Club Ruby Launch and Questions!

23 August
Monday, 23 August 2010 16:49 Written by Megan Elizabeth 18 Comments

Hey Everyone!

We have less than 50 openings left for the Club Ruby Membership – we know we are going to sell out TODAY based on how many have already signed up …. so if you’re thinking about – don’t think any longer…. DO IT! :)

www.ClubRubyDesigners.com

Those who were having troubles with sign-up – it HAS been resolved, if you happened to sign up twice, refunds were already issued and we have taken care of making sure people who wanted to sign up have been signed up! :)

We know there will be minor glitches here and there with the first few days…But we thank you ALL for your patience and understand as we work quickly to correct them….

Here is a little Comment that Sean posted earlier – but I wanted to be sure all could see:

“Hello Everyone!

Megan’s trusty side-kick here (and husband) to answer some questions ;)

First, we apologize for those who would like to sign up but aren’t in the US… we have to start in the US, but expanding to international is right around the corner.

We did have some billing “hiccups” this morning, but that’s been resolved and placing and order is easy!

For those who purchased Cricut A to Z in 2009 and early 2010 that included the membership trial, you will get an email with details.

Thanks Everyone!
Sean Gravener
Club Ruby & Above Rubies Studio”

Also – for those who have become Official Members – WELCOME!!!!! – More and MORE and MOOORRREEE Videos are being uploaded CONSTANTLY – we have quite a library that is coming to you and Club Ruby Members receive Special access to view upcoming releases of the new Above Rubies Studio DVDs BEFORE anyone else! :)   We have several other features that we will be posting over the next few days – and Club Ruby will ever be expanding!

Here are the plans and what they include!  We have offered two plans, one where you get access to community and all the instructions and tutorials, videos, special offers etc… and one where you get all that PLUS the actual Physical Monthly kits delivered right to your door!  :)

Hope you all are having a FANTASTIC Day!

Tuesday Video Tutorials WILL continue here at AboveRubiesStudio.com and we continue to work to grow and make this a great resource for you as well :)   Just wanted to let everyone know ;)

Enjoy the Moments!!!

With all the mess over elitist and exclusive clubs like the cricut circle, I’m surprised you decided to go that route too. I thought your blog was open to anybody and everybody. Oh well. Hope it works out for you. I won’t be following your blog anymore.

    Hi Erin,

I’m sorry that you feel that way. The Club is open to everyone and anyone who wants to sign up. However, we HAVE to limit the initial launch a certain number of members simple because I don’t have a limitless resource of paper materials and such and because we didn’t want to bite off more than we could chew in helping charter members get set up. Membership will continue to open up as time goes by, but its going to take time. The reason there are two levels is because we wanted to give people as many options as possible. The “elite” membership is simply a way of saying the highest level of membership offered. With the highest level you actually receive a physical monthly paper club kit…full of paper, embellishments, products etc… every month. We realize however, that not everyone necessarily will want to receive the monthly kit and supplies as they just like to use their own…so then we created the lower level that features the education side and many other member features. We made it as budget friendly as possible and AboveRubiesStudio.com remains totally free with the same videos, giveaways, resources and more that we’ve always provided.
Hope that clarifies a few more things for you and I’m sorry if you choose not to follow along any longer. I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy all your crafting endeavors!

“You can please some of the people all the time and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot please all of the people all of the time.”
So, Megan, do not let this bother you as you and your husband, Sean, are doing a great service to all of us scrappers. Keep up the good work.

“you are right you cannot please everyone” I think it is a great ideal, and I have already place my order lol. Thanks for a great job you and all the staff that work with you.

Megan I want to join the kit club but can’t afford to pay for 6 months in advance. Do will have to pay an extra $5 a month to be billed monthly? Also how much is the shipping cost?

I am trying Club Ruby for a while. Want to see how it goes. I am ‘one of those’ Cricut Circle members, but to date only have the one cartridge and of course the ‘bracelet’ but do not see any other advantage to that group right now for the $$ it cost. So I can’t wait to see what is in the ‘Package’ from you among all the other goodies mentioned.

Hi Megan. I am so happy you have opened this for people to learn more. I feel you are the “best” in all fields. You are very down to earth and willing to help us all. I cannot join at this time but I hope maybe in the future. I love your scrapbook page with your hubby (cutie) and your children. Thanks for being there for us. I for one am very happy whenever you put up a new video. Hugs Jean in Ohio

Where do I see the sign up options & how do I sign up. I must have missed all of the information while I was on vacation. I get emails from you but don’t remember seeing anything about Club Ruby. Thank you and I’m anxiously awaiting your answer as I teach Cricut Class from your A to Z dvd.

I have an account at ClubRubyDesigners, but when I try to login and no matter what password I try, it tells me it isn’t correct. So, I clicked the fogotten password link, follow the directions and an e-mail is sent telling me to click a link to reset my password. When I click the link, I’m taken to a page that tells me my information isn’t in the database and only gives me the option of registering new or resetting my password. I tried to create a new account, but I can’t because my e-mail is already linked to an account. So, in short, I can’t login because I’m in a vicious cycle that will not allow me to change it, enter a new account or login. I’ve been trying for a while to look at the club ruby kits, to see if I may want to switch from my current monthly kit club. As of now, I renewed my previous kit club because I haven’t been able to get into the site.
