! It is so easy to use. A week later I showed my oldest daughter the machine and she went out and bought one on the way home. Thanks for sharing your story.
