I am most thankful for my husband and the beautiful son that we made together. I know that no matter how tough things get (and right now there pretty tough) my husband will always be there to lighten the load.
I am most thankful for my wonderful husband, Lars. He is not perfect, but he is perfect for me. I had a really traumatic childhood, and I think that Lars is my consolation from God to make up for what I had to endure. I love him so much, and most importantly, he loves me…and shows it all the time. I am most thankful for that. 🙂 (I’m 45 yrs old, and was never able to have children, though I wanted them desperately. That’s why I didn’t put that my kids were what I was most thankful for.)
I am thankful for time with family…it can be taken away in an instant, every second is prescious and you dont want to look back and regret not seeing someone as much as you can. I dont want to ever live with regret.

This year, I am most thankful for my wonderful hubby, who has been so supportive with my decision to stop working. He has this wonderful insight into things and always looks at things calmly(unlike me who panics first). He was the one who told me to be happy and whatever I decided he was with me. After about 2 weeks of being home, my hubby turned to me one day and told me he loved having me home all the time and he didn’t care what sacrifices we had to make. It was then that I knew he was the best thing that has ever happened to me and for this I am so very thankful. And all this after 30 years of marriage too!!!!

My family and I have had a very rough year with a family illness and then a death of a family member, I have also had so many health issues this year and I finally feel like things are getting a little better. I am thankful for my family and my health, cheers to a better year ahead!

When life gets me down and I think my world is falling down around me, my children do or say something that makes me realize that nothing can be that bad. I am most thankful for my faith. Everything in my life would be so totally different if I did not have the faith in God that I have…and the faith in me that He has. My faith has brought me though many hard times including when the doctors told us only hours after our middle son was born to prepare ourselves and our family to say goodbye. I just could not accept that we were not going to get to raise this precious little boy and set out calling all our family and friends starting a Prayer chain. Our prayers were answered and Braydon is now 4 1/2 and thriving! I truely am thankful for all that God has done for us. Never underestimate the power of Prayer and always live with a Thankful heart. This is just one of the reasons I am constantly telling my friends to take the time to “enjoy the moments”, don’t let them pass you by.

I am most thankful for my family. My daughter graduated from college in May, and though still looking for a job, has some prospects in sight. My son graduates from college in December and hopefully has a long term substitute job lined up. My husband is the love of my life and has always been there to share the load and support us through the years. I’m thankful for all the blessings God has granted to me and my family. But this year is different, my mom is dying. I’ve had to put her in an Assisted Living Facility here in Fl. I sit by her bedside most days just visiting, but this is my mom’s last Thanksgiving and we will spend it with her. If she is not able to come to the table , then we will eat in her room keeping her company. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy having Sean to help you with those beautiful children.
Ohh I love giveaways. I am most thankful for you Megan because if I hadn’t found your site I would not have discovered Cricut and all of your great videos. I have only been doing papercrafts since April but my skill level and confidence in what I make has all been because of your tutorage. I am doing all the invitations, bombonierre etc etc for my daughters wedding and the few people I have shown the samples too can’t believe how good they are and that is because of the skills you have taught me. I am most thankful for my husband and God for getting me through this most difficult time. See I lost my Mother 4 weeks ago while I was on vacation. She was 94 and she was getting to the stage I could no longer take care of her and had to be put in a nursing home which I felt so awful about, also early this year I had to have back surgery which also made it difficult to take of my Mother. My Mother had alway lived with me and it is very difficult to be without her. My husband has been there for me all the way. I will always regret that I took that vacation and was not there for her because I have always been there for my Mother. She was doing fine when I left and I was visiting my brother in Ohio when we got the call she took a turn for the worst but I did not make it back to Florida in time. My husband supports me in my crafting and has built me a beautiful craft room where I can go to get comfort and lose myself in my crafting. Thanks to you for helping me to keep interest in crafting. Family and friends. Ten years ago we moved back “home”for my husbamd. We both found wonderful jobs, we renewed old friendships and made new friends. So in addition to having each other and our two great children, we now have a great group of friends. We get together every Friday night whenever we can. God blessed us when we thought we had hit the ground hard and might never recover.
I am thankful for so many things. My wonderful husband and kids and grandbabies and lots of friends. Thankful for all my online friends I may never even meet but am so grateful for them all. I want to wish you all a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving.
First of all I am thankful for a loving Savior, Jesus Christ. Then for my husband who loved me thru a very bad brain surgery that left me with life altering changes. I think it was rougher on him than me but he showed me that he would always be there for me and loved me through some pretty tough times when even friends could not.
There are many things I am thankful for. So here are just a few I am thankful to God as he helps me get though each and every day. Next my family and friends the last two years were very hard and my family and friends help my husband and I get through it. Next I lost my dad last September and that made my sister who has been gone move back home from Ca. after being gone for 25 years. This will be the first time since that her , my youner sister and I will be together for the holidays. Thanking God for everything in my life.

First and foremost, I am ever grateful for my relationship with our heavenly Father Jehovah and for the ransom of his son, Jesus Christ, for without him – we would not be here. And my loving husband of 25 years. I love him more and more every day. My parents, they are just super and can’t wait to get away with them soon. And although I work full time, my friendships are still in tact and continue to blossom.

I’m most thankful for my wonderful family who keep me grounded and loved – and who are endlessly tolerant if my crafting clutter!
I am so thankful for the Grace of God that we have been blessed with such a beautiful family and for the many blessings that he has given us. Believe me, times have been rough at times but I know that God will always carry us through. I am so thankful that my family tolerates my need for crafting. PLUS!!! Everyone knows how absolutely thankful I am for my CRICUT!!!
This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for my boyfriend’s family, who has had a very rough year. His sister and brother-in-law had a near fatal motorcycle accident in February and his parents were hit by a drunk driver in May. They both spent the better part of 5 months in the hospital and are finally healthy enough to go home. I’m also thankful that my best friend will be home from Afghanistan in a few days.
I am thankful for being made in God’s image and being one of His children. I am so grateful for the creativity and uniqueness that God has placed in each one of us, and the ability to use my creativity to bless others through personal gifts and cards that I can make.
I am most thankful for the life I have, I may wish things to be different, or easier, but this is the life I have and I’m very thankful for that.

I am most thankful for my family and I am especially grateful for the fabulous place that I work. I work for a Medical Ministry for low income people with no insurance. This place is like working with angels. Everyone is so committed to helping people that are down on their luck. We treat not only their illness but we treat the whole person physically, emotionally and spiritually. Many days our doctors pray with the patients before they finish their visits. What a blessing.

