This is such heart wrenching thing to be watching happen and having nothing I can do but keep reporting and praying! 12 years of hard work and building this page and community of nearly 30,000 amazing followers and someone else just stole it and I can’t seem to get it back. I just have been crying and praying somehow this will get resolved and that anything that these people put out on social media AS ME doesn’t actually reflect on me!
Please help me spread the word and report and help others know whatever they post IS NOT ME! Above Rubies by Megan Elizabeth belongs to me and I really hope Facebook can help me take back control! Every Report and help post we can think of and know about has been filed with Facebook and currently the page has been taken down from public view. So my prayer is, Facebook will resolve it, but, I know that process takes WEEKS!
I am using the tools and resolve I have to rebuild and I really need YOUR help to make that possible!
I am doing what is in my power to pick up pieces and restart my Facebook world! I have started TWO Pages that ARE ME! Please follow and spread the word. Here is the initial reaction and explanation video I COULD do when Ownership notification first came through. I was able to go live through my Husbands account because I had made him an administrator of this account. I didn’t give anyone my passwords or fill in any suspicious links, but yet somehow, someone else was able to gain ownership and remove me as an admin from my own original Above Rubies by Megan Elizabeth Facebook page.
As you can see, There is a new page owner and new Page Roles listed. I am on there as an Analyst, but they removed Nate, my other account and Katina who were all Admins. I don’t know Thalia or Sams and both accounts have been reported as well. Again, Facebook I’m sure CAN sort this out, eventually…but I really felt it was best to just start rebuilding and bounce back better and stronger as The Real Megan Elizabeth
There must be something else out there that is safer than Facebook!
So I am moving towards other options also! However, I did find out, that what was hacked, was actually my Google Chrome Password saver. So Facebook itself wasn’t the security issue, Google was! So sad an unfortunate, but rebuilding as I always do! So thankful for the support and comment!
Leave Facebook! If your account was hacked there wasn’t any security. Why would you stay there? Your never stuck there are other options. I went to Mewe. Start your transition now! You can do this.
