Hey Everyone,
Just trying to post a few pictures of projects I’m working on here and there. Here is a new scrapbook two page layout that hopefully can give you some inspiration!!!
All animals are from the Give A Hoot Cricut Cartridge and the Paper is from Earth Love collection by Cosmo Cricket. I absolutely love that paper line, especially for this Spring! You should check it out and give me comments on what you think about it! 😉 You can view it HERE if you want to.
Anyway, Basically this layout took me about 45 min or so to cut out and layout. I used my Gypsy to layout each of the layers of the animals and the tree. I inked almst EVERY edge of this layout with my sponge brush and both Chocolate Ink and Crushed Curry ink from Stampin’ Up.
The Owl on the upper left is cut at 2 3/4″ all layers making sure that “Real Dial Size” on your Cricut is off. (You want those layers to line up perfectly so make sure you aren’t using Real Dial Size. That goes for all the cuts with layers in this layout.)
The Tree and Bunny in the lower Left is cut at 5″. I used a white gel pen to add stitching around the green tree and added Soft Yellow Viva Decor Pearl Pens to add a little bling.
The precious little Dear is cut at 2 1/4″ all layers and I used my sponge brush to ink the Kraft Cardstock used for the body to add a furry look.
The blue bird is cut out at 1 1/2″ and used pop dots
The cute little kissing squirrels are cut at 2 3/4″ and inked up just like that dear.
I hope this gave you a little inspiration and have a WONDERFUL day! I’ll see you on Tuesday for another Video Tutorial and Friday April 15th is another Episode of Fresh Look Friday. Friday’s episode talks about Money Saving Organization Tips, New Favorite Paper Lines, Some Great Tools I recently discovered and a few of My Favorite things. We also have a special shout out to several viewers at home and can’t wait to hear what you all think! 🙂
Wonderful layout and oooooooo that paper! I do love Cosmo Cricket. Sometimes it’s so pretty it’s hard to use, but I’m trying to get over that :D. TFS!
I have that cart, but haven’t used to a whole lot. Thanks for the inspiration…love the animals will have to get it out and USE it :)))
I like the paper and thank you for the sight to view it, it is very prety paper.I don’t have the Give A Hoot cart, but have found some suitable ones to use from what I do have.
By the way can anyone tell me who won the cricut imagine that I am sure we all entered to win?
I am heading to our ‘Cricut Club’ on Monday night, so long as I get out of here and finish my assignment… so might try out my Give a Hoot. I have loaded all my cartridges into my Gypsy but with my studies in full assignment mode have not had time to play. I love the little deer and the owl. My mum had a Bambi figurine that was always a favourite and the little deer is reminiscent of that.
Hopefully by tomorrow I will have handed in the current 2 assignments and will have a few days breather before the next is due…the joys of studying!!! Craft still beckons but is sadly on the back burner for now.
Have not been doing any scrap pages, but tons of cards and love that. I have the Give a Hoot, but haven’t used it yet. Will incorporate that into a card real soon.
WoW!!! Love it!!!

I love this Lo I don’t have this cart but maybe I will have to buy for thoes cute squirels.
Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. What a beautiful spring layout. Love the colors and the paper. I don’t have that cartridge, but sure I am able to find one that would work. I need to use what I have instead of thinking that it will not look as well unless I use the cartridge or cartridges shown on the layout.
Darling layout! I look forward to the tips in the Fresh Look Fridays 🙂
I have Give a Hoot and seeing these layouts makes me want to get it out, stop making cards and start scrapbooking. Can’t wait for Fresh Look Friday.