I am very thankful for my 2 wonderful children, amazing husband and fabulous friends and family. I am thankful that for the most part all are healthy and that those that aren’t are getting lots of prayers and help to get them healthy.
I am most thankful for my health and my family. I just recently lost my furrbaby, Flyboy. He was 10 years old and I know he is in a better place. However, I am thankful for two little black furrbabies that I recently adopted. They have filled the hole in my heart left by Flyboy.

I am thankful everyday for my wonderful husband and children who have had to care for me for the last 8 years when I feel it is/was my duty to care for them as a wife and mother. They have been such a great support and comfort and even though my youngest son is the only one of my children still living at home the other three are always calling in, on the phone or sending letters to make sure I am fine or not in need of anything. Now this may seem easy but considering one of them is serving in Afghanistan at the moment you will appreciate how difficult contact is. I am so so thankful to them everyday of my life.

I’ve always been thankful for God and the awesome things He has done for me. This year has been especially thankful because he allowed our family to keep a sister alive after being diagnois with cancer. She has had many ups and downs this year and thanks be to God she is still here and will be celebrating. Each day is a celebration for all of us wheter it is a birthday or holiday. We take each day with joy and thanksgiving.

I am so thankful for my family. My husband spend over 20 years in the Navby but the two important days of my life when our girls were born he was there for me. I can make my Thanksgiving meal any day of the year, it isn’t the date onthe calendar it is the time you spend with family.

I am most thankful for being able to spend time this thanksgiving with my family. We play silly games and serious games. (Some family members are quiet competitive!) It is a great time to relax, laugh and eat good food. The pictures that are taken and the ones we enjoy from years gone by are priceless! As we get older it sure is easy to forget some of the past events but the memories we share through our photos help keep the heart, mind and the laughter young and fresh!!
I am thankful to live in a country that has freedoms we enjoy everyday. The freedom to choose our religion, who we marry, our occupations just to name a few. I am thankful that my spouse has served in the navy to insure the continuation of these liberties.

I am most thankful for my great supportive family. Six years ago I had stage 4 lung cancer and given only a sort time. I underwent sever chemo and radiation etc. The good Lord saved me. I still am battleing lung cancer and scheduled for surgery for lumps on my breast Dec. 1st. I have eight wonderful grandkids and enjoy them dearly. Since getting cancer I had to give up my self made successfull candle business of 10 yrs. (Wicked Wicks, Inc.) But! I have picked up the wonderful world of scrapbooking. I am doing albums for my three children to have and cherrish when I am gone. It is very relaxing and rewarding, and away to continue enjoying my children and grandkids. Nothing better then family.
I’m so thankful for the blessed life that God has given me! Although there has been some ‘rain’ throughout my life, He always sends me a rainbow. Everyday, I’m thankful for all those blessings. I’m so blessed!! I so thankful that I get to share my blessings with my family, friends, and especially the special needs kids I teach. What a blessed life!

This has been a rough year for us in many ways, I am most thankful for the people in my life who mean the world to me, who have the ability to make me keep things in perspective, like what truly matters and keep me optimistic no matter how badly things seem to be going.

I am most thankful for my family. It has been a tough year with my husband losing his eyesight, but we are making it by the grace of God! Family is so important.
I am thankful that my family will be together for Thanksgiving. After you get married everyone moves away and getting together gets tougher. This year we are all traveling to meet at my sister’s and my daughter is driving from college to meet us as well. Makes me warm and happy just thinking about it.

Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago I lost my aunt who lives in Italy from an instant, unexpected heart attack. I’m grateful we were able to spend some quality time with her this summer. At 67 who would’ve thought it would have been my last time seeing her…

I am most thankful for my close knit family that makes getting through diffupicult times tolerable.
Life is like a mountain, with it’s many ups and downs. So far I’ve been fortunate to see the light at the end of every tunnel (and like others, there have been many.) I am thankful for my family! I am blessed with two children and six grandkids who are my life. I am thankful for the love of my mother who has been ill the past year, her love is always never ending. I am thankful for my five brothers, unfortunately I only have one of them left. Cancer has taken some of them. They taught me how precious life really can be and to tell the people you love that you them love while you can, for tomorrow they may not be here.

I am thankful for everything in my life I am blessed beyond measure. But I am most thankful for my daughter coming back from the brink of death after an attack on her vehicle overseas in the air force. God is good and I am thankful she is alive today to be able to watch her children grow!! Thank Jesus..
I am most thankful for my wonderful family. My mom and dad taught me the family values that I live by today. Always there supporting, loving me when I was not so lovable. I miss them both. Dad passed away in 1996 and mom in 2009. My sister who showed me the way to Jesus as she did the entire family. She was an angel! She passed at the young age of 40. I miss them all but I think about how blessed I am to have had them in my life.
I am most thankful for GOD, my family, and my family’s health. I had a scare with my son having cancer, but he has been cancer free now for 18 months. My sister also had breast cancer and has been cancer free for two years.
I am thankful for many things, some of which I take for granted – like having healthy children and grandchildren who are able to breathe without a struggle. A 17 year old friend of my grandson has suffered with cystic fibrosis since she was 3 years old. She was put on a double-lung transplant list last year, and she was recently given the gift of new lungs. I am thankful for families who see through their grief and donate their loved one’s organs to help others live. I am thankful for organizations like COTA who help families whose children need organ transplants. I am thankful.
My thankfulness this year is bittersweet. I will try to make this as short as possible. My grandmother fell victim to the horrid Alzheimer’s disease about 20 years ago; my grandfather cared for her at home until he had a stroke at home making her dinner. He went to the hospital and she went to a care facility. My grandmother passed away two weeks later while my grandfather is still in a skilled care facility. Back in May when this all happened, I flew in to “say goodbye” to my grandmother.
(Here’s the sweet part). While I was there those three days, I had the pleasure of being re-introduced to one of my younger cousin’s that I had not seen in almost 22 years (life always got in the way). Out of this meeting, she and I have become VERY close over the last few months. Though I missed her childhood, I will not miss another day of her life. We talk daily now and I cannot imagine my life without her. I never had a sister, or children. Because of our age difference, she is both to me. God puts us where we need to be at the time we need to be there. I am grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to meet her all over again.
Obviously I’m thankful for my relationship with God and for my family and friends. But beyond that I am grateful for the joy that paper crafting gives me as I stay home to be a care giver for my wonderful mother.

I am most thankful for my hubby who helped me and our church friends who have recently helped us with meals being brought in which helped hubby so much they just dont’ know how much they have helped us…. and thankful for my 4 children, I’d broken my leg and couldn’t put any weight on it, have a rod in my leg now broke the fimur, plus I have rods, screws on both ends of my spine as well but you know our church friend showed me do not give up which I felt like during this time. I am now up nad walking now and have a bad limp but may always have that now…so thankful so much for family and friends.
I know it is going to sound really generic but I am most thankful for my family and friends. No matter what happens family is always there for you.
There are so many things that I am thankful for. Mostly for the family and friends I’ve been blessed with and that my family and I are healthy.

