Above Rubies Studio: The BAD News (Part 3) 31

More Bad News….and This honestly does break my heart a little bit to share – but GOOD News is coming again tomorrow and I know this really will be for the best of all – so smiles anyway! šŸ™‚

Below you will find the gist of a letter I had to send out to Members of Club Ruby Designers – I thought I had to share them with you.

Club Ruby Designers (www.ClubRubyDesigners.com) is taking on all new changes and some have come to me at a heavy heart with decisions that broke my heart to make – but MOSTLY it has come with GREAT exciting positivity!Ā  ClubRubyDesigners will no longer be accepting Advantage Members and all current members are going to no longer be charged for membership Starting March 1, 2012.

ClubRubyDesigners website is going to be taking a back seat for awhile and we are going to be bringing you all BRAND NEW LIVE Classes, Recorded Courses/Classes and Digital Workshops every month RIGHT HERE at AboveRubiesStudio.com – I will be instructing these class alongside Britten Pisowicz and Cindy Burgess and a GREAT List of Other Designers EVERY single Month!

There are many personal changes and opportunities as well happening for me….some awesome, some scary, some wonderful and some hard…but all are a blessing and I would love to ask each of you my crafting friends, to keep me and my family in your prayers through these times!Ā  Some days its harder than others to know what God has planned for us – but I KNOW “He works all things together for the good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose…who He first knew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son” (Romans 8:28-29)

Check back tomorrow for some GOOD News and I thank you guys for your love and support! šŸ™‚

As much as I will miss being a member of Club Ruby, I am looking forward to sharing your new adventure and wish you well. It is hard making decisions that will affect others; however, change can be a wonderful thing. I am looking forward to the hearing more about the classes. Prays will be with you and your family.

I have enjoyed all from your web site since I found it. I know what ever comes in the future comes from your heart. You and your family follow the Lord so wonderful things will happen to you. I look forward to seeing and hearing all that is happening. Blessing to you and your family.

  • Amie Kiger

Absolutely will be keeping you and your family in my prayers. Your faith is amazing, Megan, and everything you do shows it. Be strong and courageous through Him! Cannot wait to see what is in store…

  • Cathy DeCillo

Will most definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers…I have been experiencing rough times just as well and wonder the same thing. In the last two and a half years I have lost my husband and my mother. I take comfort in two things, that they are in heaven together and the expression “When God closes a door, He opens a window!!!” So I am waiting for that window to open!!! Thanks for everything Megan, as my scrap booking is one of the things that keeps me sane, and calm in my world of stress and insanity!!! God Bless.

Good luck and God bless you. One thing is for sure in life and with sales, you have to change and adapt to the flow. As long as You start with God you will succeed. I have every confidence your new products will be successful. In fact I look forward to ordering the ones you showed on you CHA video. God’s blessing again to you and your family and your business!

I am sure I speak for many of us when I say I will miss the ClubRubyDesigners web site. For me, it was a place to post my creations and receive feedback, something special for me because I have no one in my “real life” to do that. It made my creating just a little more enjoyable. But at the same time, I am thrilled for Megan and her new adventures in the crafting business. I wish her and her family all the best and know that with her determination, she will go far.

I am new to your website so I don’t really understand all that you are saying re the Advantage Members. I do want to tell you, however, that you and your family are in my prayers. Blessings. Jean

Megan I have onluy been with you since about Dec 2011 , but have gotten so much out of your site , plus the Cricut information you share is wonderful, and I just wanted to say that if all bad news was as good as yours the world would be a lot better place to reside in,, God is with you so all the decison you make will be fine , he will guide you throught it , and the rest of us will adjust just as your having to do, stepping out of our comfort zone is hard to do , but when we do amazing things happen to everyone involved , so go to your new adventure with a gladness that God is working through you!!! your friend in crafts , Sandy

Thank you for your faithfulness to seeking God’s will in and through your life. You inspire us to also be faithful in our own lives. We lift you up in prayer as you work through these changes.

I can only imagine how busy you’ve been, and with all the changes going on. As a family develops there are bound to be blessings & excitement, as well as bumps and bruises — for both your professional life, and family life. But God has all things under his care. I’ve found Isaiah 43:2 to be most helpful when things are overwhelming…in any direction. Keeping you in prayer as you progress in all areas of your life. =) God Bless!

This doesn’t surprise me since there was little attention given to the site. I was going to cancel my membership starting in March anyway. The $7 a month really wasn’t worth it. Good call that you realized it wasn’t working out. It made us members frustrated.

  • Cydney

I agree with Kathleen. I too had been considering canceling my membership since I spent most of my Megan time on Above Rubies Studio site rather than the Club Ruby site. Best wishes as you move forward and I hope that you and your family continue to be happy as you face changes. Keep up the good work on the craft supplies and tutorials.

You stepped out in faith to share what you knew with anyone in the web world who would take the time to listen to you..And look where your faith has taken you . There are always bumps in the road, but relying on God makes the bumps a little easier to travel over. . I look forward to the lessons you still have to teach us.I’ve learned so much fomr you already. I love the style you use to teach us. I love to also hear about your family, children and even about the dining room set you wanted for Christmas. Stay strong in your daily walk with God and I for one will be here to learn what ever you are trying to teach us. May God continue to bless you, and then it can trickle down to us.

Yes Megan, He works all things together for good to those who love Him. Amen!!!
Do you watch Joyce Meyer? She is speaking lately on following what you know to be true instead of your feelings, because you can’t trust your feelings. Know that you are loved beyond what you or I know as human love, and in trusting Jesus, you will be blessed beyond your belief.

    Love to you,
    Doreen

Wow! Megan, where do I begin! First, let me say…you and your family are in my prayers and I have added you to my journaling so I can lift you up daily. Change can be good, especially when your focus is on God and you are listening to His will. I thank you for your testimony and strong faith in your exceptionally talented crafty business and will love following you in the next few months on this new adventure, however God leads you! Love, Hugs and Prayers, Connie

  • Linda Jamme

This is exciting. I know change can be scary but so often we would not want to go back to the way things were before. I trust you will lead us in the right direction and we will all be so excited to see the new improved Above Rubies Studio. I love all that you have here now so I can only look forward to see what is coming from you! Blessing to you.

  • MommyMe

I am with you all the way! I was never able to afford to join, despite the meager price tag. I cannot miss what I never had. However, I have been with you for a LONG time, and plan to stay. I’m excited for all that you’re doing, and all that you share! You and your family have been in my prayers.

  • Caro Pringle

When you follow God’s Will so closely it can be joyous filled with love and light and scary all at the same time….continue to be courageous you are indeed His instrument and He is watching over you. I look forward to seeing your work with Him blossom…..hugs to all your family……Thankyou for the way you share, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Peace and Joy to you all!

I have been praying for you and your personal life. You alluded to some difficult personal decisions recently and as a 64-year-old mother/grandmother I am concerned. Could you possibly give me an update? You may write me directly at my e-mail address if you prefer not posting publicly. I just have found in my many years as a Christian (55 years) that it is more effective to pray for specific needs. I am not a “nosey” person – just a concerned Christian. Blessings to you – may you find comfort and peace under His wings.
