Oh no I missed most of the live stream. I couldn’t log into the chat for some reason. I really feel for you trying to do this with your daughter but kids will be kids. I hope they all (and you) feel better soon. I hope you will be posting the broadcaste for those that missed it.

  • CathyinMN

Enjoyed what I was able to catch on the Ustream! Your daughter is darling! I’m sorry the kids aren’t feeling well. I hope everyone is feeling better real soon! Hugs!!!

  • Betsy Rowan

I just re watched the video cause it messed up on me at upstream. Did she mean that all of us that comment here are getting a pack of each of them?

  • Marilyn

Was not able to catch this whole video tonight due to out of town company. hope to get to see a rebroadcast . hope your kids start feeling better.

  • Brenda Irby

I’m just starting to get into making cards and thinking about scrap booking but I really enjoy watching your videos and the videos that other people share. It makes me want to be real creative. I liked your ustream tonight. I understand completely about the sick kids. Both of my grand children are sick right now also.

  • Kathy.

I hope to win and get my hands on some sparkle lightz. I ordered the black and white kit which came in the mail 2day but it was missing quite a few items, including the sparkle lightz.

  • Shawn

You may have felt bad about your daughter getting out of bed but I still enjoyed the video and the chat. I absolutely love the paper and now I actually got to see what the sparkle lights r and what they look like.

Hope your children get better soon and get some rest yourself šŸ™‚

Look forward to watching more classes and all.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy, busy day to share with us

  • Shirley E.

Megan, it was nice to see your smiling face and hear your cheerful voice. That was a much needed pick-me-up! Don’t worry about having to cut it short, your babies are the most important people that need their mom’s attention first and foremost. Can’t seem to get onto the gluearts site, was hoping to take advantage of the 20% sale, hope to be able to get on before midnight. So excited to hear your ink will be out soon! I will be ordering one of each color, WhooHoo!! God Bless you and your family!

  • Dianne Jordan

Loved the chat tonight and meeting miss jena. My twin girls (11) hear me talk about you/watch your videos so they wanted to watch the ustream with me. They had a blast! Hope you get a great night’s sleep tonight!!

  • Cyndy

Good Job! I like watching you because you are a real person. Any of us that have kids know what it is like. I am trying to learn the Cameo and I think a DVD by you or a class could help me. Hope you all feel better soon,

  • Connie Early

I love your enthusiasm! Thanks for your time. And don’t worry about your daughter as far as the rest of us are concerned. It bothered you more than it bothered us. šŸ™‚

  • Linda Lovejoy

Really enjoyed tonights ustream. Your daughter is so cute. Hope you all feel better real soon. Info was great and thank you for the opportunity to win. You are amazing Megan.

  • Vicky Hale

Thanks so much for the chat tonight and keeping us pumped for NSD! You have inspired me so much lately, started a blog, my first challenge and even letting my friends know about my blog so they can vote (I’m kinda shy about my crafting) Love seeing your babies…being a preschool teacher I know children operate on their own time, not ours. haha. Thanks again and family get well soon!

  • Sharon

Great session!! You’re a great mom and you should never apologize for putting your children first! See you tomorrow night for Once Upon A Time!! Crossing my fingers for the sparkle lightz!! Sweet dreams and praying you have a full night of sleep tonight!!

  • Debra Peloso

Great chatting with everyone tonight and I can’t wait for all of your new items Megan. I am a total fan and you have never steered me wrong with anything you have recommended or any of your dvds or products that I have tried. You also taught me that the imperfections(mistakes) that I make while crafting are part of the uniqueness of my projects and make me love them all the more. Thanks and will be checking back often for all the surprises you manage to come up with.

  • Lane Lent

Enjoyed your live chat. You did great even with having 2 sick kids. Enjoy your blog and look at it everyday. Keep up the great work. HAPPY CRAFTING !!!!