I am thankful for my 91-year old mother and significant other who live with me; as well as all my family (children, grandchildren, neices and nephews), for friends, for our military who is/have fighting/fought to keep our nation free. I am so thankful for the good health and love of my family. It has been a blessing to me that I have been able to be a stay at home mom all these years for my 3 boys (not always easy, but ALWAYS worth it!). This year is extra special, since Hurricane Katrina 2005, my son & his family had to relocate to Austin, TX. My daughter and her family were still living here in Louisiana, and since I was not able to spend the holidays with both of my children and grandchildren since 2005, it was so empty and sad. Well my son & his family have moved back to Louisiana, and we all live within 10 miles of each other, so I am so thankful they are home and we are now a family again, I am truly blessed and thankful.
Grandkids make every holiday more fun, more memorable…more everything!
I am most thankful that my 3 sons are healthy and happy and are in stable relationships. I am also thankful that my husband and I are fortunate to be able to travel this wonderful country full-time. We have seen so many wonderful places and now have great friends everywhere we go!
I am most thankful for my hubby and our children. I am also thankful for the opportunity to finally get to know my birth mother. My parents divorced when I was just a baby and my stepmother would never allow me to see my birth mother. I am finally working on a relationship that most everyone takes for granted, this is our first holiday season together that I will remember. Now that I am almost 50 I finally have a mommy :o).
I am thankful for God and all of his many blessings (family, friends and more) given to us. He gave hubby and I 2 special gifts – Son 1, who has been our challenge and still is today. (But has allowed us to help others because of DS1). 8 years later God gave us another gift, Son 2, who will be 12 on Nov 23rd. DS2 is a true disciple, while active in church, school, sports, scouts, he still has time to provide special words during good and rough times to all. I couldn’t imagine my life without my sons. This holiday season my family decided we are only giving each other one gift and we are going to volunteer at either a food pantry or elderly community (or both) to really appreciate all we have because we can still give to others less fortunate (our love and time). And it did not matter what faith, color, rich or poor, you respect all. And they taught us all life is very precious. And even in their dying they still taught us tolerance and courage. I am most thankful for the 16 years I had with my mom. 30 years ago this Thanksgiving Day, my mom passed away. And even though I was only 16, she somehow managed to instill so much into me (and all of my siblings) to last a lifetime. Thirty years later, she is still forefront in my mind every single day. It sustains me, it wraps me. it makes me who I am. I’m so very, very, very grateful and humbled by God giving me to her and for the miracle of what she was to me in such a short period of time.

I am first of all most Thankful that God so loved me that he was willing to die on the cross to save all of us if we ask. We all have so many things to be thankful about. For me it is God first then like so many others my family.
As I was telling my residents yesterday after bible group, I am so thankful for them. Their generation had it rough with the wars, the depression, losing children and husbands for our freedom. They have blessed me greatly in the knowledge that they are proud of their sacrifices. God bless them and to all who fight for our freedom.
I am so thankful for my husband and supportive group of friends. Although it has been two years since my mother passed at the age of 49, I am still devastated. She had me when she was barely 16, and we grew up together, but breast cancer took us apart. My husband of 12 years though is the strength I need to go through each day and I did not realize the wondrous support of my friends until this event. There will be an empty spot at Thanksgiving table, but my heart will be warm with fond memories.
I am Thankful for Family, Friends & Faith. First I Have a wonderful husband and three great kids. As my kids are becoming adults it is nice to know that sometime way in the future our family will grow. My best friend is always a phone call away. I have great faith in God and that no matter God is always there.

Family and friends are so much to be thankful for. This year our family is missing two very important family memebers, my MIL who we lost in May and a beautiful niece (only 21 Years old) who we lost in July. Our is not to question why but to know they are both in heaven looking over us and that they will be present in spirit this holiday season .

I am most grateful for my life and wonderful family! My daughter gave birth to a strong, healthy and bright baby boy three months ago. She has tumors, is over 35; and was told by doctors that she would never be able to get pregnant or carry a baby to full term. I am so grateful that we know God; and that he fills our hearts, minds and souls with hope.

I have so many things to be thankful for–even in a bad economy. First, of course, is that I have a heavenly Father who loves me and is always there in my ups and down. Secondly, I was raised with a legacy of love through godly parents, grandparents, and now families on both sides who are Christian and very loving and sharing individuals. Also, somehow God has provided the means this year so that my husband and I have been able to go to Haiti to help others. And finally, I give thanks daily for our three children who are wonderful individuals committed to serving God. How blessed I am!

I am so thankful that I have been able to witness a miracle. My daughter was born a micro- preemie, and her chance of survival was slim. She was 1 pound 0.5 oz, and had a very long, hard road ahead. She is 21 months now, and has made huge strides! This will be her first Thanksgiving that she will be able to meet her extended family! Happy days ahead!
I am thankful for my family. This time last year we did not have a home. It was difficult to be together as a family. My husband and our 4 kids were hopping around from motels and commuting the kids over an hour to and from school. The stress of not being able to let our kids be themselves and not having a place to keep our stuff. Was definitely a difficult time for us. We are so THANKFUL for a place to call home and be together. We are blessed!

I am most thankful for the blessing of family, friends, and growth. I lived in Virginia for 47 years of my life and two years ago took a hugh chance and moved to Arizona with my company. My husband and daughter came with and my husband stays at home with our daughter. How blessed we are in this economic environment for him to be able to stay home. And now that I have found Above Rubies Studios, I have more to create with to show off my wonderful family and friends.

