I had to delay this week’s Tuesday Tutorial, BUT, I have some other fun stuff to hold you over 😉

1) Facebook Giveaway ALERTS!

Starting this week, Above Rubies Studio will be posting “Giveaway ALERT” questions on Facebook on a regular basis (you changes to win never stop!). Just by leaving your answer in a comment on our Facebook wall post and you could win a stamp set, or a paper pack, embellishments, or you could even…

Win a FREE Teresa Collins Stamp Maker! ($160 value)

I’m not kidding! Sometime this week I will post a “Giveaway ALERT” question on the Above Rubies Studio Facebook wall. All you have to do to enter to win is post a comment answering the question!

To get the Giveaway ALERTs in your Facebook profile, click the “Like” button at the top of the Above Rubies Studio Facebook page. Because of the way Facebook works, you won’t get the Giveaway ALERTS or be able to answer the giveaway questions unless you click “Like”. If you have already “liked” the page, you won’t see the button.

This machine is really great and you can turn just about any image into your own custom stamp! Here are a few stamps I created recently:

I thought giving away a free Teresa Colins Stamp Maker would be a fun way to kick off the facebook Giveaway ALERTs 🙂 So again, here is what you need to do to enter to win the Teresa Collins Stamp Maker (and other Facebook giveaways!). I will post the alert sometime this week, so keep your Facebook eyes peeled!

2) A Hint to My Newest “Mystery Project”!

If you have been following me recently, you may remember me mentioning that I’ve been working on something BIG… I’ve kept it a mystery for a little while, but everything is coming together and the time to announce it is coming VERY soon!

The first hint I gave was that it will help you have MORE fun with your die-cutting machines (any of them) and that it’s not a DVD and it’s not Stamps.

Here is your second hint: It is fun and colorful and will save you time and money.

3) I Want to Meet You this Weekend at the NJ Scrapbook Expo!

If you’re going to be in the New Jersey area this weekend, I’ll be at the New Jersey Scrapbook Expo (at the Photocentric Booth) and I would LOVE to meet anyone who might be there who follows Above Rubies Studio! Feel free to hunt me down and say hi!

The expo is this Friday (10am – 6pm) and Saturday (9am – 5pm) at the Garden State Exhibit Center. Here is a link to the NJ Scrapbook Expo website with show details and directions.

4) A Project to Inspire Ya

Ok, so my Tuesday Tutorial is coming at some point, we’ve just been going crazy over here with all kinds of greatness, but here is a Scrapbook Layout continuing that MONSTERS theme from Last week’s Video.  Take a look 🙂

I used the My Little Shoebox Imaginary Friends Paper for this layout.  I also used my Cricut, the Mickey Mouse Font Cartridge to spell out MONSTERS and Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge to make the monster on the left cut at 3″.  It was fun 🙂 I love this paper!!! 🙂
