How to Make Paper Rosettes and Club Ruby Class Preview

Hey Everyone

Hope you are all doing fabulous!  Since we had a replay video for Tuesday, we are posting out Tuesday Tutorial today 😉

This video I’m going to show you one of several methods for making paper rosettes, something that we are going to focus the Club Ruby Live Web Class on later this month, there is still time to sign up to be a Club Ruby Advantage Member so you can check that out if you’re interested.

For now – enjoy this tutorial on making this REALLY cute Owl card from the April Kit.  I used my new hand held Singer Sewing Machine and the Rosettes turned out splendid!  I think you may learn a trick or two and when we dive into more depth about paper flowers and rosettes in the class I’m sure you’ll learn tons more! 😉 Have a HAPPY Day!

  38. marchelle says:

Fabulous card and tutorial as always. I’m interested in knowing what you think of the TH die cut after you use it. I purchased it as a pre-order when they first came out and YES it makes it so easy to run them through the Vagabond or Sizzix etc. BUT…I just have an issue w/ the perferations….I find that they tear very easily and then the flower is ruined. NEED EXPERT advise!!!!! AND I ordered the handheld sewing machine…now I will sew more. I just hate bringing out the big one and using it for paper stitching, so this is perfect. Thanks for sharing the new product!!!thanks Megan

  39. Christine Bowens says:

I use my sewing machine, but now want to try the handheld. Great Idea thanks for sharing:)

  46. Christine says:

So I was curious, can you use the crimper instead of the scor-buddy?

  47. Madonna says:

Megan, I love the rosettes. I made a white one then thought I would add more color so I tipped it with a red ink pad…turned out great! Thanks so much! Madonna

  48. Madonna says:

Megan, love the card but what kind of envelope is use to mail this card. Regular envelope would mash the rosettes would’nt it? Please let me know of any store bought envelopes or boxes used for this type of card. Thank you for your help regarding this matter. Madonna