I am thankful for my family, friends and to have a good job! Without the first 2, life would be lonely! And without the 3rd, I wouldn’t be able to have a house to have my family and friends over!
I lost a friend to breast cancer this week. I am thankful she is longer suffering and in pain, but most of all, that she is with her heavenly father rejoicing with the angels.
So much to be thankful for, and so great to remind myself of that fact! I am most thankful for an amazing son who at 11 is insightful, thoughtful, giving and fun. He is always making sure his Mama is happy (not that is it his job). He is a daily reminder of his wonderful daddy who we lost 9 years ago.
I am thankful for God’s blessings in my life which are too numerous to mention but mostly for my husband and family. When I read some of the other posts here, I feel even more grateful that I still have my mom with me at age 76, even though she has had many health and financial worries. Everyone in the family has jobs or is in school and our health has been mostly good. I feel especially blessed by my 4 yr. old granddaughter who brings so much joy to all of us. Perhaps the greatest blessing God has given us this year is that my son who is 35 has returned to church with a fervor and has now gone every week for over 7 months. It warms my heart so!
I am most thankful for just living, having great friends and family. And the best thing that I have in my life my two sons. Which I am so proud of. They are the reason I breath, live and stay with a level head on my shoulders. I’m most thankful for all of my 6 childre and 2 grandchildrenn, I was just released out of the hospital, but while there all I thought about is not being home for Thanksgiving. I just turned 50 and I’ve always had them over for the Holidays; just the thought of not being with them had me in tears. My daughter-in-law called me to let me know that the kids wanted to talk to me and when I got on the phone they asked me if I felt better because they wanted to come over to eat my turkey. That touched my heart so much and had me in tears. Thank GOD that I’m out in time to cook that bird that everyone in my family enjoys every year.
I am most thankful for my salvation, becasue without God I do not know how we would have made it the last 3 years. I was laid off 12-08 and still have not found a job, there have been days when I have felt like a failure BUT then I remember God has a plan for me!! I am so thankful this year for my hubby. He broke his leg this summer and it was bad. I am thankful he can (this last week) walk with a limp. We have know each other since birth, and I truely love him!!!!

Since I am in Canada, we have had our Thanksgiving but regardless of whether it is mine in Oct. or yours in Nov., or any other day of the year, I am thankful to be here to enjoy all my activities and this world of ours. I have Advanced RotoScoliosis, Arthritis and have had a hip replacement due to a fall and I am a Senior but I can still be very active and do what I want to do and… on top of it all, I am a 20 year Cancer survivor. Thank you, Dear One.
I am always so thankful for my beautiful family. Last Friday my daughter-in-law and 2 yr old grandaughter were in a bad car accident and both came out ok. My son went to a Med Express on Monday and had a boot put on his foot for a severly bruised foot and on Tuesday y 7 year old grandaughter found out she has walking pneumonia. All are doing well but things like that make you realize how preciouse life and family are. So many have so much more to deal with and keep going with an incredible outlook on life. I am so lucky and thankful for my family.

I am thankful for my sisters. A friend’s sister passed away recently, both were close in ages to my sisters and I and it made me realize how lucky I am to have my sisters and much I want to strengthen my bond with them.

I am thankful to have my children and grandchildren with us this year. Last year I had just gotten out of the hospital and my husband doesn’t cook so he and I had frozen dinners for Thanksgiving alone. This year the Lord has blessed us and my daughter-in-law doesn’t have to work on Thanksgiving, so she and my son can come and my daughter and her family will be here too. I am just so thankful to have my family with and to be able to cook for them all. My 9 year old granddaughter wrote a Thanksgiving plan for the family to put on for me the audience. We are using the cricut to cut out feathers and turkeys.
I am very thankful to live in a great country with all of the freedom that we have and the advantages that we have here , the fact that we’re so much safer here than people in some other countries are…we are so fortunate and probably don’t take the time to reflect on that as often as we should. God has been so very good to us and I’m thankful for His love and his blessings, which of course include my wonderful family.
WOW, what a tough question! There are so many things in life to be grateful for. The very first thing that came to mind was my hubby 🙂 He is the reason for so many great things in my life. We’ve been together since high school (16 yrs) and coming up on our 10 year wedding anniversary. He is the reason I have so much to be thankful for: my 2 beautiful boys (5&6), his unwavering love & support, his family who have been a second family to me & just our whole amazing life we have built together! There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t say “i love you” & that I don’t marvel at the beautiful person God has brought me. I realize how amazing it was to find each other at the tender age of 15 & to still be together & as much in love as we were from the first moment I saw him in my backyard! He is the greatest man I know (along with my Dad of course) 🙂 My wish is that everyone is able to find this true love at first sight because I’m living proof that it does happen!

I am very thankful that I have given another chance to live. I had decided on my own that it was time for me to go, but god has other things for me. He showed me its not time and that I have a man on my side that loves me no matter how I am. That I have 5 beautiful girls that are here for me and they need me. I am so thankful that the Lord redeemed me, gave me a new life–one with purpose, and allowed me to serve Him in translating His Word for those without it. What a privilege! What a joy!
This has been a difficult year for my family. My mom has been very ill. I am thankful that she has survived to be with the family for another Thanksgiving holiday. I am also thankful for the many blessings I have received.
I am so very thankful that I have lived to be 72 (don’t tell) and have a wonderful family.two granddaughters to love and pretty good health.
I am most Thankful for my incredible husband. He is the most wonderful man alive. He supports me and sometimes guides me in all I do. I had gastric bypass surgery on 2/18/11 and not only did he wait on me hand and foot and give me the eye if I was going to put the wrong thing in my mouth, he lets me buy all of the craft supplies any person could want and compliments me on my creations. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer 12 years ago and a heart condition 11 years ago and lives every day with joy. Medicine is controlling all of that stuff for now. I am grateful for each day I have with him.
I am grateful to my God who allowed me to live through two surgeries last year9one for cancer and one open heart surgery) with so much support from friends and family that I can now take up this new delightful hobby and meet even more wonderful people who exist in this world.
I am thankful for my family who is healthy. I am especially thankful that my dear Mother-in-law has finished her chemo and there are no signs of breast cancer. What a blessing
I am very thankful for my husband, two now grown sons and our dog. I know that withou them I probably would not be writing this now, I would be gone. These men, including the boy dog have kept me alive through many years of a very serous and continuing bout with overwhelming depression. And it all started with a mistake made during surgery I had 15 years ago. But my men have never given up on me and for that I thank the Lord each day.
I’m so thankful for my son. When Matthew was born we were told that our little one wasn’t going to make it. I knew that I wasn’t going to take that answer and that I believed he would and he did. Today Matthew is 7 years old and doing well. I couldn’t of done it with out my loving husband at my side . Matthew spent 18 months from birth in a hospital before he came home. So that is what I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for so many things this year. But one thIng in particular is to have a great husband that takes such good care of our famIly. I am thankful that in a time when so many people are struggling to survive this enconomy we have a home filled with love and that is all we need!
What is there not to be thankful for? Everything that happens to us, all the people that we meet and even the problems that we face are designed to get us to vibrate and expand our consciousness.
I’m thankful for everything that life gives me. I am most thankful for my family. I know a lot of people have said this, but I don’t need anything else but my family to be happy. My 10 year old had sinus surgery this week, and as we agonized over whether this was the right thing to do, I thought how awful my life would be without either one of my boys. It was a simple surgery, but close to the brain. I am much more appreciative of them, their personalities, their sense of humor, etc. A positive thing that came out of this was I stopped and realized how lucky I am. (He’s fine and doing great, all worries for nothing, thank goodness!)
I am most thankful for my salvation through Jesus Christ and all of his blessings.

