How to Make a 3D Window Card with Punches

Hi Friends!

Hope you are all having a great Tuesday and enjoyed a wonderful Labor Day Holiday yesterday! :)   I had a BLAST scrapbooking and cardmaking without cameras or anything – just a little me time was really nice! :)   I got four layouts done and two cards – of course I did take pics with my iPhone so maybe I’ll share later … but for now!

I have a really cute card that I made using:

  • Kaiser Craft Hippie Chick Paper
  • Martha Stewart Circle Cutter
  • Martha Stewart 3-in-1 Butterfly Punch
  • Paper Trey Ink Sentiment Stamp
  • We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper
  • Viva Decor Glitter Liner

This card was really simple to create but gives a fun professional 3D effect which is always great.  We used the Martha Stewart Circle Cutter to create “windows” in the front of our cardstock patterned paper.  We also folded the top corner of our paper on the front of our card to give an extra element of interests, which is always great to do with cards.

Hope you enjoy this video and check back everyday Tuesday as we continue to put out our Tuesday Tutorials :)

Love it and I have used my circle cutter in the same way – sometimes a lot easier and faster than the cricut as you can decide on the size right away if you don’t like it – Keep the ideas coming – Love your Blog!!! Love it!
