I filmed this video last week at the same time as the Once Upon a Princess Cricut Cartridge video, and thought I would share this way I used some of the left overs with you.
I really made it up as I went with this video and thought it could be fun for you to watch as I just make mistakes and do what I can to still make it cute. Of course, this isn’t always the way I like to work, but thought it could be a very fun side for you to see.
In this video I talk a lot about the “In Colors” from Stampin’ Up, they are going to be rotated out very soon, and I LOVE these colors, so if you are interested in them, I would really recommend contacting a Stampin’ Up Representative, my friend Tammy White, is willing to help you out too…if you are interested in these colors before they retire.

Thanks for the tips on leftovers. Very cute card! I keep my scraps in a plastic zip-loc bag and go to it when I want to make a really fast card!

Last year when I began this wonderful hobby I actualy bought packages of scrap paper not realizing I would wind up with drawers of it after awhile! Oh well, at least I have scraps of nice cardstock in colors I don’t ordinarily have. Your card looks so cute and easy. I like the ribbon tied to the strip on the side.

Cute little card! My problem is I have so many embellishments I can’t get myself to make a simple card without Stickles or brads or buttons… and then it isn’t a “simple/quick” card anymore.

wish I would take time to make cards more often. I do have a ton of scraps. And using stamps personalizes it so much.
I love to see how other people create and solve challenges lol. (I call it Card 911, I’ve been working on a post about it for my blog).
I save my scraps too. I even use the outlines from some of my cuts. They make cute tags and you can stamp your message inside. Keep up the good work.

You inspired me to use some scraps. I made 11 cards this week from scraps only. I could make many more with the whole box of scraps I still have. Can’t seem to throw a piece of paper away.
I always enjoy your site and your great ideas. I have a question for you and for your followers: what is the recommendation for the best permanent adhesive? I have struggled through testing several and have not found a great one. Can you share your experiences? Thanks
One suggestion to share: I save the outlines when I cut shapes and words from my Cricut expression. These are great for sponging designs on pages and cards. I just cut a soft sponge into several pieces and use them over and over. I especially like to lightly sponge words (love, family, home, etc) as a background and then I assemble my page or card as I would with patterned papers. Love your site!

Glad to see so many people DO keep there scraps! I have always done this and keep them right on my craft table in a container so I can pull something out to use easily. Cute card, cute hair and as always, great video.