I am thankful for my family, for having a job that allows me to provide for my family, for having a place to call home, and for having a wonderful network of friends. I am truly blessed each and every day.
I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to meet such great & inspiring people in my life that have helped make me the person that I am today–even those who have been hurtful to me have provided me with a gift of knowledge. I too have my flaws, but those relationships & the people that have been a part of my life have helped build a personality within me that is based on honest introspection & unconditional love. That gift is priceless. While the good is always great, without the bad things life has to deliver, or the harmful things done to me or all around me, I would never know the good in life. I thank all those people who have walked that journey with me, even if it was only for a few steps, and for those who always lend me the support I need when I need, the knowledge that I’ve obtained from it, and the times that they’ve supported & thought for me when I couldn’t do it on my own.
I am MOST thankful for God sending his Son Jesus Christ that we may all be saved and live for Him, and with HIM one day. Then I am thankful for a wonderful family and all the many blessings we’ve had.
Thankful for the many years of artistic endeavors. My senior years are filled with thoughts of what I am going to next, and so thankful that I still have the capacity to follow through.
Without a doubt, I am most thankful for our Lord Jesus, who saw fit to bless me my other most thankful for, my daughter. She is the true blessing in my life and the reason, I am sure, that God saw fit for me to be here. She inspires me to be a better human being, mother, friend and Christian. At 16, she has a great Christian foundation, her head on straight and is truly a beautiful woman, inside and out I am very blessed God trusted me with somone so precious and I thank Him everyday.
I am thankful that God knows best and that even though there are many days when we see through a fog and don’t understand why things happen to us, that HE has clear vision. As I get older, I can look back and see how all of the pieces of my life added up to work together for the life that God had planned for me. Do I love that life? Most of the time, but not always. It’s been a hard one. But nonetheless, God uniquely equipped me to live it through years of journeys that seemed to lead all over the place at the time, but which upon reflection, have been those obscure puzzle pieces, which really did have a place in the entire picture all along. I just couldn’t see it until more pieces had been placed on the table.
I am thankful for my wonderful husband. I have had a health issue since last December. I can’t do much of anything that requires walking. He does the laundry, cleaning and most of the cooking along with all the other things that need to be done. He even helps me wash my hair. He pushes me around in my wheelchair in stores he would never go into before. The down side to that is he knows how much scrapbooking supplies I have but he still takes me to Archivers, Joann’s or Michaels when I ask. I am truly blessed to have him.

I am thankful everyday for family & friends, BUT I am also thankful for the strangers in the world who make life more enjoyable. People who do not know you or owe you anything. That they may just even say Hi or Happy Holiday. Every time you turn on the news or open a newspaper most of what you read is horrible news. There is not enough good. We are too busy or afraid to do anything for anyone, for fear of whatever. Everyone needs a purpose in life & to feel like they belong. It doesn’t take much. to just say Hi or open a door for a person They don’t have to be old or handicapped. Try it See How good you feel & think how good the other person might feel. Its the little things that always seem forgotten, and it is all the little things that add up whether its the info we get about stamping or a Hi or a door opened for us. These things make us feel good & useful, and for these little things whether giving or receiving I am thankful, cause it has to make the world a better place in some small way. So I am saying Thank you for opening my door of Stamping and Crafting.
I am most thankful for my seemingly good health and my wonderful family
As I get older I realize the best things in life are the simple ones. I am VERY THANKFUL for my family (52 and counting!) that are heathy and that almost all of us will be together for the holidays. We’ll miss one nephew who is stationed in Japan, but will talk with him that nite. There really isn’t anything so important that it should come before family. Life is short, and it can change in a spilt seconded, tell the ones you have how much they mean to you, and forget about all the little petty things. Be thankful for who you have in your life right now and treasure those moments.
I am a sucker for new adhesives. Haven’t found a keeper yet….. I am so Thankful to God for my sweet husband. Married 40 years and he still brings me coffee in bed. He never gets upset when I choose to make cards or scrapbook instead of making our bed and picking up the house. He is my hero.
As a mom without any family, I am so very thankful for having had such terrific parents that raised me with good old fashion morals ,values , and traditions that I have been able to pass to on to my beautiful girls. In this tough economy, I am thankful for my husband that provides for our family so that I can stay home and be my daughter’s mom. I know how blessed I am to have that opportunity. It wasn’t always possible for me to stay home and raise my children. My husband works hard and is a great provider and family man.

I am most thankful for my husband this year. He has been very ill with prostate cancer and a lesion was located on his spineof cancer. After 5 radiation treatment he is getting better. I really thought htat the Lord was goingot take him home but Our Gracious Father decided to let him stay with me a bit longer. Godis so good and I am so thankful of His Love and Grace.

I am most thankful for a loving God who has watched over me my entire life. Through many difficult times, personal and financial. The loss of both my parents 2 sisters, a brother and a number of other family and friends over the years. He is there to lift me up when I am down and has always brought me through the most difficult times even when they have been caused by my own stupidity. I’m thankful for all of my family and friends still with me and the wonderful man God brought into my life before my mother who was also my best friend passed away, for without him I would not have made it through the loss.

I am thankful that this year I am excited for the holidays. We normally leave for christmas, so I don’t decorate much if at all (gasp, I know some of you are). But this year God has really worked on me and I am excited to decorate for christmas. This thanksgiving season I am most thankful for my sons sobriety. He made the choice for himself to go into rehab, has really worked on it and is making true heartfelt changes. He comes home on Tuesday. Another part of that sobriety is his renewed faith in the Lord. This is a young man that just six weeks ago was renouncing God. Many thankful blessing ga indeed!

I’m thankful for surviving a horrendous head on collision 7/1/09, and that no one was seriously hurt or killed (except my leg being partially severed). I’m thankful for wonderful surgeons, nurses, and my husband for making it possible for me to be able to walk again with my own foot and leg. I’m thankful for roses, puppies, friends, and family. Most of all I’m thankful to God, because he still needs me on this earth to love and pass it forward.

I am most thankful for having God in my life. If I had not had his help I don’t believe I would be here today. Next I am thankful for my Mom . She does a lot for me and takes me places when I need to go somewhers. I am ill a lot and she is always there for me. I am so lucky that i am blessed with her as my Mom.
I am most thankful for “a reasonable portion of health and strength”. I never knew what the deacons/ preachers that used that term in prayers really meant until my health scares started a few years ago. I am thankful for all that life has given me, even the negative things have worked for the good in my life.
I am thankful for my wonderful Husband and children, God, and my friends that help me through the tough times of illness, and the good times of fun and memories. I am thankful that I have found a hobby that enables me to record these good memories and that I am employed so that I can continue to provide a physical record of our lives. Happy Thanksgiving!
I am thankful for my parents who i let rest in peace cause with out them i wouldn’t be here today. They are the reason for who i am today and I’m am thankful for my husband, he always spoil’s me and we have 3 handsome men who are my world. I can’t leave out the soldiers that are fight over seas. I am thankful for them and my family that also went and have done their time.
I am most thankful that I can go to my mom’s each morning for coffee and conversation. She is 89 years old and is the most remarkable woman and cherished friend whom I have in my life. I am thankful that she will be with us as we give our prayers of gratitude this Thanksgiving.

