Oz Inspired Wall Art Decor with Silhouette Cameo

We just got back from seeing Oz the Great and Powerful in 3D on Sunday and right away I HAD to come home and make a wall quote

OzTheGreatPowerful

using Square1 Masterpiece (alternative to vinyl) and my Silhouette Cameo!  You’ll have to excuse that this video doesn’t possess the most professional filming qualities.  I’m sorry about that but I am so excited about how awesome this project turned out in my hallway!

This video I’ll show you how to Weld with the Silhouette Cameo Studio software and cut out Square 1 Masterpiece and the settings you will need.

Megan, I really like this project and I always enjoy watching your videos. I does not matter if it is professionally done or just personal like today’s video. You inspire and these simpler videos are very warm and friendly. It is like being there with you, sharing time as a friend. Thanks for your ideas.

  7. Carole C. says:

I always enjoy your videos. I have learned so much from them. I also would love to see a weld video for the cricut. Thanks for your dedication

I also enjoy your projects and videos. And I too would like to see some training on a gypsy. I don’t have one and have been debating about whether or not it’s worthwhile and secondly if I could master the techniques. Thanks for your positive energy.

  11. Charity Brown says:

Question, you said you don’t have to use a cutting matt when using the square one…does that work for the cricut as well or just the cameo?

  12. Lee says:

Awsome! It looks so great om the wall! Thanks so much for sharing!

  13. Barbara says:

Can you please show how to do these types of things using the Cricut Expression? Thanks a lot! Love your project!!

  14. Beth says:

What a great project and one that I wish I could recreate. I don’t have a cameo yet but when I get one I really hope to create this project for my daughters room. She loves Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz she has ever since she was 2. We also just took her to OZ the Great and Powerful which she loved. Thank you so much for sharing this project.

  15. cathy says:

  16. Melissa says:

    Very nice.

  17. Katherine says:

Thanks for the video Megan. I really liked the ‘real life’ quality. I have some blank walls where I’ve been thinking of putting some vinyl. You’ve inspired me to “getter done”.

  18. Steph says:

I really wish you would think about making a dvd on the cameo like you have for the cricut. I could really use one, because I am not getting the info off of youtube, in order to use my cameo .

  19. Kathy M. says:

    This is sooo cool!!

  20. Amy Saxon says:

Oh how your ROCK girl!! I love this!!! I am REALLY wanting to get some square 1 now :-)
