My daughter and her husband, two kids, rescued a dog in Chicago. They neamed him Hunter. He is a real charmer. I think he is a Staffordshire Terrier and now about 6 mos. old. He trained easy and is very spoiled. This is from one who said she would “never” get a dog. Well, guess whos dog it is now? Good luck with your new addition and I know the children will be very close to him.

Thank you for adopting your new family member. I have been a volunteer at our local humane society for six years now and it is such a joy seeing the animals proudly going home with their new family.
BTW, I have a Tucker also (one of 4 fur kids here).

A dog is a great addition to any family. I believe that children need a pet. I have two rescue dogs and I can’t imagine life without them. Now you have something else to scrapbook.

Oh, he’s beautiful! Congratulations! He will add a lot of joy. Thank you for adopting your new dog. We adopted two miniature Schnauzers, one in September and the other in April and can’t imagine life without them. We’d had a mini Schnauzer who lived for sixteen years before them, and he was also a rescue.

We adopted a dog 6 years ago from the Humane Society, she was a wild and crazy girl! We took her to the vet and he told us she was high energy and had a great personality. He was right! Very high energy and we had a rough year with lots of rules, but Sadie is a wonderful dog, loves people and has brought so much love, fun and laughter to our home. Hope Tucker brings you the same! Enjoy!
