A Little Easter DIY with a Craft Attitude Hop! 4

Normally I would have a video sharing this amazing Craft Attitude blog hop with everyone, but I’m getting ready to have baby Gradyn and wanted to get this project complete and part of the first day of  wonderful fun, inspiration, creative Craft Attitude Easter HOP!

Craft Attitude Easter Eggs

For todays Easter Project I thought it would fun to do a little personalization and a fun DIY Canvas!

Here’s whatcha gotta do to recreate all these fun things!

How to make

  1. 1 sheet of Printable Craft Attitude Film
  2. Any home inkjet printer and pictures or art you want to printer – literally ANYTHING you want to print!
  3. Adhesive, simple glue stick, or adhesive spray works awesome too!
  4. Scissors
  5. I am using Paper Mache Eggs already colored, but you can use wooden eggs, actual hardboiled eggs, glass eggs, pretty much any material you could stick something to!
  6. Plain 8×10 canvas
  7. A little glimmer mist

Flip in PicMonkey

I use a internet based program called www.PicMonkey.com to create images and flip them – which is what you will need to do with any image you wish to print on Craft Attitude film.

Flipped Easter Icons

I used PicMonkey.com to create a two whole printable sheets, including the kids names, fun icons, easter eggs, little chicks and a Bible verse for my canvas!

Print Craft Attitude Flipped This is what the film looks like printed on and you will place the image facing the correct way on your materials – and the awesome thing about CraftAttitude – it’s literally ANY Material – and the clear film takes on the texture, look and feel of whatever you apply it to!

Just peel the film from the white backing sheet, place adhesive onto film or directly onto your material!

Howto Glimmer Mist

Before I adhered my film down I misted my Canvas with Glimmer Mist in Rum Punch and Silver Sugar – just a few quick sprays right onto of the canvas.

Adhere down

I also wanted to create a set of coordinating Easter Eggs to go with the fun little canvas art.  So I simply printing names, icons and more flipped onto Craft Attitude film – cut out each little icon, a little bit of glue stick and viola!  Lots of customized eggs!

Megan – Congrats on the new baby and best wishes for an easy time. I love this project and I just recently purchased the craftattitude sheets for a different (whole sheet) project. Do you happen to know if, since the sheets are printable, they can be used in the Silhouette Cameo in a print & cut? That would be really cool if it works! Thanks in advance…
