Sharing another project I made for the SWAP I was in.Ā I took a decorative shoe box and decorated it further š
Also – Locals to Crafts Direct in Minnesota – Take note! (see below)
Using the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge on the Tallball creative feature I cut out the phrase “There is nothing worth having if you can’t share it with others”.Ā To line up the vinyl – I used simple blue painters tape right from the backing and adhered right to the top of my box.Ā If you aren’t sure what I mean – I did a video on it a long time ago you can watch it HERE. I also used brown rub-ons for the front label to say “enjoy”.
Decorated with white flowers that I inked in matching colors and used Viva Decor Pearl Pens in Green and Sunny Yellow to bling it up! š
Inside the box – I FILLED it with goodies – I made a CD of some of my favorite Scrapbookin’ Tunes and made a little CD Sleeve for it.Ā I also included a Copic, Stickles, Viva Pens, Embellishments, Vinyl, Ribbon and loads more….
Aren’t all these goodies fun?!?!
I hope that inspired you – maybe you have some extra goodies laying around your scrappin’ area that you can share with someone else…Sharing Swaps are ALWAYS fun š
I’m so excited to share that I am going to be heading out to Minnesota the 27th, 28th and 29th of THIS month!Ā I am going to be teaching and helping with the Gypsy and Viva Decor Products at their swarm event and I will also be at the store a lot on Saturday … so if you’re in the area – PLEASE stop by and see me! šĀ Would love to chat!
Looks like a fun box of goodies and beautiful to boot! Gotta love that painter’s tape:o)
Tfs Megan, just as you can use different brands of paper in the cricut, can you use brands of vinyl other than provocraft too and do you notice any difference?
Thanks again
Jeanette

This is such a great idea Megan. I have several things that I have either accidently bought two of or some things that I have just never used.

Very Cute!!
What a neat idea. I have a niece-in-law who is a cancer/stroke survivor and this would be a great gift/surprise for her.
Great idea. Thanks again for your sharing your wonderful creative ideas.
I use vinyl on the spines of my scrapbooks when I complete them so that I know what scrapbook is about.
I really need to get some vinyl and try it out. I think you have inspired me! I think I’ll go out at lunch today and pick some up and give it try this evening. Thanks so much Megan!
You forgot “except your good scissors”!! I love the box and the sentiment though.
Oh how I wish I were your swap partner! The stuff inside sounds nice, but the box calls my name. (Yes, really!) Guess what at least some of our Christmas gifts will be presented in this year??? Thanks for sharing one more great idea!
What an awesome idea. I haven’t used any vinyl yet, but I’ve been wanting to try, I’m almost brave enough now. LOL I would love to get involved in a swap, that would be fun and exciting.

good for you Megan on your DVD. Have fun.
Vinyl is very easy to use. Now you have me motivated, not just boxes though, I have a ton of things that I just need to label–storage, etc. Thanks.
