MOPS 2009-2010 Crafts and Planning 3

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that in all things at all times, having all you need, you may abound in every good work”  2 Corinthians 9:8

I’m super excited because tonight I feel like is the official “kick off” to getting MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers) ’09-’10 going!

Tonight is the first steering committee meeting and we are going to have so much fun planning out the upcoming events for MOPS!  I sat down today and was really praying about what God can do this year, and I have to tell you I am so thrilled.  I made out a small list of some of the crafts that I think we should try to attempt this year too, so we’ll see how that goes!  Crafts is only a small part of what MOPS is all about, but it’s so fun for me…

A few ideas I think we may try are:

  • Photo Paper Brag Books
  • Recycled CD Case Floating Picture Frames
  • Rag Doll Christmas Dolls
  • Scented Bath Salts and Jar
  • Ice Cube Candles
  • Beaded Toggle Bracelets
  • Mean Mommy Pills Jar (M&M Jar for “mean mommy” days)
  • Freezer Paper Screen Print T-shirts or Totes
  • Sushi Roller Flower Vases
  • JUST TO NAME A FEW IDEAS!

What do you think of the ideas?  Do you have any of your own?  Please comment and share I would LOOOOVVE to hear them!!!

I’m excited about new ideas and a fresh start to the year!!!  I just can’t wait to see how it all plays out and how God works.

If you are in the Reading/Pottstown, Pennsylvania area, you should come check us out.

We are meeting at Mountain View Chapel in Douglassville, PA.

The Mountain View Chapel MOPS program is about…

  • Celebrating motherhood
  • Meeting needs
  • Making connections
  • Experiencing God’s love
  • …through relationships and resources

It was hard enough bringing your baby into the world. But now it’s gone and turned your world upside down! When did showers become a luxury?! MOPS knows you are experiencing a challenging phase of life when doubt, fear, frustration and exhaustion collide with love, joy, hope and elation. This is a turbulent time for both you and your child. So while you’re pouring yourself into the development of your child, let us pour encouragement, insight and confidence into you!

Please feel free to contact me for more information about this wonderful program that I’ve been privileged to be a part of and hope that I can see you there soon!
