Hey Everyone!
Hope you are having a FABULOUS Tuesday! This is probably the last “Tuesday Tutorial” until after the New Year. I will be checking in and posting fun things, Club Ruby will still be going strong and sales will still be rolling, but Tuesday Tutorials will resume again in 2011! I can’t believe its just around the corner!!!!
For today’s video – I used the kit from ClubRubyDesigners for December and I have been doing a series at www.ClubRubyDesigners.com for a week using nothing but the kit and the Winter Frolic Cricut Cartridge to make cards. I thought I should share one of those cards with everyone at AboveRubiesStudio.com and make extra videos with this cartridge 😉
It really is a wonderful Christmas time cartridge for tons of winter fun and even a beautifully cute nativity on that cartridge which I love! Many great sentiments and sayings and I hope that you enjoy all that you see in this video! 🙂

Lovely card! Hey, I just wanted to share a tip for adhering all those tiny little pieces. I use awesome tweezers by Tweezer Bee!! They have a great precision point tip that makes applying small pieces so much easier!!

Very nice card! I have a question for you. I noticed you cut all your different colors at the same time on the mat. How do you do that? Do you stop after each one and move the blade over?

Megan, Really cute card!!! Also wanted to thank you for the cricut cutting guides, they have made it so easy for cutting the different cardstocks on the cricut. Beautiful job!

I would love to see more ideas using pictures for an album with 4×6″ pockets. I want to make a mini-page scrapbook for each of my pictures and would like to use cricut cartridges. Thanks.
I use my XYRON create a sticker for those little pieces. Makes it very easy and less stressful.

Really, really cute card. Megan. Just received the Winter Frolic cart and haven’t used it yet. Made most of my cards and sent them out. But I will definitely use this one sometime this season. It is so cute. Thanks for the video. Have a wonderful Christmas and healthy happy New Year.

You are so talented. I am going to make this one today. I love it. A tip for gluing down very small pieces, use a straight pin for picking up and placing pieces where you want them. Works like a charm.
I did enjoy this very much, now that the Holidays are officially over we can still do this to send as just a “Friendship Card”!
