24 July
Saturday, 24 July 2010 00:43 Written by Megan Elizabeth 21 Comments

I was so happy to be told about this little article today – and now I just feel the need to pass it onto all of you ;) ;)

Trisha over at 1/3 Chicklet has written an article for Gypsy users….and well…Ok ok – she talks quite a bit about the Above Rubies Studio Gypsy A to Z DVD :)

So if you are interested, please go on over and see what she feels Every Gypsy Owner Must Read! :)

Thank you so much Trisha for sharing this with us – we truly feel blessed and can not wait to be able to share more educational DVDs with crafters everywhere! :)

Speaking of which….our third DVD is in post-production right now and is scheduled to be released end of summer 2010 :)   and soon after we will have our 4th DVD that will be filmed in August for release in fall 2010!  :)

So thankful for each one of you and your support!!! :)

Trisha represents many of us who have a Gypsy and are a bit confused and frustrated with its capabilities. Do I really need one? Will I use it? YES! And your Gypsy DVD is certainly an essential part of the whole package. Hey, Provo should buy them from Rubies Studio and include them in all the Gypsy packages! What are the NEW DVD’s going to cover, Megan?

Wow, I need this because I too am scared of my Gypsy. I have tried several times to use it but usually end up frustrated because I don’t know what I’m doing. (shhh….I’ve had my Gypsy since they first came out.)

Hi Megan………I haven’t been around a lot because keeping up with my own little things but I always think of you.

I did too read Trisha’s review of your DVD and not just hers. A lot of people recommend your DVD and are so very happy they bought it. They say the info in hem is super and the projects are awesome and the have no regrets buying and they love it.

Just thought you wanted to hear what I have been reading in other blogs too.

I agree completely with Trisha. I purchased a gypsy when they first came out and was thoroughly confused. I used it very little until your video. Thanks so much to you and Tammy for all your efforts to educate us b/c even though Provo Craft has great products, their instructional info leaves ALOT to be desired.

Megan, I was just over at 1/3 Chicklet and read her article about G A-Z. Congrats. Anyway, I was reading all of the comments, too. There is a lady on there named Jean, in Ohio, she’s 72. If you can find her I would like to buy her Cricut A-Z. You have my e-mail. I’ll wait to hear from you. Thanks for your assistance in this matter.

Megan – Thanks so much for posting a link to Trish’s website. I have the Gypsy (which I have had since last fall) and the Gypsy A-Z Dvd, but was so overwelmed by the Gypsy that I have not even been able to stop and watch the DVD!! After reading Trish’s post I am getting them both out today and I am going to learn to use my Gypsy. I really needed her boost of confidence that with the dvd I WILL be able to use my Gypsy. Can’t wait to give it try. Thanks!

    Hey Megan,
I read your blog today for a bit of sunshine that you always give, and was blessed when I read a note to you from Rose. I hope she knows that our world needs more caring people like her. Sure, a DVD might sound like nothing, but her heart in wanting to “open doors” for this unknown lady to her is so very precious and an inspiration to me. Thank-you for the great products you put out there for all of us to make this world of “technology” crafting easier to understand! There are many women out there who are trying to navigate all this “new stuff”, and get baffled by the technology behind it. You erased that maze for so many. Thank-you. . .Hugs to you and to Rose!

    Hey Meagen!

Just wanted to update you, I changed my blog name and address so here is the new link for your followers who would like to read my review

    http://techniquesbytrish.blogspot.com/2010/07/if-you-own-gypsyplease-read.html

Unfortunately, the commenting system that I was using before stopped working so all of the previous comments that people left about your GREAT dvd has gotten deleted. Put your viewers can still read the review.

    Thanks again :)

Gypsy A-Z DVD is the best thing for all Gypsy owners. I purchased two DVD’s to pass one to a former student of mine for her birthday. This DVD is truely fantastic and now I know exactly how and what I need to do and its all because of your DVD. I had also purchased your Cricut A-Z DVD, which also helped me to better understand the cricut. Thanks and keep up the good work!

I got my Cricut Expression in April and I purchased a gypsy on clearance at Joann Fabric’s in June. My husband was concerned I wouldn’t get much use out of it. Thanks to your Gypsy A to Z DVD I am now comfortable with using it. I didn’t realize how much more you can do with it until I watched the video. The written directions from PC were difficult for me to follow. I’m more of a visual learner then reading and trying to figure it out. Now I’m excited to start making projects! Thank you! Now I can prove to my husband that the Gypsy was worth the investment (especially since it looks like CCR will be awhile yet).