  • Michelle Fox

    Hey Megan,
Thanks for taking the time tonight to chat. Praying for you and the kiddos to get feeling better soon. Jenna is adoreable.
Thanks for sharing all that you do. I have learned so much from you and my projects are a million times better because of the techniques I have learned from you.

    Michelle

  • Joan Barch

I too have a Jenavieve. She is 6 months old (and a Jordan, 2 years old). Everyone in the family starts with a J so when we saw your Jenavieve, we just had to use that name. Thanks for sharing. I am a scrapbook and card maker but don’t find much time with little kids But when they sleep, I am in my craftroom, that’s for sure. Love your blog and facebook page. Missed most of the chat tonight (kids) but hope to see many more.

  • Donelda

I enjoyed watching your ustream broadcast to wrap up NSD !! Loved the impromtu visit from your little darling !! Keep up the amazing work YOU do for all of US {{hugs}} You inspire so many ladies to try new things and do their best. Hope you are all better soon šŸ™‚

I enjoyed the UStream tonight, and I am so excited for all the new happenings at your site. I can’t wait until I can delve in to everything (my daughter is getting married May 27, and I am up to my eyeballs getting last minute things done). I hope you and the kids feel better soon!

  • Margaret C

After watching you on Ustream Tried watching the free Paper Layers video but it says I don’t have proper permission to view. Please let me know if I can watch…thanks.

  • Breanna

Your one on my FAV’s! I come here for inspiration, new techniques, and love all the posts! Thank you for enjoying what you do!

  • Wilma

I am not able to watch the paperlayerz video either. It states I do not have permission to view this group. How can I view and download it , as Megan said we can.

  • LeeAnn Bisesi Sinclair

Megan, I enjoyed your video. Your little one is so cute and you’re a nice mommy. Somehow being a mom we never can be sure if thingw will go as we planned, and so often they don’t, but that’s ok. You’re so right…our first responsibility is to our children. Thanks for taking the time to speak with us tonight and share news with us today, and for the opportunity to win products that are so special and important to us craftersssss. Love Ya ! Hope your children feel better real soon…..and you , too !

  • Kscookie

Sorry you and the kids are all feeling kind of punk, but it looked like at least little Jena is well on the mend hope you and your son catch up with her. Enjoyed the ustream video, wasn’t able to watch the live cast. I tried to watch the paper layerz video and was told I wasn’t authorized to do so. If possivle can you give some classes on uploading pics of our cards to the blog and FB? I’m new at this and if I ever do make something to show off I would not have a clue how to do it. Take care and get well soon.

  • Jennie

OMG you’re an amazing mom! I don’t know how you balance everything bc it is not easy! Thanks for all the great info. I hope you all feel better soon.

  • Lashavia baylor

Great ustream. It was my first and I loved it. I am
Very excited about your online classes and work
    Shops.

  • monica

didn’t get a chance to watch live but found time to watch the video. i am new to your blog/videos and wondered if you will be doing classes without the die cut machines (i don’t own any as they are never in the budget). i am gearing up to do a special scrapbook for my husband who has been diagnosed with younger onset alzheimer’s and could use some simple but awesome page ideas. your daughter is so cute and its okay to step away and be mom,it should come first! hope you all get to feeling better!

  • ShelleyM

Thanks for sharing all the new info. Cute little girl, hope they get better fast. Thanks for sharing your time and the chance to win.

  • Carol Douglass

I saw an adorable Disney Scrapband last week, and since I am going with 2 of my daughters and my4 grandchildren in September, I have it on my List of things to buy. Thanks for the chance to win.

  • Susan Draxler

This was my first time visiting Above Rubies Studio. It was very nice indeed. The products that you have look also to be very interesting. I can’t wait to go to the Store and shop. Thank you so much for making me feel welcome.

  • Heather J

Thanks for all the information and I am very excited about what is up and coming from ABS. Your daughter is adoreable and I hope you and your family get to feeling better. THANKS

  • Sandie Scott

Looking good for someone without sleep. Hope you got a little last night. Ben in that spot and don’t want to do it again. Bless you.

