Mother’s Day has new meaning to me, as my precious Mother & best friend passed away… I miss her so much! She was my inspiration to life. I am so thankful for having a Christian mother as a role model. She taught me how to cook, sew, & make CRAFTs of all kinds. Most of all she taught me to Love God with all your heart & live for him each day. I miss you & love you MoM.

I recently was introduced to Above Rubies and I love the tutorials! When you comment about not knowing the sewing machine, I want to jump in and tell you all about it. I am a home ec. teacher and love teaching the students about the parts of the machine. Especially the automatic bobbin winder! I do not, however, have the cute handheld sewing machine. That would be so mobile for scrapbook retreats. Love your ideas, thanks. 🙂

Thanks for all your videos, and I have a tip for you regarding Martha S’s folding board. Use the large end of a stylus instead of the bone folder. This does not seem to tear the paper/cardstock.
