Hey Everyone!
So I’m heading out NICE and early this am and praying for no super long flight delay with this snowy crazy weather! I can’t wait to get out to Los Angeles CA in just a few hours (ok when traveling 7 hours seems like an eternity, but still exciting!)
Sean and I are flying to LA today for the awesome and exciting CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) Trade Show. This is where vendors and retailers come to see all of the latest things available for us crafters to use and have fun with at home!
Provo Craft will be out there with their amazing booth and fun things. I’ll be checking in with Tim Holtz, Teresa Collins and many others while I’m there as well!
I will be doing Autograph signings of several DVDs while I’m out there at the Crafter’s Companion Booth, the Scor Pal Booth and Viva Decor’s booth, as well as appearing and doing giveaways at Provo Craft’s Booth!
I will be getting to interview many crafting companies and professionals while I am out there and am scheduled to bring you guys sneak peaks of a few things not even on the market yet, or newly on the market for you to check out! 🙂
So check back everyday and see what we got going on! ClubRubyDesigners will also be getting exclusive behind the scenes looks at many products and designers as well!!! 🙂 Can’t wait!

I know you and Sean are having a grand time in California away from all this snow. Since I have retired as an APE teacher, I’ve been doing quite a bit of snow shoveling (LOL) after my DH does the snow blowing first, of course. Now we are off to help my parents do some snow shoveling. Mom is in her mid 80’s and Dad’s is in his late 80’s, God bless them!

Megan,I wish you nothing but a wonderful time! I have to tell you that for the first time I will be going to my first CHA on April 29th Manchester, NH. Ya, my scrap sista’s are calling me the official convention Virgin this year. They can’t wait to see me when I walk in and see all the vendors for the first time. ( You see I am the nutty one of the bunch) They have been trying to get me to go for years. So Here we go CHA I’m a commin! I plan on having a blast.I have been busy getting myself familiarized with different vendors on line such as your self it has been so much fun. Before I just use to Scrap just to hang out with friends I didn’t realize just how fun and educating this all is. WOW You are truly a God send. What could we do with out you. You are an amazing woman an your staff as well. Thank you so much for all you do.I so appreciate scrapping and crafting so much more. My Husband Bought me a cricut and the video I LOVE IT!!! My Daughter bought me the Gypsy and now she said she will start going to crops with me. So it is all a learning and bonding stage What more can I ask for( Now if I could get my husband to join us hahah) Thank you. I was so blessed to be able to go to CHA in Chicago with my husband and it was so great. The trip was a getaway for us for our anniversary and he wasn’t thrilled with the idea of going to a “Craft Show”, but when he got there he got totally into it and really has a great time there. Praying for your safe travel and, as always, an incredible time. I do wish I was there too!!

I hope you took your Gypsy on that flight, 7 hours is a long time. I know how it feels. When I travel to Portugal in the summer it’s about 8 hours. Last year my Gypsy made the hours just fly by. Enjoy CHA and I’ll be looking forward to all your have to share with your followers.

I am so happy that you get to go to CHA, I went the last two years. And had total craft overload that I absolutely loved. I came home and bought new products home to use and share with friends. Fun I wish I could just see all of the goodies for myself! While you are in California you must eat at The Cheesecake Factory! Go Hungry! Its not even about the cheesecake the food is great and a Southern California icon. Enjoy! The weather is beautiful here (right now) so you should enjoy some of our California Sunshine too!

I just started using my cricut and scrapbooking. I have a new grandbaby, Madison and a yorkie, Emmie, both I love dearly. I dress the yorkie, (she has at least 60 outfits), and go the the nursing home to see grandma. We love pictures. Can’t wait to get into crafting and scrapbooking to document the growth and times of my family and friends.
