Mo-Vember Scrapbook Layout Tuesday Tutorial 10

Hello My Tuesday Tutorial Friends!

Did you all know there is actually a PURPOSE behind the “Mustache thing”?  At least for Mo-Vemeber – so with all of us out there giving support in October for National Breast Cancer awareness month – Mo-Vemeber represents the various male forms of cancer awareness.

This Tuesday Tutorials uses some really cute items and my inspiration actually came from some all new ribbon I just picked up this week and I couldn’t wait to use!  A few mustaches, some Square1Masterpiece for fantastic photos, Viva Decor US Pearl Pens and more!  Enjoy!

On a heartfelt personal note side!

I also recorded this short video in my car yesterday.  I had received several emails this weekend mixed with my own hearts aches that just brought me to a place of tears and prayer for every single one of you that follow Above Rubies Studio.  Even if I don’t know you in person or by name, your heartaches, depressions, financial struggles, losses, all of it, it matters and you are still loved! I just wanted you to know that!  I want to encourage everyone who reads or watches this to just take a few minutes today to pray for those in need and hurting. To encourage someone by showing a little grace and love even if you don’t believe in the God that I believe in with my whole heart. Share this with others you feel need to hear it I will spend 1 hour a day the rest of this week praying for those hurting and struggling.  Depression is real, financial struggles are real, desperation happens, but there IS hope! There is always a way!  I would love to help you anyway that I can!  I can help share tools with you to earn extra sources of income, I can pray for you, I can do my best to recommend other resources as well! You are loved!

The heavy paper that you used is it World Wind Paper – Twist or Whirlwind Paper – Twist? I have watched the video several times and cannot tell. Where did you get it. I have tried searching for it but cannot find it.

I had wondered the background of Above Rubies-now I know. What a great name…Thanks for sharing….
There is so much need/sorrow in the world-Typhoon Haiyan is plowing toward Palau for a direct hit about 1pm EST. “Then on to the capital of the Philippians (home of 12 million people who were just soaked with a tropical cyclone and had a 7.2 earthquake).Typhoon Haiyan rapidly heads toward maximum intensity — probably Category 5+, and nothing can stop it.”…..Our friends live in Palau and our daughter has been to an optometry mission trip to the Philippines-there are so many barely holding on to life and now this…Will be praying for you and those you are also praying for.

Megan- I have been praying for you also- for what all you have been through and for your pregnancy now! I have 4 kids and just went through a divorce myself. It is not something I EVER imagined that I would be a divorced woman! So, I know all of the emotions that you are speaking of. When I am anxious about how I am going to make it, I am comforted by knowing that I have a God who loves me and has seen me through tough times. I pray that sense for all who have not known that comfort.
Blessings on you today and always!

    Megan-
I just finished praying for you and for those who are hurting. Megan, I want to affirm you and encourage you for following that Holy Spirit hunch and laboring in prayer for others and for the short video you made in the car. You may never know the eternal investment, but the Lord knows. Your craft projects are great, but I have thought from the very beginning of watching your videos that you used to do when you crafted in your attic, that there is something special about you and this calling you have. The crafting part is fun, but I think the Lord is using you in many unseen ways. You have a tender heart and I want you to know that I pray for you from time to time and will pray more. Blessings on you, Megan. Remember what Elisabeth Elliot used to say on the radio, “You are loved with an everlasting love and underneath are His everlasting arms.” Stand Firm, sister in the Lord. ~Liz in PA

    Megan,

I cannot thank you enough for your personal video. I just turned on my computer, when the telephone rang,
and it was my doctor with some not so very good news. It seems the bones in my cervical spine are crumbling and the main nerve is twisted. This is the third spinal surgeon I have seen. They tell me that surgery is out of the question and would not help. So for now I will see a spine surgeon who specializes in pain management. I was starting to put myself on a real pity party when I opened your video. You cannot begin to know how much it blessed me. I am a Christian. I love my God more than my scrapbooking and trust me, that is a lot. LOL! It was meant for me to hear your personal video. Truly amazing how God orchestrates others to helping others. He is amazing and yes he does work in mysterious ways. LOVE IT !

I pray for you daily and ask that God continue to shower you with His many blessings. You mean so much to all of us. What a special gift He gave us when He gave us you Megan. You truly let your Christian light shine through.

I will be praying for all ! For now I am sending hugs to each and everyone. I hope all of you feel it, I am squeezing very hard. Many hugs back to you Megan. Your children are so blessed to call you mommy.
Your followers are so blessed to call you friend.

Thank you for your video. It was a big dose of medicine that I needed.

    Love, Hugs and Smiles!

Megan, I pray for you also! You are so sweet and giving! Even tho I am a diabetic,,,under control…
I still consider myself very lucky with a wonderful supporting husband. (for me and my very expensive hobby!!!) I, too, pray for this world of trouble and people who suffer physically and mentally.
Thanks you for such a meaningful video. You are a darling person! So glad to have found you quite awhile ago and trying to support you in any way I can. You are a strong beautiful woman and I wish the very best for you. Keep us posted on your doings.
    A cyber friend. Arlene

    Hi Megan,

I just wanted to tell you how much your personal video touched me. As you’ve probably read over on the Square1 Consultant FB page, after having my 6th broken ankle 2 weeks ago, I then underwent a procedure to trial a Neurostimulator implant to try to relieve even a portion of the daily pain I suffer with from my eleven failed back surgeries, now even more compounded with a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. Anyway, there was a complication during the implantation of the trial device which has left me in even more pain (hopefully temporarily!!). It has been a hell of a couple weeks & your video appeared just at the right time to let me know I’m not alone. I have always felt the love & support from this crafting community of ours & it really does help lift me up. I’ve been concerned for you & all you’re going thru right now (WOW!!) & I have to tell you it’s wonderful to see you looking so well, especially with all the pressure you’re under!! Thanks for all you do. I tell you from my heart that it is much appreciated!!!

Great scrapbook layout, Megan , and I loved your other video too. It’s so nice of you to share your faith and to take the time to pray for and encourage your followers and friends. I’ve been a follower of yours and Above Rubies Studio for many years now, because I love your crafts of course, but also because I love your personality and the way you share from your heart. Thanks for all you do to encourage others.