  • Nancy

Thanks for the chance to win and I hope your family feels better soon. I know how that is but is has been a long time.

  • Deb.E.

Hi Megan! I would love to expose my cropping buddies to your Sparkle Lightz and Scrapbands. We’re always sharing where we got new products from! I know you couldn’t enjoy NSD with sick children and feeling a bit under the weather, but I wanted you to know how much I enjoy each of your videos. Take care.

  • Regina F

Sorry I missed last night, but I can relate to the kids. I, too, am fighting that “not feeling well” feeling. Hope you are not getting it, and feel better today.
Great stream, Love the smaller, juicier ink pads.
Sorry, but I have not been on this or any site for awhile, so I missed your info about the move, but from PA to Wisconsin?? Now thats a big change.
Whats up with the Gypsy? I have been trying to update mine so I can add my cartridges and it has been taking forever. Had to retry 3 times. It is actually on try #4 as I am watching this.
I have the Pazzle machine, but believe it or not, I have never used it. I got it almost 2 years ago, and it is sitting collecting dust, like my Wishblade that i never use anymore.

Love the idea of the tutorials for the machines. Will definitely be interested in that.
And do not apologize for your daughter. You are a mom first, many of us understand that. She just wants her mommy. She is so adorable.

    Have a glorious day!

    • Heather W.

I updated my gypsy yesterday & I think it took about an hour & 1/2 to 2 hours to update. I think it has something to do with the imagine content & maybe how often you update the G.

  • Heather W.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to watch the live stream as I’m an hour behind (CST) & my son doesn’t go to bed until 10 & sometimes later. Thanks for doing a recap. Hopefully everyone is feeling better after a good nights rest. I always enjoy your videos & just recently got the cricut imagine a to z DVD and now I know how to do the load last, among other things!

  • Maggie

I enjoyed the show last night, hope everyone is feeling better. Would love the opportunity to try your new products. Thank you.

  • Betsy Rowan

Also left a comment on ARS. Enjoyed the ustream and special guest star Genevieve (? Spelling). Hope you got some rest.

  • Lisa Sackett

I missed almost everything from working the past two days — but i was able to catch up on your videos. And what a lot of cool products you’re giving away. So sorry the kids aren’t feeling so well…I hope they get to feeling better soon!

  • Mabel

OK…again I missed the live ustream but am watching it now. I love the paper and sparkle lights! Hope you all feel better soon šŸ™‚ Going to watch some more of your videos on my lazy Sunday morning.

  • madonna

Your daughter is beautiful! I’m excited about the workshops. I live in a small town and we do not have a craft store let alone craft clubs or workshops. I have to travel an hour just to get to A. C. Moore. So I do order most supplies online. Love ARS! Thanks so much!

  • Debbie Z

First I would like to say…WELCOME TO WISCONSIN!! I’m in Wild Rose, formerly lived in Milwaukee for 45 years. We are in the area known as “where up north begins”. Lots of campgrounds up here, country and woods. Very peaceful, very quiet.

Great job last night. Love the SparkleLitz and Scrapbands. My goodness, decisions on what to buy. LOL. Don’t worry about the short cast, the kids ALWAYS come first, especially when they are sick. Just make sure you take care of yourself also so you don’t end up getting sick. You did a great job, so hang in there! Thanks for a chance to win!!

  • Marla

Not feeling well? You’d never know ~ you look fantastic! My son thinks Jenevieve looks great too. Thanks for the chance to win.

  • angel hildreth

I was there for a litlle while too. My computer kept freezing and I was so mad because I was looking forward to talking to you. šŸ™ Your poor kids just needed there Mommy! Hope you feel better soon. Just wanted to let you know that I was there and did get to see about the Scrapbands. I WAS wondering what they were used for and now I know. WHAT A GOOD IDEA! Wish I had thought of it!