You know, I didn’t have to think very hard for this one . This afternoon I went to pick my husband up so that we can have lunch together. We just started this new Saturday lunch thing…just because we get to spend an hour or so together without thinking about anything but lunch. Well on my way there I passed a” food line” for the needy and homeless. My heart sank , the line was so long , so many people waiting for food. I made the sign of the cross and thanked my God for all that he has given me and my family. There was a time in my life that I can say I was “there” I know how it feels to need food , shelter and so on. I thank God for helping me through those times and for giving me all that he has.I pray that he helps each one of the people on that line to have a better life.I thank God for all the people who donate to feed the poor and I think we can all do much more .

I am grateful for so many blessings this year… My parents are still in good health, my children are blossoming and are INCREDIBLE little human beings, my husband still turns my head and is amazing after nine years together. We are so very lucky to not be struggling in this horrible economy, and I am going to start getting paid to teach paper crafting in January. I am grateful every day for these and so many other blessings. They are too abundant to count!
I am thankful for so many things, I cannot even start the list. Although I try to chat with God about them every day. For Thanksgiving weekend, I am most thatnkful for the fact that I can be home with my family in a country with so many blessings. I am thankful for the men and women who have given up time with their families, and those who have given their lives so that I can enjoy mine. I am also thankful that the boys I know who had been overseas are home this year, safe, with their families.

Everyone is struggling. Money issues,. job insecurites, health issues. All these things have hit my home in the past year. A father, who lost his job yet continues to find ways to provide and be there for anyone who needs help. I am thankful for my family. This year I will be able to have Thanksgiving with my brother and his family. I haven’t done that in over 20 years. My brother is all that’s left in my original family so it will be a pleasure to enjoy this most thankful holiday.
I’m thankful for my family and the support that God has helped to provide us with over the last year. I look forward to spending time at the large family Thanksgiving Day gathering at my father-in-laws’ and all the noise that will come with it! The last year has been a challenge with learning how to teach my non-verbal autistic child and to educate the extended family as best as we can. I’m thankful to my Aunt & Uncle for showing their support for my mom and raising money and exceeding their goal in this years Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and that my mother has completed her treatment with no further signs of cancer. I’m also thankful for having a job that I could go back to since getting laid off of a new one!

I am most thankful that God gave my husband and me a second chance. When my husband had a heart attack in May and rallied through it, we realized that we had been given a second chance to live our lives to the fullest and enjoy every moment that we have together. It can all be taken away in a blink of an eye. At 61, I again see that 17 year old I fell in love with.

I am most thankful for my mom. She had me when she was 43 years old in 1966. I was the 9th child in the family. I am the youngest, but I was never spoiled, which is good. She will be 89 on November 27th. She is in great health. She walks everyday, reads, sews, and she is really good with history. I am thankful that I can spend time with her on the phone and talk to her, even if I can’t always visit her. She has seen a lot in her life time and she shares with me her memories of childhood, and it is so interesting to hear the stories of her growing up. Well Megan as you know its hard to find one the to be most thankful for but today I have to say my 18 month grandson. He was 1lb 13oz. He is doing great with the exception of an eating issue and on Tuesday the 22nd he is having a procedure at UNC Chapel Hill to see if he has to have major surgery to correct it. So I will use the Stick Itz to make another scrapbook page to go into his 2nd year of Life book. Thanks for all your hard work.

Many years ago my first husband died of cancer at the age of 26. I was 24 and had two small children, at that time I was so devastated but had to go on for my kids. I finally married a good friend of my first husband and I am so thankful for him. We have been married for over 48 years. I live on a beautiful ranch in Montana which I am very thankful for too. We have three grown kids and four grandchildren which are such a blessing. I have the good Lord to thank for the way my life turned out. I am very thankful to live in the USA and to be an American. I am also very thankful to you Megan for all your videos an help that you have given us all. I found you quite by chance and what a blessing that is.

After a very difficult year, I am most thankful that God has given us the strength to overcome tremendous challenges in our lives and the hope for a brighter future.
I am so very thankful for new opportunities. I have recently lost my job and instead of it being the most devastating thing that has ever happened to me, I am finding that new opportunities are presenting themselves everyday and I have the freedom to choose my future! I am so very thankful for the wonderful life I have been given and the opportunities that have come my way!
This year I am most thankful for health; specifically that of my second oldest son who is 32 years old and a single full-time father. He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with the worst strain and markers possible in April of this year. His only chance of survival was a bone marrow transplant and then his odds were still not good. He received his transplant in early August and has dumbfounded the medical community by his progress. They say they have never seen anyone do as well as he has done. We say it is a miracle only God can provide through the prayers of faithful praying saints. I am also thankful for the the reconcilliation his illness brought to many family members.

A few years back, my husband was diagnosed with his third round of cancer (non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.) I am thankful for another year!
My niece (godchild) and her 2 daughters (one of them is my godchild also). I was never blessed with children but god sent me my family. They mean everything to my husband and myself. My nieces mother passed away when her 1st born was 11 months old. I was very close to my sister-in-law. I truly believe out of the sadness of her death that she gave me the precious gift of her family. For this I am most thankful for. My husband will always be my 1st blessing then my girls. I am so blessed and fortunate.

I just found out that both my mother and grandmother need surgery before the year is out. They have both beat the odds that the doctors gave them years ago. Both surgeries are major with big risks but, I have my heart and mind set to be thankful for whatever the Lord has in store for all of us. I know that I’m thankful for the years He gave us so far.

