Best of all, this is just the start! In the coming months, we will be bringing you more information on just how you can start making some extra cash with your paper and stamps! We’ll interview crafters who have successfully started their own creative business and share with you how they got started, how they stay motivated, and how they handle the ups and downs of the industry in these tough economic times. We’ll give details, links and LOADS of information on just how you can turn your paper passion into more than just a hobby, but something to contribute to your family income, or extra fun money on the side.
To give you a jumpstart on starting YOUR crafty business, we are putting together a list of creative blogs and websites. your new idea of sharing sites is outstanding. I have this blog and a new one which will be launched this week, I have a design studio where several designers meet every week and share ideas, techniques and we have some top designers come and hold workshops for a small group of new upcoming artists. Small groups are our focus so each person gets a lot of individual help and input. It has been a lot of fun and I hope to be able to post all of my creations on the blog above and the groups will be posted on the new blog which as I said will launch this week, Details will be on my blog. good luck to you in your health issues, it takes such will power to do this. I am also trying to watch everything that I eat, and loose some much needed weight.
Looking forward to learning how to make extra cash! Thanks so much!!!!
I would like to have my blog added to you list.

What a wonderful way to allow us to go out there with our talents. I will be retiring from teaching in the near future and staying home with grandchildren. But I would love to go further with my first love: paper crafting. I have been following you for quite some time and have marveled at how your site has evolved.
Wow! This is such a wonderful gift to share. Thank you! My friend and I own a scrapbook website. We make scrapbooks for those who don’t have the time, or the space, or just don’t know where to start. I started making scrapbooks for my friends and family. Then one day someone made the suggestion that I should sell them, so I started selling locally and now I (we) sell globally. The books sell themselves. The unique style we have chosen to use to help customers get what they want is truely satisfying. I have also started teachingscrapbook and Cricut classes. I’m starting a blog now so I can share the classes with others who aren’t able to come. Again, thank you so much for this awesome idea of inspiration.
thank you
This is an awesome list! I’ve been doing some of these things trying to get my feet off the ground! One of my favorites is teaching classes. I teach at my local arts council, almost all counties have them in my area. It’s a great place to interact with artists of other mediums, as well! Inspiration can come in so many forms! Thanks so much for your blog and all you do! I would love to be added to your blog list as well.
Thanks!
Thank you for the tips and for a chance to join your blogs list!!! CreationsbyGina.blogspot.com

Our blog is http://scrappindaisydesigns.blogspot.com and our website is http://www.scrappindaisydesigns.com. We launched 2 years ago and need help reaching the scrapbooking market outside of our immediate area. We hold 3 weekend scrapbooking retreats per year in February, May, and October in Amarillo, TX, although our original intention was to be an on-line only business. Thanks for your help in gathering this information to help those of us who love to craft make some money in the process!
I love this post! Thank you so much! I have already started implementing some of these already. Could you please add my blog too, Thanks in advance 🙂
Thanks for the opportunity.

I am just starting and am very interested so if you can add my email to the list I would appreciate it. Thanks
I would absolutely love to be on the list! http://mycraftyplacesam.blogspot.com/
This is an awesome list….I hold a scrap booking club and a crafting workshop to help support my love & hobby. The scrap booking club has been a staple that started almost 2 years ago by accident. Then, I became a consultant with Close to my Heart. (I researched a lot of these forms of consultant type business and found CTMH was the most reasonable, flexible, & affordable for everyone with Great products from stamping, inks, paper, and now cricut carts that mingle with many of the stamp sets and chip board.)
CTMH is not restrictive on my creativity by saying, “I only use or sell there products at all times.”
CTMH understand that they can not carry all items that my creative process may need to accomplish a project. This is important since I like to work with a variety of tools & supplies. I love the Kit that CTMH starts us with that has much more than we pay for.Incentives are very good too!! I do craft fairs twice a year, sell on-line with CTMH, and service busy moms/people with making projects that range from birthday party items to making a scrapbook of special moments for them= “Scrapbooker for Hire”.
Yes there are ways to make money from your love of Crafting with Paper and etc. Just got to get out of your comfort zone. I love helping others learn new techniques, how to use a product, and teaching various classes as well.
The clubs are an A+… I make wonderful friends and have wonderful quality time with people who truly want to be there. I even have people from out of town who have joined the clubs to be able to get product and receive pictures and instructions on what we did at the actual crop. Enjoying what I do and It really came in handy when my job came to an abrupt end due to closing their doors. God is so good and I am Blessed.
