Hey Everyone!

Thank you all for the well wishes….I was starting to get better and then ended up flat on my back all day Sunday and it’s been crazy.  No excuses, but all my work is not done   I’m sorry!!!!

However, I did want to announce several names to get started in who is going to be on the Club Ruby Design Team.  Beyond that, all who submitted, I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got SOOOO many FANTASTIC Applications and would LOVE to continue to see applications for work come in because you all are SO talented, we have a SURPRISE for you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even being sick, I can’t wait to share this surprise with you!

Everyone that submitted will be getting emails through out the week from me.  (Now remember I’m catching up from being down for almost a week so PLEASE be patient with me!)  We want to offer many of you who submitted each their own chance in the spotlight.  While I simply can’t afford to hire everyone, we have a wonderful idea to share everyone’s amazing work!  Sounds like interesting FUN Huh!?!?  Well that’s exactly what I am all about – Inspiring and Having FUN and you ALL inspired me!

I am going to be sharing many of the entries I received for Club Ruby with the everyone with the permission of the submitter – we are going to continue to allow all you talented crafters to share your work with Above Rubies Studio and all of our followers!   More to come on that – but just so you know – if you did submit and your name is not on this list – don’t despair!   We STILL WANT TO SHARE IT WITH THE WORLD!!!

Hey everyone,

Today is February 25th and it is the final day to submit your applications for becoming a Club Ruby Designer.  We have so many applications it is going to be so hard to choose!  We are very excited about EVERYONE sharing so much of their talent with us and we look forward to using everyone in some way or another through different project aspects at Above Rubies Studio.

I had originally promised to have the design team posted by the 1st and that is still my target, however this past week I had a little issue that landed me in the ER and while I am home, I am on quite a bit of pain medicines that aren’t allowing me to think quite clearly, so I don’t want to make any final decisions until I am back to speed.  I hope you all can understand and can bare with me as we make these decisions and try to keep up with everyone!   I am fine, so I don’t want anyone to worry or anything, just recovering.

We are still accepting applications for Gypsy A to Z designers and you can submit your work through:

We are so very excited about this A to Z DVD and know it’s going to be HUGE!  So get your work out there and submit!  You will have until the 15th of March to submit your final Gypsy Projects

A Little What’s Going On:

Right now, it is 1:12am (est) we JUST finished the final filming – I am WHOOOPED so I am sure that we will be doing this live Ustream in our PJs!   It will be lots of fun though and Tammy and I even decided that we are going to show you one of the projects that will be on the DVD – we can do this because this DVD is SO JAMMED PACKED FULL of info and fun, it’s just going to give you a tasting glimpse of whats to come!

Wow what a LONG day Wednesday was!  Tammy and I just had so much fun today filming and creating, we just can’t wait to share with everyone what all we’ve come up with!

I wanted to let you all know TWO things

1) Friday February 19th, 2009 we are going to do a LIVE UStream at 9:30AM EST!  I know 9:30 is crazy early for some of you and really late for others, so we are going to make sure it’s fully recorded so you don’t miss anything.  We want to give everyone a few updates on Gypsy A to Z and we also want to giveaway a few goodies…since it’s so last minute – we’ll give you a little bit of time to have your chance to win.  So make sure to mark your calendars – THIS Friday 9:30am EST (eastern standard time)

2) Gypsy A to Z is going soooooo well and we are having SOOOO much fun, we wanted to ask everyone who is interested in submitting ideas, projects and designs to please do so.  Visit this form right HERE www.aboverubiesstudio.com/forms/gypsy-project/ and you’ll be able to enter your work to be a featured guest in the DVD – we have a ton of wonderful projects, but there is still a TON of room more for all of your creative genius’s and it’s your time to shine!

I had to take time to say THANK YOU!  This was a card I made quite a long time ago with a friend who I am thankful for.

In this snow day I had some time to talk with my kids about what we are thankful for.  We talked about our warm house and warm food for lunch, we talked about our family and our friends, we talked about our car and our beds and music and Bensen said “Choo Choos”…and in the fun and midst of all of that I started thinking how thankful I am for ALL of YOU!!!

YES YOU!!!!!  My support and encouragement and inspiration for Above Rubies Studio!  SO I HAVE TO THANK YOU!

My challenge is:

• Make something to say Thank-You to someone else
• Tell us something you are Thankful for THIS Moment
• Make a Layout of things you are Thankful for!

I think that is all the challenges I am going to post for today’s snow day – but hopefully when it stops coming down so hard out there, I’ll get into my studio and make some really great new videos and stuff!  Have many ideas floating around, just have to get in there to film them!