I lost my job a year ago & have become a stay at home Mom to take care of our son while still looking for a job. There’s nothing out there. So until I find something, I’m grateful for my husband supporting us! Time’s tough and watching every penny.
I am thankful for family and health. Wealth ( in a non-monetary sense) becomes us when we honor and appreciate each other. ‘Things’ may enhance our lives; but blessings come from and for those people in our lives that we care for and care for us…as well as those who may not know they need our care but are offered service of the heart in sublte ways. The grace of God provides for those who accept the gifts and use them for actions of praise and gratitude. I am soooo thankful for my life. I suppose we all have things we wish we change about our past but all those experiences have made us who we are today. Its kind of like if we didn’t have rain we wouldn’t appreciate the sunshine. My family, friends,coworkers and acquaintances have taught me so much about the person I am. Perfect? Absolutely not. But I always try to do the next right thing and in doing so God has not always given me everything I want but I always have everything I need. So on this Thanksgiving holiday I want to give a big shout out to everyone, even the strangers I have yet to meet, who will always make me a little better, how thankful I am for each and everyone of you and the experiences you bring to me. I am thankful for Adonai’s many blessings, my wonderful family, being healthy with a sound mind and having a yearly family reunion at my Uncle’s house with everyone bringing good food.
There are so many things for me to be thankful for this year. My children, my grandchildren, and my grandchild on the way. However, the thing that I am most thankful for is my husband. He served in the military for a number of years, now he is out and is working as a civilian contractor in Afghanistan. He had never been deployed as a soldier but still wanted to serve over-seas, as a civilian contractor he can do that. This decision did not come lightly to either of us, but what he is doing allows me to watch my grandchildren while my daughter goes to college and lets me do what I love, teach people how to make cards and scrapbook. Since I can now stay at home, I have been able to do much more! I miss my husband more and more everyday, but he is doing what he feels called to do and in doing so, I am able to do the same!

Thank God. I’m thankful there is a God in heaven who loved me enough to send His Son to die for me, and that He has chosen me to be her Earthly keeper. SO SO thankful!
I am SO thankful first of all to Christ for His salvation. Then I am thankful for being raised in a Christian home and also for being married to an amazing man who also loves God. I am most thankful for my family. As we get older, some families grow and some…… get smaller. Seems that has been more the norm for me over the past 5 yrs or so. I am so very lucky to still have both my parents and the best sis anyone could ask for. But this year, we were blessed to welcome into our family the most beautiful little baby girl. Just over a month ago, my nephew and his wife brought sweet Addison into this world. And it is this precious gift I am so very, very thankful for.

What am I most thankful for? Remembering a time in my life, 18 years ago, when I was diagnosed with acute Leukemia (AML) and the chances of survival were for me was ‘nil’. But when others were asking ‘why her’, I asked God ‘Why Me’ ~ but in a totally different manner. I knew that God always has a bigger plan so I also knew that He would use this for His glory & I stood on that promise. My sister, who did not know Christ in a personal way, stayed with me in the hospital (in a different state) a week at a time when my husband had to be home with the children & work. I was weak but remembering that He is strong, kept a Bible verse on the hospital ‘update board’ in my room. Now, 18 years later, I am thankful that in His ‘bigger plan’ that my sister accepted Christ about 12 years ago as her Lord and Savior. She passed away just 3 weeks ago at the young age of 58. But, we shall meet again… and I am thankful. And as you can see, I am still here ~ ‘Why Me’? ….. and I am thankful.

I am thankful to be able to babysit my grandson everyday to allow my daughter and son in law to work at businesses on the island. I accept no pay, I am just thankful that they will let me do it. I LOVE IT!
I am thankful for my family- especially my husband who experienced sudden cardiac arrest last year. He is alive and doing well after having a defibrillator implanted. My family is my world and he is the center of our universe. I thank God every day for our life and health.

I am most thankful for my health, I had uterine cancer and same thankful that God healed me and provided me with capable surgeons and for my internist who asked the right questions. Spotting between periods is a sign of cancer ladies. It took a while to heal but I am grateful for each new day I have with my family and friends.
I am so thankful to be surrounded by family that cares and supports one another. We are blessed to have had a year of gainful employment and healthy days.

I am thankful for so much this year. I am thankful that God put me on this earth and in the right place for me.
I am thankful for my hubby and my 3 adult/children and the fact that two of them will be home for Thanksgiving. I am thankful that hubby and all my children have jobs! I am thankful for the many friends that I have and for those online friends that share so much of their knowledge with me. Finally, I am thankful that you have provided a place for all of us to share our thankfulness with the world.

Tho we don’t celebrate thanksgiving in the uk, I’m very thankful I’m alive!
It might sound corny but after having a bad chest infection for a number of weeks, it got worse and I literally collapsed through the doors of my Dr surgery last week with an asthma attack- I thought I was gone, they worked with me and I was taken to hosp in an ambulance for treatment.
I’m thankful for my family, there for me no matter what, helping me every way they can.

This year was a blessing in disquise. I went to North Carolina to celebrate my father’s 87th birthday which was unfortunately his last. He was hospitalized on his birthday and never came home again. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to tell him how much I loved him and thank him for all he did for me. I will never take for granted the words “I love you” again
A couple weeks ago my husband went to the hospital with chest pains. He had a stent put in and is doing fine now. He’s the most important man in my life and I’m thankful that he’ll be with me to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and 36 years of marriage.
Thank the Lord for every day you have left on earth because you never know when he’ll call you home.
Today I am most thankful for God’s love and all His blessings, my family and friends, and the country in which we live.
This Thanksgiving I am thankful that both my husband and sister have been declared cancer free. My sister had lung cancer and my husband had a type of cancer called sarcoma. It will truly be a blessed day.
I almost forgot–also, I want to wish Benson a “Happy Birthday.” As he celebrates his birthday on Nov.22, my husband and I will celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. I am so very thankful for him and his love and support for all these years.

We have been blessed, even though we lost a son to cancer, to have 5 wonderful grandchildren. We had them all around the table yesterday to celebrate our Thanksgiving. I am most thankful for life. This will be my 5th Thanksgiving to share with my family since my diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer. I am unendingly thankful that my Lord and Savior helped me through my battle and allowed me to celebrate my two daughters graduation from high school–and one from college—and one’s recent marriage, as well as be around to watch my son grow up into an incredible young man. Never bitter over the cancer, only grateful for the lessons it has taught me. My God deserves ALL the praise!!!!

Thanksgiving week, a week I have my grandchildren with my husband and I. They will get to see my mom again as she lays in bed fighting for her life. Time to make a Christmas card for each member of our congregation. Thankful to Megan and her team for all they do.
My first thought was to put my family or my salvation, but as I thought about it more I would say my ability to be thankful. That I have been given a spirit that feels gratitude. As a teacher we see all kinds and there are people in this world that can not find the gratitude in them and thus miss out on a great deal of joy.

I am most thankful for my family. Two years ago I almost lost 4 of my 5 children in a horrific car accident. They were 20, 15, 11 and 9. Two sustained injuries that they will carry with them the rest of their life and will always be in pain. Yet they are here with me and living fullfilling meaningful lives.

