Christmas Cards I Made This Year

16 December
Wednesday, 16 December 2009 21:38 Written by Megan Elizabeth 30 Comments

Alright, you ready to see a whole lot of pictures?

I didn’t do a video on these because I spent my time enjoying making these with my best friend ever for crafting, scrapbooking, playing with our Cricuts and watching movies….

But I wanted to share them anyway!

We’ll start with the Christmas Peppermint Delight Cookies that are MY FAVORITE!!! Yummy!

COokies

These are some finished pics of the “Tree Cards” made with those lego blocks for embossing stamps.  I made about 18 of these cards all together…

Tree Cards

These two were my FAVORITES this year for Christmas cards, I made a bunch of them and they are from A Child’s Year Cricut Cartridge, which I can not tell you enough how much I LOVE that cartridge!!! :)   I used Tim Holtz Liquid Pearls to accent these with the metallic shines they have, and I think they are just perfect!

These are for the “boys” in my family, my family is a family of skiers!  I think my dad had us on skies before we could walk ;)   So I made these three from Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge, used some frosted lace Stickles for snow, and called it a card!  :)

Some more simple cards, I made a lot this year, so I kept them simple and sweet, like these snowmen cut from Winter Woodland or the Snow Flake Christmas Tree Ornament from Target

Finally,

A very VERY simple card that I just couldn’t resist making! Have I mentioned how much I love A Child’s Year???

Ok, well that is a little look at the collection of cards I made with Becca this Christmas season!  I should see if she took pics of hers I should post them ;)

Have a great night…

I do want to mention, with Christmas next week, you may only see one video between now and the New Year, we are gearing up for a LOT of fun and Exciting things here, but I still want my family and Christmas with them to come first :)   Hope you all understand and look forward to Friday and then a little time “off” :)

Hi Megan. I’m looking forward to Friday. With all you have been doing lately, you should take a break. My family comes first, so I certainly won’t hold it against you to do the same.

Those are such cute cards Megan! Thanks for sharing. I just got my “Child’s First Year” cartridge. I wasn’t gonna get it but after seeing what all you did I changed my mind. After looking through the book I’m amazed. It didn’t do it justice looking at the picture of what it does. WOW! Glad to hear you’re spending time with the family, ENJOY, you never get those times back again! Much love, God Bless and Merry Christmas! Jen

Perfect! I just promised my mom that I would make her an assortment of cards to have on hand for thank yous, birthdays, etc. and was hoping to glean an idea or two from a layout page and low and behold you have a bunch of cards right there for me!

I want to know how to attach that ribbon in the last pic, can’t quite tell how you did it (and my use of ribbon at this point has been lacking).
