Productive Weekend – Off Topic Post 26

I just have to say how I’m feeling so relieved over the productive weekend I had! šŸ™‚

I am SO inspired for two new scrapbook layouts I am working on, I’m excited for the video I’m editing and going to post tomorrow! šŸ™‚

I also did a little video that I posted on my Facebook page about my both of my baby’s bedrooms!Ā  They had shared a room up till last week, and they now each have their own room and I’m thrilled to have worked so hard on them to get toys organized and out of the living room completely.Ā  They now have a nice carpeted area to play and they are so good at cleaning up after themselves already! šŸ™‚Ā  So happy!Ā  (If you want to watch it, you can visit right here!Ā  My Kids Rooms!)

I have also started the schedule to Club Ruby Designers and Above Rubies Studio Guest designers, so if you submitted work before, expect an email this week with a lot more info – It’s coming!! FINALLY!!!

I just have to say thank you ALL for being SO very patient with me as we’ve been getting over being sick and personal things going on at home.Ā  šŸ™‚Ā  Thank you for those who have been understanding to slower email responses and even things that I mistakenly overlooked.Ā  I’m so very sorry once again!

I’m also VERY excited (to be a little something shiny if I may) that we have a new web design team working on Club Ruby and some exciting things that are coming with that as well! SOOOOO Excited!!!! šŸ™‚Ā  Excited to have the kit all picked out for the first month, and we are still expecting the Mid-May launch – so A++ exciting!

Gypsy A to Z is coming along GREAT post-production is fantastic and this DVD is SO packed full of GREAT info!Ā  If you have a Gypsy or thinking about getting a Gypsy, let me tell you, this DVD is for you, FOR SURE!Ā  Tammy Skinner totally contributing something so great to this DVD to give it a totally different dynamic that is so exciting and fun!Ā  I know you are going to love it, even if you don’t have a Gypsy, I really think you’d like this DVD because of the inspiration and help in deciding if you would someday like to add the Gypsy to your tool shelf! šŸ™‚Ā  If you would like to sign up for updates on Gypsy release or anything, you can still do so by visiting HERE – Gypsy A to Z Early Bird

Went shopping for a few things over the weekend and hit an awesome clearance sale at AC Moore for a few thickers, embossing powder and new Smooch Spritz (soo fun and can’t wait to share!)

So this has been my weekend!Ā  Thank you for allowing me to indulge myself in sharing a bit of my life with you along with the fun and inspiration of paper crafting!!! šŸ™‚Ā  You all are so great!!! šŸ™‚Ā  Hugs and blessings to your day!

Doesn’t a great weekend just put you in the BEST mood? I watched the video on FB, and LOVE what you’ve done with their rooms! I can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for the designers šŸ™‚

I watched the video and like what you have done with the kids rooms. I do have one question about using vinyl on walls. How does it stick with textured walls?

    thanks

So organized! My daughter wants green and Pink polka dots in room. How did you get the dots to look so perfect? I love the vinyl too. That is my next endeavor.

It’s good to hear from you. I totally understand. It gets a little hectic starting something new, taking care of family, and being sick to boot! I’m excited to hear the upcoming news!!!

and I posted before I was finished. šŸ™‚ I’d love to see what you did with the kids rooms. Did you and Sean move your room upstairs then? I know how I feel when I get the kids rooms organized and cleaned up. Though what’s your trick to making your kiddos clean up well? Mine take 2 hours to clean up because they’re so busy playing instead of cleaning. šŸ™‚ LOL

The circles on the wall where painted on by getting poster board and cutting out templates. I used different sized pot and pan lids to make the circles. The biggest circle is the lid to my dad’s turkey roaster šŸ™‚ It was fun to make – I kinda wish I would have bought different colors of vinyl and cit out vinyl circles, but its cool to have paint matching too šŸ™‚

Love the rooms. What a great accomplishment. I love the storage that you have in your son’s room. I know that you said that you got the shelving units at Ikea, but where did you get the bins in the shelves. I need to redo my twins toys and this would be great to keep everything in its place.