  • Nancy

I wanted to see it last night but it was late and I had a lot of difficulty getting into it!!! Sorry about your kids….hope they feel better soon!

  • Linda W

Thanks for the short Ustream last night. Children always come first. You don’t have to apologize for being a Mommy. Children are our future. I hope they are feeling better.
As I had said, I love my Pazzles. I have amassed quite a collection of SVG files when I use to own the Circut Expression. Many customers requested an easier way to import SVGs and Pazzles sent out a patch for their 2010 PRO software so we can import SVGs directly. Thus, you can manipulate and adjust the files for your own use.
You are absolutely correct about the price being on the high end. Although it’s a much more powerful machine. It can use any pen, (not bound to brand specifics or using only the minis), it embosses, pierces, engraves and now they have a Pastry tool kit for it. No need to buy a different machine for cutting gum paste and fondant. Plus, no one can beat the price that I paid for my Pazzles (not counting that you were able to get one for free to test out, LOL) . My area AC Moore was clearing out their last three machines.

  • Lynn K.

Loved the video and that you are a mom first. Would love the opportunity to try your products, have never tried any of them.

  • Lisa

You are so very special. I love your ideas and how you share everying. I respect you for your attitude of gratitude ! Thanks Megan.

  • Pam Munck

I have an Expression and Imagine. I would like to reconnect my Expression to my computer by updating if I can and learn more about my Imagine. I just ‘had’ to have it and now it sits and waits. :o)

  • Barbara Gillespie

I enjoyed you watching you and learning of your products and about your up coming classes. Hope the kids are feeling better. I have your paper layerz and really like working with them, hope to purchase more of your product line.

  • Diane Koch

Love your videos, sparkle lites, and energy. Being a Mom comes first! Thanks for all you do, I’m a daily follower.

  • Carmen Elrod

Megan~ I wasnt able to watch the video live, but watched it later on! Children should be the number one priority in your life~ there is nothing wrong with taking care of your sick children~ they are part of you and your life~ I enjoyed seeing darling little Genevieve!
I am going to go to your store and check out some items! I am also going to Michaels and Hobby Lobby and request for your line to be sold there! I always look when I am there to see if they sell anything Megan Elizabeth!
thanks for the wonderful video and for everything you do! You continue to be my inspiration for paper crafts!
    Blessings~

  • Marie Smith

I hope this is the correct space to leave comments for the sparkle lights. They look so cool! I teach a card class and do scrapbooking. I know my girls will love to see them.

  • Gayla T

hope the babies are better and you aren’t getting ti. I’m sick now with this crud. Too sick to be scrapping but enjoying what every one else is doing. God bless you and the little ones.

  • Denisse

Sorry to hear ’bout the kids and yourself but you’re an amazing mommy doing it all on your own. Missed the live chat but watched the video….Sending tons of good vibes your way, feel better soon!!!

  • Gayla

I was sleeping through your webcast but I’m listening to it now. This eye thing is the pits because what do you do when you are sick……..read and be on the ”puter. Any hooooow, Happy Scrp day.

  • Sharon Harison

Had trouble last night with all the ads but today was much better. Being mommy is most important. Thank you for all you do to help us. Glad to hear you and Sean are still together. Noticed you were not wearing your rings.

  • Amy S

Sorry I could not make it to the chat, the whole family is sick (omgosh even the cat is sick) I am praying that you and the kids are better soon.

  • Jill

Love to hear the differences in all the die cut machines. I love my Cricut and Gypsy and feel pretty invested so I do not want to change, but would love to hear about updates and changes. I found that the craftroom messed up my Gypsy so I do not use it and am ok with that.

    Would love to win!