There isn’t enough space for me to list all the blessings I am thankful for this year. Although my wonderful parents are no longer on the Earth to share the holidays, I am forever grateful for the love the gave me and the traditions they passed down to me so I can pass them down to my son. The Lord is good, I have so many! My dau and son-n-law moved back home after 10yrs of being gone. My son and his family moved back last yr and we’ll all be together for the 1st time (since they were little) and we’re all happy and healthy. What I am most thank-ful for is that I just finished my training to be certified in working with Hospice patients. I am disabled myself and God has given me such better health that I will be able to sit with and hopefully give comfort to those patients that are journeying into their forever life. God is GOOD and I am so wonderfully blessed and Thankful not just on Thanksgiving but always even in these difficult times

I am also most thankful for my family. I enjoy each person. One thing I am most thankful for is how each one gives a different reflection of Him and utilizes their gifts to benefit others. I was blessed today when I went to speak at a church and ran into a client I worked with years ago. It was a blessing to hear how He is working in her life. I would never have been blessed by her if I hadn’t let Him guide me. I am thankful for Him and how He is in control so that we can concentrate on those He brings into our lives!
I am thankful for being born this time and in this place. I am grateful for all the sacrifices that were made by the people of the past to pave the way for us to enjoy the life we have. I spent 5 months living on an island in the Pacific that is 15 miles long and 5 miles wide this past summer and it really opened my eyes how we live with so much excess in this country. I was blown away by how happy the people living on this tiny island were with what little they had I have since started to scale down on what I have and am trying to live a simpler life. I am so thankful I got to experience “island life” and for all the nice people I met during my stay! It was a much needed “wake-up” call! Happy Thanksgiving everyone:)

Right at the moment I am super thankful for my Dad. My mother has had cancer in the past and recently has been put on different meds for this, that, and the other thing —- and some of them had some bad effects on her. We thought for a bit she had Alzheimer disease. But my Dad thought it had something to do with one (or more than one of the meds). He kept going to the docs (the PCP, the neurologist, and the cardiologist) discussing her problems and her meds. They now have her off almost all meds (only on a few now), and she is back to her ol’ self. However, I think a small “side effect” of all this is that she may have had a mini stroke. My Dad is now getting her to the doc(s) to check on this. He has been super, super diligent about watching her and her reactions/actions to all these meds. My parents live in Florida, and I live in Virginia, so I’m not able to be there on a day-to-day basis. To top things off, my Dad is deaf, and him and I communicate on AIM. As for him and the docs ….. the docs get impromptu visits from my Dad!! *hee, hee* Thank goodness for the technilogical age! *smile*

I am thankful for my Mom (who is 98 and I can’t keep up with her). Without her love, guidance and prayers, I would not be the woman I am today. Along with that goes my thankfulness for my children and grandchildren who also receive the same love, guidance and prayers that my Mom taught to me. When you have those three assets working for you, you can’t help but become a caring and kind person. I am thankful for the country we live in and the many men and women that protect us day and night. With all that going on in my world, it can’t get any better.

I am most thankful for my husband. I just had surgery one week ago (#7 back surgery) and he is just so special. He takes such good care of me and dotes on me. He wants to make sure that I heal up. I had one of my surgeries right before Thanksgiving and he cooked the whole meal, even baked pies. He intends to do it again this year. He has expanded his cooking skills since I hurt my back and we no longer just eat hotdogs. Thank goodness. LOL Hi vow of “in sickness an din health” he has taken very seriously. I am so thankful that he loves me so much and didn’t run away after the 2nd surgery. Thanks for the chance to win. I always love finding and trying out new products. Tami

Happy birthday Bensen! My grandmother, (who is 84), just had her third major stroke a couple of days ago. I am most thankful that she survived this stroke…It is a true blessing. Secondly, my husband and I relocated our family in September to a new state. Our youngest has been quite ill since Thursday. Thankfully, she has broken her 104+ fever, so it looks as though we’ll be able to visit our family back home, after all! The time with them will be so much sweeter this year. (My “little” brother, 34, was married in late October. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend the ceremony. We’ll also be spending Thanksgiving with a new sister!)

Most Thankful? That’s a tough one… My brother committed suicide last year and it was a big shock to everyone who knew him. 2 days before he took his life, he texted me- I really didn’t have the time to sit and text back and forth but I am thankful I did! I will always treasure those last conversations and it really makes me now take the time to stop, slow down, and give some time to those you hold dear in your lives. You never know when a tragedy can take them from this earth.
I have so much to be grateful for this year. My family is number one. Our first grandchild was born healthy despite ultra sounds telling us otherwise. My youngest daughter survived a serious car accident and improves daily. My youngest son is alive and doing well after having severe allergic reactions to medications and needing to be resuscitated 8 times and I had my first normal mammogram in 15 years. We have good jobs, good friends and a loving Father in Heaven who watches over us and blesses us daily.

it always amazes me of all the new things to create with paper products, I am thankful that we have this website to keep as a companion when life gets so busy,
I guess my “thanks” have to be a bit different since I lost my dad last Sunday and I miss him so much. I was really close to him and not having me near me will be very difficult. But I am grateful for all the years I have spent time skiing with him on the slopes in Canada and for all the great memories he has giving me and my family. He was a great great man.
I’m Thankful for God and my family and health. I have a wonderful husband, 2 amazoning sons and a awesome daughter in law and a adorable grandson that is so a treasure to us, and a grandbady on the way.

I am thankful that my Mom is no longer in pain, and has been reunited with my Dad in Heaven. They were married for 65 years. Dad died two years ago and Mom just died this past Saturday. She has stomach cancer and was in a lot of pain. I am an only child and grateful she was at my house when she died and for the past few days of her life I was able to offer her some comfort by being her “mama”. I also listened to go many conversations during those days between her and my Dad. I’m so thankful they are having a wonderful reunion this Thanksgiving and I’m thankful that God blessed me with two wonderful children that have been here this week and will be here with me for the holiday. I miss my Mom so much, but know she will have a blessed Turkey Day with Dad…
I have read the replies that have been posted. After reading them I am truly thankful for everything. I have had my ups and downs these last 4 years battling breast cancer but nothing like some of the replies posted. I wish everyone the best and continue to be thankful. There is always some that is having a bigger struggle .
I am most thankful to the donor of my husband’s new lung. He received a beautiful new lung on Sept. 19th, 2011 which is now his 2nd birthday!!! He has had a few hiccups since, but we are looking to share many more years together. I also want to encourage those who haven’t made the decision to become a donor to do so, if you can. Until you are on a transplant list and receive that call for a new organ, do you realize that you are about to receive one of the greatest gifts of all. For those of you who are donors, thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am a lucky lady I have a wonderful husband and two wonderful boys we enjoy as much of life as we can . I am always trying to learn something new As I create I find that their are so many creative woman out there I love to see the work of others
