I’m sorry all, I promised a new video today, and it is coming. I just had a few difficulties with editing and uploading this afternoon so it’s not all the way done yet.
We’ve been so busy around here, we moved the Studio outside of my house which has been an on going thing, and we are working on getting that ready for guests to come visit and play with us.
We have been working on the membership that is coming in March of 2010 so anyone that has already purchased Cricut A to Z will have a month free of that amazingly fun stuff. It’s going to be so awesome with special videos, guest designers a whole new design team, products, loads and loads of awesomeness! 🙂
We are in the process of working on the second A to Z video that is going to feature the Gypsy and Design Studio. I know many many many of you have asked for more on the Gypsy, and Above Rubies Studio is teaming up with an amazing group of women who most of you know, that are going to do this second DVD with us – you won’t want to miss it! 🙂
Oh CHA – That’s right, CHA in Anaheim California January 22nd and 23rd, we are leaving on the 19th for that fun trip and we’ll be getting back on the 25th, but don’t worry I’ll be doing plenty of checking in! 🙂 We are going to be having prizes, giveaways and some awesome demos of great new products. All stuff you won’t want to miss.
Now if you are going to be at CHA, here are a few things you will want to know:
- Above Rubies Studio’s booth is number 1004 and when you come in the main entrance go to the right and walk down aisle where you see Crafter’s Companion we are right beside them across from the Joann’s booth, you really can’t miss us 🙂
- We are going to be demoing and having fun with the Cricut, Viva Decor and Couture Cardstock and we’ll answer plenty of questions and make a lot of cool stuff.
- Joy Tracy from Obsessed with Scrapbooking and The Calendar Girls is going to be spending quite a bit of time with us, Tammy Skinner and Melanie Brown are also going to be popping in to say hello and hang out with us during Friday and Saturday so come and get their autographs and pics with them they are so fun!
- On Saturday morning, I announced on the Cricut Message Board that the first 50 people to walk up to us on Saturday and tell us their favorite Cricut Cartridge gets a free prize from Above Rubies Studio…can’t miss that!
Thats about the inside scoop for those going to CHA, but do not worry, like I said, there are still going to be plenty of prizes on the www.AboveRubiesStudio.com those two days and much more fun…

There is going to be three levels of membership and once the membership is unveiled, you will understand why there is a fee 🙂
I am not charging for videos that I do on a regular basis don’t worry 🙂
I’m still going to be here doing exactly what I love, creating and putting out info that I think will help other paper crafters 🙂

woo hoo! Im so excited about CHA! I live in las vegas so its only a couple hours to drive to aneheim and I have even convinced my bf to go with me (he is so sweet :]) anyway hope I am one of the 50 people on sat!

A question: on what cartridges would I find butterfly cuts? (ie., is there an easy way to locate them?) I think my gypsy would be one way. ({you can tell I’m a novice…HA!}

Gypsy A to Z is going to be a whole new video just on the Gypsy 🙂 Very excited about this one 🙂 We are expecting to have the dvd on shelves in April of 2010
Will your new video include instructions on the Design Studio?
I may be just watching the video’s then. I am on a fixed budget and taking care of my parents in my home and have no extra money. So won’t get in on the membership thing.
Keep the video’s coming. I really enjoy them and am working on getting another cartridge.