  • GaylaT

I’m finally done watching and I’m truely laughing so much about the babies. I know you are embarrassed but we know you are winging it on your own now and I admire you for carrying on and not rolling up in a little ball and shutting out the world. My husband died when I was 22 and he was 23 leaving me with a 2 yo girl and a 4 yo boy and I got through that and I’m here to tell you that you can get through anything if you have spunk and I can tell that you do. Those little ones are adjusting too so don’t feel upset over them not letting you be the professional woman you would like to project. Like you said, life happens. Thanks the good Lord that you don’t have to get up and go to the office every day even when they are sick and you are sick. I recongnized all the big swallows you were doing because your throat is hurting. I’m there right now, too. I’m a great grandma and I just wish I lived next door so I could come over and help but you have your biggest help right beside you all the time. You might not be feeling God’s love tomight but it is there. Too many people are praying for you for the help to not be there. We are all real woman and love seeing that you are too. You are doing great so keep plugging along. We will still be here when some of the bumps smooth out. If anyone didn’t enjoy seeing that precious baby hugging her mama that’s their problem, swetheart, not yours. You are doing way better than most would be if they were in your shoes. God bless and protect my little friend Megan.

  • Rhonda Strickland

Great video. Happy National Scrapbook Day to you Megan!! Thanks for taking the time to make the video for everyone.

  • Debby J

I could not watch as I am in Poland right now. Hope you taped it so I can watch it when I get home. Hope
    your kids are feeling better.

  • Joan Schonrock

So enjoyed your video (missed the live show-babysitting grandkids). Your tutorial videos are always so easy to follow, and am excited about your new products. Good luck with your future endeavors.

  • Audrey Roseman

Loved the video, did not get a chance to see it last night but glad I did today. We have all had sick kids so I know I sympathize with you. You always doa great job and make everything fun. Ihave the Cricut Create and would love a Cricut Expression but am content with what I have as the Lord tells us to be content whatever our circumstance. II as so pleased to have a chance to win somthing.God Bless you for all you do and you are so precious to me.
    Hugs,
    Aud

  • Florence Oberkramer

Didn’t get a chance to view you live last night, but watched your video. You are such a sweetheart, I’m a great granny, so I can say that. Your children are adorable, and you have such great patience – they come first and always will.
I love your paper layers papers and tell my fellow scrappers about them. I work with the expression 2 but still have a hard time lining everything properly, but I’m learning.
I wish you success on everything you are doing,
    Higs, Flo

  • Sandy Christman

I really enjoyed last night. It was down to earth and informative. We got to see yoour litte gir. I have notice the ring missing and the change of names. I though you were only separated, maybe trying to fix the problem, but I guess divorce was the fix. I’m really sorry that your marriage didn’t work.
I’ll be looking for my free goody bags. Thanks

  • Maria

Hope your little ones are feeling better today!!! Thanks for sharing you thoughts on the many die cutting machines out there.

  • Betzy

Hi, I am kind of new here. I like your ideas and videos. I just have a quick message, if you talk to the point I actually have time to see your videos. As you, we are very busy moms with other things to do. I am overseas and when I get the time I follow some “artists” that help my inspiration to keep my motivations.

Don’t get me wrong, but sometimes you take too long to get to the point. Almost all the time I have to wait for your video to load and fast forward it (if I have time) to get some info. Hope my point is not wrongly viewed, I just wanted to be helpful and make a good comment. Thanks for all you do! šŸ™‚

  • Vickie Bracken

It was me and my husband’s first time to U stream. We were definetly not sure what we were doing! He is my go to guy when it comes to the cricut. We would love to win scrap bands or sparkle lights. Love your products. We too know what it is to have sick children. We have a 35yr old son with Autism who is currently undergoing treatment for bladder cancer. The no sleep about wears us out. Hope you are all doing better. We are having a fantastic Sunday!

Megan, for some reason I was unable to see your blog/video actually I could see it but couldn’t hear a thing. Sorry to hear of the family being sick. Thanks again for an opportunity to win something. I have wanted that scrap band for a long time. Didn’t know where to find one, and with all our power issues around the house, the computer wasn’t working well, I couldn’t order by computer etc. Thanks for all opportunties your company provides especially your time and technique. Get well soon everyone and blessings to you all.
