Birthday Cricut Creations with Bensen’s Help

03 February
Wednesday, 03 February 2010 10:51 Written by Megan Elizabeth 80 Comments

This is only a month past due posting, but I thought, better late than never!

Jenavieve turned One right before Christmas, so Bensen and I made her a little crown with the Cricut.  Thought you might like to see some pictures of Crafting with Bensen and the Cricut :)

DSCN0323

Bensen Loved to Cut! :)

DSCN0327

We selected “Bithday Girl” and the Tiara  from Storybook Cartridge

We used Best Ocassion Glitter Cardstock of in Pale Yellow for the Tiara Base.

DSCN0333

Cut out Birthday Girl and the #1 with a Scallop Oval in Pretty Patterns from DCWV Glitter Stack and Best Occassions Pink

DSCN0335

I also had Bensen “Make” Jenavieve a Card using a 12×12 sheet of paper that was left over from the Tiara! Always thinking in 12×12!! :)   This way after the party I could scrapbook him putting stickers and drawing on the paper along with the Tiara we made for her – always preserving every moment of this amazing journey that I can! ;)

DSCN0337

DSCN0345

Here is it!  The Scallop at the top I let Bense “draw” on to give it that cool background – it was just Pink Cardstock.  The “gems” on the crown are from Viva Decor – I used blobs of Glass Effects and Pearl Pens to give it big huge gem look.

This was a lot of fun! :)

Thanks for taking a peak! Enjoy those moments and Always think in 12×12 ;) ;)

Your son’s so adorable, he must feel like such a big brother helping make such a cute crown for his baby sis. Enjoy them to the max, while you can. Time really really flies. My son is 16 and daughter 13, I feel I’m loosing them already. Memories are great, but Scrapbooking the memories helps keep them more close to your heart. You relive the moments again, and again! Thanks for sharing!

So cute. It is so nice of benson doing something so nice for his sister. My grandsons lack 3 days being exactly 2 years apart. They are 3 and 5. The 5 year old just said this past week that since his brother is NOT a baby anymore he doesn’t hate him anymore.
Maybe now I can get some cute pictures of them together. (we do have a few but not many)
