Speaking of which….our third DVD is in post-production right now and is scheduled to be released end of summer 2010   and soon after we will have our 4th DVD that will be filmed in August for release in fall 2010!

OPI has just come out with a new color line in honor of Shrek the Third and there it was….

The color of that big green ogre! It hit me!!!!

I had to get my toes painted… I needed it, I needed it now!!!!

Because not only is this color the same as everyone’s favorite ogre, it’s also the SAME as EVERYONE’S favorite bug….
Drum rolll please!!!!!!!!!

I present to you……
Cricut Green!!!!!!!!
(the real color is called “who the Shrek are you?” by OPI)

Then…. I just had to take it two steps…I mean two toes further!!!!

Quickly I pulled out my iPhone and pulled www.cricut.com up for my nail tech to see! “I need that circle Cricut head on my toes! I must I must!”
Scratching her head my wonderful friend shrugged her shoulders and said, “ok Megan!!!”

I proceeded to explain I’m ready for CHA and I will see all my Cricut friends…this is just tooo perfect!!!

Something else I”m VERY excited to be sharing with you in the next week are several projects that I have made for a SWAP I am participating in.  Its DEFINITELY been a new and challenging experience for me and I can’t wait for my partner to receive her box of goodies – once she gets everything, I’ll be sure to share the goodies with you all as well – I think you’ll laugh at some of the humor behind everything too!  Good Times Good Times!

And – I’m very thrilled to have Brittney working here with me on a more regular basis.  She is very talented in many departments and is pretty much a does it ALL At Above Rubies Studio kinda girl, from shipping, Customer Service, Video Editing, Creative Design and MUCH MORE – our team is growing, but she is someone I depend GREATLY on right now – not only do I want to take time to THANK HER right now! (THANK YOU BRITTNEY!)

I want to tell you all that the two of us our working on the NEXT Release from Above Rubies Studio THIS WEEK!!!

NOT ONLY are we working REALLY REALLY hard on TONS of things that are going to be included in the NEW CLUB RUBY, we are working on a HUGE Release looking to come out THIS SUMMER – so be prepared and stay tuned for THAT!

I have to tell you all, I’m in a rambling kinda mood today, and I want to tell you about all kinds of ideas I have bubbling in my crazy creative head.  I want to tell you all how thankful I am to each one of you for the opportunity to even begin to serve you in this small way of blogging, teaching, inspiring…

So anyway, something that I had to show you using the Gypsy was this Vinyl Wall Art that I created for the Nursery at my Church.  We decided we want to put the poem “All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all” on the large wall where the rocking chairs and toys are.

So I pulled out the Gypsy and in just a few moments created from Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge and Stone Script Cartridge in 2.75″ letters, the wall vinyl for the nursery.

Gypsy A to Z DVD!  YAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we are super stinkin’ EXCITED and giddy and we have a film crew coming to the studio today and they were here last night doing final sound checks and everything…this is just so fun!

We’ve been working on projects and scripts and outlines etc… for months and now the fun part comes in!!!!!

Using multiple pages to layer your projects is such an awesome function to use and really takes your designs to a different level that is so much fun with the Gypsy.  I have spent many many hours playing with it and its SO fun!
